      That is how anything works as by doing it more the better you get. Like a cat, at first they are scared and won't come out from the couch. Then as you start to care for them they slink out. By playing with they you bond with them and finally when they love you they will come sleep on you back at night or when you have a blanket they will pester you until you let them under.
