Mistborn era 1 but not that much

Pewter drag. Means I have A-Pewter. And I'm not enslaved. Plus, pewter is more accessible now, so I can have enough to slowly wean myself off using it. 

Would you rather be able to enter fictional worlds in books and other media, or maybe even your own fan-fic, (Narnia vibes, but it's a bookshelf), or be able to pull worlds into this one, so like I can meet Wayne with his powers and I can still live with my family. (Assume these two powers are balanced, otherwise this post would have more rules than a Catan expansion set).

"Sounds good. Well if you have time, could you maybe help me experiment with using different power sources?" 

"She's that serious? I know your family's noble and patriotic and all, but that's pretty far, even for someone that spent two decades on the front lines." Tria walked around the littered room, grabbing tools off the walls and floor.

"What is that guy made of?" Lylac gasped as the door slammed shut. "What does that weapon do, and what does he mean by 'working on my loyalty'?"

"I helped build that arm," Tria beamed, "and that weapon, that's classified. I know how much you love studying magic but I can't tell you. We need skills like yours though. The Watchers need more magical scholars and technicians, they'll happily take anyone they can find, no matter your age."

"Uhh, she's a... an old friend, that uhh...came over to see how I was doing. And...she might be very helpful for the rebellion," Tria spluttered.

"No," Lylac stated, firm, "I'm not going to meet with the most wanted man in the entire kingdom. I want no part in this...politics."

"The Gevran? When have they ever been involved? They were virtually destroyed only a decade ago, their military is in shambles. The rebels are the real threat to the nation." Lylac turned from Tria's demanding gaze, returning to the weapon that shouldn't exist. "You shouldn't be doing this," she gestured to the device, "and where did you even get these parts?"

I agree, I think it still works, Gevran is an enemy of the entire kingdom, and the rebels are suffering and the Queen refuses to help, so they are forced to fight for resources. They would even be experimenting with magic weapons as a last ditch effort to win on 2 fronts. If you want though, we can continue as if it didn't happen.

I personally like the idea of a war-beaten region fighting for help, and questions on which side is the correct side, or if there is a correct side at all, but that's only my opinion. I think we should keep posts, mostly because I never liked the idea of messing with timelines(it almost never works out in stories), but again if @The Bookwyrm doesn't want the story to go that way, I guess just spoiler the entire post and preface it with "misstep" (please only do this if it hasn't been built on and you really don't like the direction your post went.)

I think it would be good for the rebels to have a legitimate reason, but also make the kingdom not entirely evil. I think it works right now, but it is a tad strange that enough people would revolt during a crisis...in order to...avert a crisis? It could be a specific province(s) that are suffering most are defying the national authority of the Queen, and it's caused internal turmoil and a greater external threat. 

Also a good rule of thumb would be first-come-first serve, just go with whatever is already there, unless you have a really good twist, or it makes absolutely no sense and is utter randomness. 

"A weapon!" Lylac exclaimed. "Surely not...Not for the war?" she whispered,"Magic-based weapons have been banned since the Last Battle, you should know that right?" 

I'm becoming just as bad as her, she thought. "Well, you've been busy at least. Last time I was here I could still see the wall."

Minor Mistborn Era 2 (probably doesn't matter tho)

"So Tria, what meddling have you done today?" Lylac asked, stepping gingerly between the clutter of tools and instruments strewn across the floor.

Lylac walked in her house, feeling more at home than she did at home.

Lylac sighed. "We met 9 years ago, remember? In the springfields? We threw flowers at each other and I missed like a thousand times?" 

Her paranoia could not be normal, Lylac thought. She had always been cautious, but she had never before forgotten her friend's face.
