    The... Bands of Mourning? They grant all feruchemical and Allomantic powers. We haven't seen the actual force being stored outside of Harmonium- we haven't seen a iron pull stored in a metalmind, but that's not what I'm suggesting. I'm saying the awakened metalmind could just, use their metal. Nightblood can use the surges, as well as grant them, and they're roughly similar.

    They can store the ability to use abilities in nicrosil, and with unsealing or whatever it's called, anyone can use it- even the metalmind itself, I bet, if it was self aware.

    Meh. I'd be surprised if they can't use allomantic metals, given you can store the ability to use Allomancy in a metalmind

    I'm not convinced - Scadrian ships need a steel push boost to take off, and it's no coincidence that the one ship we've seen had an awakened steelmind.

    As the smell of burning flesh fills the swamp air, the body of what appears to be some sort of frog- a very mutated one. Evitar, you recognize this as a Vel-thing, a creature that normally swims between the space between stars, and is native to the elder kingdoms. It's odd to find one past the Elder Seals, as they're not very prone to escape. Perhaps the witch summoned it? Would you like to continue onwards, or turn back and find a boat?

    I'd presume so. Some mechanical, supercharged copper cloud. Maybe it's an awakened coppermind being fed with raw investiture?

    Shallan can only go half into the cognitive realms and come back- If she goes all the way, she's stuck. Realistically, I expect Elsecalling to allow for travel to the coganative realm with others as well as yourself. And maybe, hopefully, true teleportation?

    ROW The three realms are one- the physical, cognitive, and spiritual realm all blend into one. Time is definitely funky here. From the outside, It's a bubble of psedo space-time in the spiritual realm, and from the cognitive and physical it's a great pillar of burning darkness. Imagine that as you will. What it means is that shardic power, and the vessels are there physically, and are well, killable. It's also a perpendicularity, so you could enter it from any of the three realms, then leave it. Inside it is currently the black hole, which caused that whole thing. After a while, the larger phenomenon will collapse to just around the blackhole, but the Taldain system will probably still have scars and wounds.

    I've read up on the law and it's a great idea- except that it's also impossible to actually do. Age verification like, never works. Meta has some facial age estimation tools, but giving meta my face is an awful idea. On the flip side, You don't want to give random companies access to your driver's license, do you? Gaming and messaging platforms are exempt. So discord and this will be fine. Utah.

    Nothing on this world irritates me for than self righteous "pagans," who demand that everyone subscribes to their Orthodoxy. Most aren't pagans, but rather Heathenists, worshipping a reconstructed religion. I saw someone suggest the norse gods don't get jealous, or threaten, or get angry- have they read anything?

    A wholly different person claimed that Pagonism is a set, defined religion, that requires more "effort" than nature walks. 

    HUMAN SPIRITUALITY ISN'T ABOUT EFFORT.

    that's a purtinical, purists belief rooted in religious extremists (typical Christian, because these are usually white Americans)

    YOU CAN'T DISRESPECT YOUR ANCESTOR'S RELIGION BY PRACTICING IT IMPROPERLY. YOU ARE PRACTICING IT WRONG BY VIRTURE OF PRACTICING AT ALL.

    As a person who enjoys comparative  mythology, religious theology, psychology and politics, the people who misunderstand everything about everything while preaching and proselytizing about how they're morally superior absolutely boil my blood.

    Never tell anyone how they should worship anything. Everyone is wrong in unique, intresting ways that are always fascinating.

    Anyway that's my ted talk.
