Ah okay thanks, I probably could have guessed that lol The Unknown Order has given me the most to suspect since I could see some of the things he said being schemes (for example claiming to be a second telephone operator which could blow up a ton of villagers as a scum cover claim). Honestly there is pretty much nothing to go on though I think we just need to eliminate more people for POE.

Not quite but if you wanna do this for process of elimination I feel like there's almost definitely gonna be a day 3 for the village to win so I won't take it personally Also how does one submit a vote on this website?

Hahaha what a great day 1 that was I promise I will play tomorrow, I passed out as soon as I got home from work yesterday and didn't get a chance to think of who I might have wanted to vote based on everyone's singular posts lol. I did read the thread though and I wanted to say that I kind of agree with this post But I also think we need to make sure to coordinate that then so half the people don't go one way and half the people go the other way. So are we guarding or are we using roles? Otherwise I can see this leading to mass bloodshed I also think unknown order is either lying about their role or villager because what are the odds both mafia are phone operators

Hi everyone, how fun to be playing this game again! Looking at the rules my first thought was that guarding might be a bad idea in general. Because it seems more likely than not you will kill a villager by accident. Like if you guard against a town medic who is protecting you you kill them. I guess it might be useful on the last night phase to potentially have that be a hero shot on mafia but it just strikes me as likely to backfire because it's more likely you'd kill a villager. I feel like you would have to be so confident for it to be worth it. Am I missing something? Reading the rules more thoroughly, I wanted to flag that the mafia do not win at parity: it says they need a majority. This makes it a LOT easier for us to win. Actually, when I think about it, that's probably what guarding is really meant for! We can block mafia kills that way once the numbers are low. For example if it is 2:1 and the town miskills, still at 1:1 that night the last villager can stall and force it to go to a cointoss. So that's actually extremely useful then, whereas probably not worth the risk on the first night when so many villagers will be doing abilities and we wouldn't be nearly as confident. Sorry for the rambling thoughts. I'd love to chat about this with whoever comes on and figure out the best strategy :)

I could run a game, either now or after you! I have some really great setups I have run elsewhere that I would love to share with you all. How many players approximately for the game size? Also should it be themed as a brandon sanderson book or can it be anything?

Woah, thanks for taking this home team! Sorry for my inadequate participation, I was going through a ton irl when this was going on and was a bit too overwhelmed to realize I was so overwhelmed. Obviously I usually try to play better than this. That said I'm glad I was right with the one vote I did make on matrim - bad vibes is bad vibes, what can I say. Hope to play with you all again soon and hopefully I actually am in a headspace to, ya know, play next time.

I obviously don't think it's bad to vote on gut. You just said "I am primarily basing my conjectures on the vote count for the previous day." I don't see that as connected if you're just making a gut read at the end of it. As for turtle, whatever, you're entitled to your opinion but my suspicion was sincere and I don't know what suggests otherwise.

I don't really understand how you're narrowing your pools here or using the vote count in any way. You didn't give any reason about why you narrowed the turtle voter pool to being most sus of me and archivist at all, you just listen that everyone was joining without justification. Why single us out? Similar with Stick, you say here that no one really had reasons. But you think silver seems the most suspicious but only based on gut. So I guess I don't get this point. You're not really using vote data at all from the looks of it? Well if it's any consolation, what I lack in reasoning I make up for in commitment

@dannnnnnex yeah it's really not based on a ton, they just seem to be trying to overexplain to the point of convoluting, or setting things up too carefully. Also maybe sus of illwei today but idk

I'll be pretty choked if Cinnamon turns out to be elim. Sort of soul read them as a villager now that I've seen more play I also think Archer seems villagery with their entrance.

I guess I have no idea what I'm doing then. Idk, maybe I'll try to have a mid-game crisis on day 3. Sorry @Turtle for basically saying I don't like the way you talk and then starting a poorly justified wagon against you because of it. I feel kinda bad.

I'm personally quite happy on Turtle, my original read has held with their posts since then. And I think Stick is quite a bad choice due to what seems like good contributions and thoughtful play.

Not entirely sure how me being honest and upfront about my own generally favored nightkill rationale would be an attempt to confuse people away from thinking about the NK. I was really just inquiring because I didn't know about the site meta. Also, me lurking is just RL. I've played a previous game here I was elim and you could compare to that, I wasn't lurkery there, so idk if that's really a useful tell against me.

Don't really see why you're posting this if it's just for yourself. This is a tonal read but I'm voting Turtle. I get the feeling they are trying to document an ostensible process of being interested in solving and interested in the game because a few times they have put forward the setup of solving without any outcome or real process. In other words, I think they are more interested in their appearance than result (also ex here). It comes across as nervous. Could someone remind me of to format a vote here? Lol
