Best system to pair with Awakening?

It's a tossup between kandra and elantrian for me. Aon-dor is a really versatile art, as well as extremely powerful as long as you have some dor with you. Having awakened objects would only make this more powerful, allowing for both powerful ranged attacks and enough defense, disruption, and mobility to hold ones own in close quarters. (also maybe they could mess with connection and stuff like that on the dor to get more breaths? I'm not certain but that sounds possible.) On the other hand, Kandra are extremely powerful fighters, capable of surviving nearly anything thrown at them, with plenty of tricks up their sleeves. I went with elantrian because they be cool -
Elend for sure, seems like a smart human being who I would vibe with. Sazed is my second choice. I feel like Elend would be the type of person to play LoL but be super supportive of his team and never flame or surrender.

GG! That was really fun. I am definitely playing more of this! Mat, you run this really well, prolly better than some of the other elimination games I have played(sorry Abstrusity if you read this XD). Edit: yall are also one of the best groups I have played with. This is the first elim game I have done on a forum, and it sure does fit it better than discord

Fair, excluding all other factors, that has a 64% chance of happening. That is fairly reasonable, but still a higher chance of you being elim than Mage. Also fair, but again, still more sus than mage. My vote stays.

Sorry I have not posted in a while, I had some tricky school assignments(writing a greek tragedy in like 2 days), but I'm back now. Ok, so I have whittled it down to 2 ppl I am sus of. It is either mage or Araris. Devo, you say that Araris often jumps on trains to close out games(edit: that rhymes), can you give an example of this? What was that logic? Once I receive replies to these questions I will vote. Confirming the cycle ends tmrw and not today. oh shoot it ends in an hour please reply quick EDIT: Until further notice, I will vote Araris. This is mainly because of mage's argument. If Araris convinces me in the next 25 mins, I will consider switching. But I trust devo and mage pretty well rn, and so will vote Araris. @Araris Valerian Please defend yourself. I will say that your advice in PMs is somewhat convincing, but that might just be you being a nice person and helping me out.

Because I need to vote somebody according to Araris, and other ppl think you are the most sus person. I do not agree, I think that Devo is more likely, but I am new and so I do not want to mess anything up. I really should have spectated a game. edit: I am really afraid of messing up this game. I do not want my newbiness to this group to mess things up. edit 2: maybe my fear of messing things up is not warrented, but that does not get rid of it.

What is this about?? Several people have pmed me recommending I vote(like Araris who has pmed a lot of good advice, tysm), but I do not see how it hurts to not vote. Is it just that if you do not vote, you get sussed? I have no clue who to vote for, and I am worried my vote will just mess things up. Should I vote, even if I do not have the best idea of who to vote for? Edit: and now I am also worried that I will mess things up by not voting. Is there something that I am missing, like "if there is below x votes no one gets voted out" or smth?

I am a little confused of who to vote for. I will probably not vote and mostly just participate without voting and watch what people do this game. I have no idea how ppl generally play as village vs how they play as elim. Is there a good sample game I could look at to get better at this?

I am new here, and i have not had time to see Danex's personality and playstyle. I was pointing out that if his playstyle was normally to not make jokes like that, then he would be extremely sus, but if not, then he is not sus beyond average sus on everyone. Does that make sense? Sry if my original post was not clear. Edit: hence why I did not vote Danex. I was trying to find out if this was his normal playstyle or not. Edit #2: Yeah I did not explain myself whatsoever in my original post.

In another elimination group I am in (unrelated to se, and it is on a completely different platform) there is one guy who constantly makes jokes like that. Now idk if that is how you play, but he destroys us when he ends up being mafia bc we do not see him voting random people as sus.

I definitely see where Danex is coming from here Then again, the fact that Danex voted TJ again after apparently voting him the whole of last D1 last game and then turning out to be the elim is rather sus. Do we have access to the previous games elim pm to see if he talked about that there?

Hello all, I am a little confused about this whole "poke vote stab vote sword vote" thing. Is this part of the rules, or just something y'all made up? What are the <> here? Are those updated votes or something? I need to go and do a writing assignment now, so I will be back in a little bit.

This is prolly because the metallic arts are just less in MBE2. It has just died down through the generations. Read it, there is still PLENTY of mystery in MBE2 (BOM spoiler) IMO you should. The characters are well written, the plot engaging, all in all just a good book. While the magic is less, there is still plenty, and these limitations make it quite interesting. Here is someone who shares your opinion, slight spoiler warning I promise it gets better in the second and third books. The first one more sets the scene for the second 2. Definitely less action heavy, but still good imo. -

Ello there! I have been part of the 17th shard discord server, and I wanted to join this forum! I have heard rumors about sanderson elimination games going on here, which was the basis for one of my friends(Abstrusity) Bohemian Earspoon Elimination(yes that is the name of it). I have read nearly all his books(inc. non-cosmere) except for DS(I need to get a kindle) Sunreach(again, need to get a kindle) and Redawn(do you see a pattern yet?), and my favorite book is probably Starsight. I recently reread it in anticipation of Cytonic, and I really enjoyed it. I am in the middle of a reread of SA rn. Super excited to be in this community!
