    I think it would also be reasonable to give up one of the shards we've doubled up on. Preservation, Endowment and Odium. (Though at least with Odium you'd probably want to get the plans.)

    Not my pack of tropes- I don't read cultivation either. I could see that you're cultivating your reputation, and it gives you power. Do write up an explanation of how that works in the cosmere, though. I'm interested.

    oh god after further reading it's one of those stat based magic systems. don't make it stat based.

    Normal space-time curvature, sure. But at least according to the wiki page [Alcubierre drive], it's possible.* It requires negative mass, or some other way of expanding spacetime, but that's within the realm of Investiture shenanigans. The metallic arts could maybe do it. *The drive has so many issues that would make it awful for humans: radiation, inability to stop/control the ship, causality, time dilation, insane heat in the ship itself, etc. Thankfully, though, none of that matters, as nothing as sensitive as humans is coming along. It also violates causality, and theoretically should make another black hole, but extra energy can go to the spiritual realm and disperse.

    I haven't read a webnovel in my life- and I don't intend to start now. From the wiki, the magic is based on something like the probability of something happening? So kind like forgery?

    Yesn't. It's going across all the realms- so the spiritual realm investiture will arrive first (I doubt the star matter matters in the spiritual). The expanding investiture wave there and in the cognitive create an expanding wave of spacetime distortion, compressing the front space, and expanding the back (Alcubierre drive esq), so the physical and cognitive realm matter/investiture moves faster, not instantly like the spiritual realm, but faster than light. Cognitive will arrive in a few hours to days, while the physical realm may take perhaps in the approximation of a few months? At least for physical realm matter, it doesn't really matter, the Shards have perfect reflex times. The waves, though will distract you all pretty hard.

    Not any stronger than bondsmithing. And that's something you can probably do very easily with tones. it would mean I would probably have to learn music, which I don't understand.

    No, not an Alphabet. Like- here's Latin's. It's how you determine the role of the noun in a sentence. Not every language needs a case system- english relies more on pronouns and word order, but it's something to think about. You also have to determine the way that you want to modify verbs. Unless you're doing something strange, you'll need a present, past, and probably a future case. Here's Latin's, for an example. Anyway. For Virtosity's magic system, I'm thinking something powered by tones. Perhaps a system that lets you co-op and consume other shard's investiture?
