doom and bunny
I keep running into the same problem. It's not that big of a deal most of the time, but when there are five or six of us on at the same time, and all of a sudden when I post, three other people have posted, it causes a few problems.
You know, Silus might have a valid point here.
Also, the stats page being gone is deeply sad, but it also means that we can spam posts about stats here without being accused of being redundant. Not that that ever stopped us before, but....
I've become convinced that Shiro controls BYU's internet filters as well. I can't access a good 15 - 30 percent of the sites I want to, and most of them give the reason "byublock" for their blockage, as opposed to the legitimate reasons like "malware" that show up from time to time. The IT department is probably coming to hate my requests to have sites whitelisted by now.
I have changed my mind. For my own safety, the contents of this post have been removed.
And now, let the speculation as to who I was replying to begin.....
Hmmm... If I lurk for three hours, I can claim that at one point, I had spent more time online than Eerongal....

Blast. I was beaten to the punch. This originally said, "To assassinate the," but that doesn't make any sense after we're told we're eating. Sad day. This thread needs more assassinations.
I love that they even missed the ones where the actual English words were there on screen. That, and that "Noooooooo!" gets translated as "Do not want." This is absoluely brilliant, though.
Understood that it's not confirmed that all magic users hold splinters. I just believe it to be the case, and tend to theorize along those lines. Sorry if I'm wandering too far into the realm of speculation. It's a bad (read: exceedingly awesome, yet easily-getting-out-of-hand) habit of mine.
I'm not sure when it was written, but as far as I know, none of it was cannibalized. Or if it was, it was done so very sneakily, since I've read all of Brandon's published works and Aether, and didn't pick up on any cannibalization going on.
