Attributes
You get five ranks to spread across three attributes: Body, Mind, and Soul. You must have at least 1 point in each rank; if any attribute ever hits zero, you die. You may want to adjust these later, as they will impact other aspects of your character, such as Arcana and your defenses.
To explain what each Attribute does;

Body is well, your body, the logic of the material world, the health of you, the physical skills you possess; it affects your Veshu, Kanda, Sankta, and Rent Essences, and changes how much physical damage you can take. A person with high ranks in this is graceful, strong, and healthy, while a person with low ranks is clumsy, weak, and frail.

Mind is your ability to reason, encompassing what you know about the world, how aware you are of your surroundings, and your capacity to plan; it affects your Sankta, Akash, Dera, Kanda, and Zelva Essences. It affects the number of skill points you receive and your perception abilities. A person with high ranks in this is knowledgeable, able to plan far ahead, and able to use logic and intuition to comprehend what’s happening around them.  A person with low ranks would have difficulty understanding the world around them or planning far ahead.

Soul is your will, specifically how you can project it onto the world around you; it affects your Mespi, Dera, Krin, Zelva, and Rent. Soul affects how much mana you have, luck-based effects, and Spiritual defenses. A person with high Soul ranks is beautiful, charismatic, and confident; things come naturally to them, and they’re frankly just plain lucky. A person with low soul ranks is often unfortunate, shy, and frequently suffers in their social and personal life due to their bad luck. 

Arcana
Arcana is split into two parts: the nine Essences, or elements as they’re commonly known, and the six  Arts. An Essence is the energy that powers a spell, deciding what the magic effects and determining what Attributes it draws on. An Art, on the other hand, is how you use the essence to have your desired effect. To compare to the creative process, Essences are the medium which you use, while Arts are what you actually create using that medium.
