Shining Silhouette

I finally finished my first draft of my musical representation of Way of Kings Chapter 35! It's the scene when Kaladin is sent into the highstorm to be judged by the Stormfather- a death sentence. My interpretation starts the furious storm, with Kaladin tossed around mercilessly and clinging to the roof and the ring that holds him. I'm still developing a motif for Syl's voice in the chapter, but there are bits and pieces of her "voice" throughout the recording, desperately trying to help Kaladin hold on for dear life. It's a twisted world of horror as the storm grows in power, and the intensity escalates until Kaladin blacks out... to find a world of silence and peace and a mysterious face staring back at him. He then wakes up in the storm again and is thrown against the barracks until he finally blacks out. Disclosure: this is my first attempt at recording, and everything will probably be a lot different in my other drafts and definitely in my final as most things aren't worked out yet. I'll share progress updates in my SU until I'm finally ready to share my final copy in the creator's corner! I hope you enjoy!
