I remember noticing at some point there was an italics mistake with some Nightblood dialogue. I don't remember the exact phrase or page, and I don't have my copy with me to look right now, but I wanted to put a note of it here in case someone else found it and I missed it when I read through the thread.

Hard to say, some of the Roshar vs. Scadrial threads were pretty good...
You aren't fooling anyone.

My era in TLT has ended but it is by far the best topic.
A notable runner up is the first Insanity Clinic RP, which has since ended...but those were good days.
I think as a whole the RP section is the best subforum, though. At least these days. (Not that I've poked my head into the actual Cosmere discussion forums enough lately to accurately judge.)

Yes! I read the manga first, but Brotherhood is so good! (I haven't watched tge 2008 anime yet)
I've only seen Brotherhood. Haven't seen the other or read the manga. Though I've heard good things about both of them.

...So, that character once killed 5 men and took a train over from them for calling him "pipsqueak"
...*furiously writes notes to never call Glass short again.*
Oh, we're still talking about Ed?
That's a good show.

I haven't posted here in a while, but you are all due an update. (If you hang around the areas of the Shard that I do, though, you already know.)
I've been confirmed an Elder and have recived my Endowment, and am getting set apart as a missionary very soon. I'm serving in the California Arcadia mission, speaking Spanish.
It's been a crazy few months, and while there are some nerves, I'm also very excited. My testimony has grown in some important ways lately, which is good. And I'm sure that trend will only continue.
If any of the people reading this want to be on my email list, just send me a PM, and I'll add you.

I read it, and I don't think so. I think Brandon does plan to use elements of it when he writes the canon Dragonsteel, so I guess if you wanted to go in completely blind it would be best not to read it, but from what I could tell it didn't seem like it had any huge spoilerific implications for the Cosmere.

!!!!! ?????? Truthwatcher buddies?????? !!!!!
It feels like no one is a truthwatcher, not that I've looked a whole bunch.
The issue is I used to be a lot more Windrunner so I've always imagined myself as a Windrunner, and I love their power set, and I had a personality in mind for my spren and everything, and then later I realized "...yeah, I'm totally a Truthwatcher." So I dunno. Maybe the oaths of the orders don't conflict as much.

...Isn't Teft a good two or three decades older than Kaladin?
I thought he was a mentor figure...
Regardless, welcome to the Shard!

Yeah, I'm Truthwatcher, and am in the same boat. There isn't much known about some of the Orders.

At this point, I think it's okay if everyone takes it their own direction.
I'll see if I can find time to squeeze this out, but my life is getting busier by the day...

See that little grey heart at the bottom of other people's posts? If you click that, you give them one reputation point. Basically it's just a way to "like" a post or comment. You can't click your own, but other people can.

A humanoid alien clicked his tongue in distaste, though it sounded more like a snake's hiss. "A real shame."
Olea stiffened and tightened her grip on her staff, but didn't say anything. She kept walking.
Better safe than sorry. I've already had enough of this station.

Bookwyrm how can you call me a new generation when I am arguably responsible for this thread's existence
Well not you, specifically, but there are new people. I don't think I've been here since Glass joined.
...Maybe I judged hastily.
Still, the Shard has changed a lot since this thread was made.

There's a new generation.
It's been a while since I looked at this thread.

Lucia runs over "Oh. Well. I'll be damned." She turns to Olea "Keep down this hallway. Turn left. You'll be at the station." She quickly scans the hand, puts in a immediate report, through her channels.
"So this is another disappearance."
Olea nodded and hurried down the dark corridor, wary of the sounds around her. She made a left and exited the alleyway.
QuoteBy "station" did you mean the OCR office building?
Also if there's anyone who wants to interact with Olea, there's a finely dressed tall birdlike alien with a long staff who just came out of an alleyway.

QuoteSorry, busy day.
Olea let out a squeak of fear. Her grip tightened on her staff.
