  1. Bookwyrm tried to narrate the fabric of TLT to make it so Fuzzy wasn't crying. Ahem. Fuzzy stopped crying. (Did it work?)
  2. Bookwyrm frowned. Uh oh, he thought to himself. "Why can't you stop crying?" asked Bookwyrm.
  3. Bookwyrm narrated himself over to Fuzzy. "Hello," he said. "The pulses have stopped now. You can stop crying."
  4. Bookwyrm and Wizard were soon so close to the source of the pulsing that even their narrated sound-proof shields were beginning to erode away.
  5. Bookwyrm continued traveling toward the source of the sound.
  6. Bookwyrm followed the now-apparent direction of the pulses. "Hey, @The Wandering Wizard!" he said. "We have to finish our quest to find the pulses!"
  7. Bookwyrm narrated a bubble of sound-proof air around himself and tried to figure out how to stop the wails.
  8. Bookwyrm decided to put a stop to this. He went searching for the Nameless End.
  9. Thank you. I have also never seen The Office, so none of them make sense to me. But I have my own things to put here! (Most of them are science themed in some way or another.)
  10. I think the only way to answer the question concretely would be to figure out the mechanisms that are allowing Kelsier to survive in this new body. I'm pretty sure it's Hemalurgy, but as he is the only example of a cognitive entity being tied to a physical body through that metallic art, we can't be sure what would happen. The Heralds, who are technically Cognitive Shadows, just turn back into those Shadows when their bodies die, but as we see with other Cognitive entities, there are differences in what would happen. I think there's a possibility that if you were to just kill his body, he would still survive Cognitively, because all you did was sever his link to that body. For that same reason, his body would probably die if you pulled his Spike out, but his Shadow would still live. That's what I think, at least. Now, you could try to trap Kelsier in a gemstone, like what was done with Jezrien at the end of Oathbringer. I think that causes some problems that might end Kelsier's Cognitive Shadow. (It's been a while since I looked into that whole mess of mechanics, though, so I'm not sure.) As for an Anti-Investiture weapon...I think that we can say for sure that one of those will kill any Cognitive Shadow, Kelsier included.
  11. The reason The Difference was so hard to find was because he was in a very, very, very deep hole.
  12. The leader of the ninjas turned out to be Somepeople.
  13. But it was actually the great Flaffle war of 1805. Odium's forces clashed violently with the Ghanderflaffles. But while Odium's Fused kept coming back after each Everstorm, the Ghanderflaffles had no way of replenishing their forces.
  14. "Thou hast underestimated our Consultant hiring funds, vile foe. Thou shalt regret the day you cursed us with this most terrible of curses!" I can't do Shakespearean English very well.
  15. The Ghanderflaffles were very displeased. So they hired a consultant.
  16. "Forsooth!" The emperor of the Ghanderflaffles said. "Why hast thou cursed us with this vilest of curses?!"
  17. Because despite being eradicated, the Ghanderflaffle Empire was rising. I wonder how many times people have said that on this thread.
  18. Less atmospheric, but astronomy is my primary feild. I am a huge nerd about anything that comes to space. I want to be some kind of astrophysicist when I grow up, probably studying exoplanets or black holes. Who else here has seen Interstellar?
  19. To emphasize this, Eof smacked himself in the face.
  20. I don't live in the path, but stormwinds I am seeing that eclipse. No matter what. Did anyone see the old one in 2017? (The place where I live now was in the old 2017 path, but I didn't live there in 2017, so I had to do some traveling.)
  21. We don't really have any idea. The fact that God metals exist in the first place is really interesting to me, as it tells us a lot about how Shards work and about the nature of their Investiture. But these god metals also have a wide variety of uses, both in things like fabrials and in the Metallic Arts. Brandon has not said anything about the powers of God metals that don't belong to the Scadrian Shards, and so while I think it's likely that there are interesting powers to gain from them, we currently have no way of knowing what those powers are. (I know that's basically an unhelpful rant, sorry. But it's a really good question that I've asked myself many times, so good theorizing!)
  22. Saturn. Yes, it's rings are cool, but it also has the best moons of any planet in the solar system. Did anyone else watch the lunar eclipse last night?
  23. "Yellow-purple! You enormous potato red-panda cheesy half-wit, you'd better stop drinking dragon pee, or the sparkly Witherlord might just end another deadly mercury-and-uranium soup inhalation by eating while flying and eating chartreuse rocket Humboldt penguins!" Screamed Darth Geronimo Stilton at Butt Ad Venture while fishing for."
