    "Stew would be fine, it certainly smells good. I'll be needing a room for a few nights at least, I'm looking for a more permanent place to stay after ... recent events." the stranger paused for a moment, a distant look in his strange eyes. He shook his head and refocused on Tashi. "As for the money, I don't know if you can convert mine, It's not from here." He reached into his cloak and pulled out four odd coins, ones not made of normal alloys. "This is most of what I've got, Redӕls, Fents, Norts, and Denps. Haven't found anyone who can convert them, but I have a few Crysts, not sure how much they're worth." He paused again. "I realize I have not told you my name, as politeness dictates. I am called Balance. As for the information, something here is ... off. The energy feels warped, and I keep seeing discrepancies that no one else seems to notice. I was told to ask after the Scholars guild." He looked at Tashi, his eyes having wandered during his speech. @ZincAboutIt

    "We are who we are, and hope always slumbers where you least expect it. As we have said before, if we have access to a strong Chronokinetic, that one could slow him enough for us to bind him, and slow his breaking of the binding long enough for him to be SEVERED."

    There was a rushing of wind and a soundless thunder, and the six skeins appeared, hovering in sitting positions just above the seats. why seven chairs?

    The stranger walked in, dripping on the floor. after a moment, he removed his hood and pulled down the scarf from his face. he walked up to the bar and sat down. "Hello, Tashi," he said in a low voice, which was raspy from disuse. He had a strange accent, one that made his language oddly stilted. "I'll take water, nothing with alcohol. It has ... unfortunate effects near me, especially that which is meant for drinking. If possible, I would like to rent a room. in the meanwhile, do you have anything to eat?" he looked at her hopefully, dark hair unruly and unkempt. "I'm also looking for information, or people who can help me discover exactly what is going on here." @ZincAboutIt

    As dark clouds loomed, a man in a dark blue cloak walked up to the door, face covered by a scarf against the wind. He made it to the doorway just after the sky let loose, pouring down an excessive amount. He seemed to hesitate for a moment, then felt a ripple pass through the energy he could always sense. He drew his cloak closer, then knocked, a gleam reflecting off his golden irises. @MacThorstenson @ZincAboutIt

    "That would not be advisable, we must focus on the Witherlord. We know enough about ourselves, and we know more when we are together. We shall go to the meeting now." The six skeins vanished with a sound of rushing wind and silent thunder.

    okay, I'll use it for something else "Very well, we accept, on the condition that after the Witherlord is defeated, if we are still around, the consultants help us RUNITE."

    I require a quote for mageforged unobtanium. The Spectra warrily took the envelope from him. "We believe that that is untrue, because of the balance that we represent. As the saying goes, there is more than one way to kill a chasamfiend."

    The Derka smacked it, because it was his cousin.(all elemental forces are kin) The six skeins shrugged in unison. "We know only that it is the most basic, most primal force, the one we have in common. We were once one being, but we have found that we cannot REUNITE until the Witherlord is defeated, for his existence was part of our SHATTERing. We have only vague, disjointed memories of what we were before. We know better what the one whom we are calling Bob is than we know ourselves."

    Thanks! To clarify, are guilds aware of the Forging? b/c my character was cared for by TUBA when in coma(happened upon entering world), and got info from them.

    "Very well then," the skeins chorused. They moved so that they were in a circle centered on the consultant. Holding up their arms, they began to chant, and shifting blue lines appeared on the floor, reminiscent of casting circles. they finished with one word that was in a different language, but all understood - "BIND!", and the consultant was unable to do anything, except think, and that only as if he was feruchemically storing thoughtspeed nearly to the limit. The six remained with their arms in the air for a moment, then dropped them, and the consultant was immediately freed from the spell.

    "The one inside the binding can have time stretched in such a way so that if it would take them 2 minutes to escape, it would take two millenia. However, it takes an incredibly strong chronokinetic to do it."

"If we circle him, we have an enchantment that will bind him, it will bind anything, living or dead, though the time it can be bound varies depending on the power of the thing or one being bound. However, it will take exactly three realtime minutes to complete, and the one we wish to bind must remain within a given area."

    "We do, we can bind him for at least a short period of time. However, we do not dare test it on this Witherlord, elsewhise he figures out how to escape from it." The skeins gave him a confused look. Who was different from the one we are calling Bob.

    In time, he came to the cavern with the six skeins, the Derka, the Spectra, the Ordyhq, the Igneate, the Gemmler, and the Anem.

    However, the emissary was not sure where to go. Deep in an underground cavern, the six skeins, the ones met before, gathered together to wait.
