  1. Don't worry about sounding selfish, you don't! Furthermore, you should at least hear that asking for help is a smart thing. Always! Even when it makes you feel insignificant or even stupid for not figuring things out for yourself, it is a smart thing to recognize when you need help. And you already said enough about your situation at home to really justify that. Most times here, you seem just like any other happy poster here, no one would guess the situation you're in. Carrying on like that only shows that you are a very strong person. Still, feel hugged right now. Concerning Lockdowns... I really do not know how the country you live in deals with the pandamic. Mine (Germany) does very poorly. Even though the number of infected persons is skyrocketing, it is all but certain that there won't be another lockdown. The reasons for that are purely political and not at all connected to the overworked healtycare system. A few month ago we had elections and no one dared to do anything out of the fear of losing voters. The new government is completely overwhelmed with all the problems that have to be fixed and so far nothing happens. I'm sorry, I drifted off. My point was that there are some very stupid reasons to delay things like lockdowns and more often than not, politics stand in the way of otherwise good measures to fight the pandemic. At least in Germany. So perhaps a lockdown in your town/country is less likely than it seems. As always, keep your head up! *hug*
  2. The Shattered Plains?
  3. First thing that comes to mind is wood burning. Inexpensive material (untreated wood in the form you like, I prefer breakfast boads (like chopping boards but smaller), some printed designs, carbon paper to transfer the desing onto the wood and a burning kit that costs about 25$ (mine costed about that, but in Germany)). I "learned" that very easy craft in a small workshop at my daughter's kindergarden. The woodburning kits provided there were borrowed from several other mums. I'll add a picture of a breakfast board I did for my little girl. Again, it's really easy to do and the results are surprisingly great.
  4. Maybe some of the infos here can clear it up? https://www.17thshard.com/forum/topic/86996-my-info-on-how-many-times-i-won-the-day-keeps-changing/
  5. The Purelake
  6. Yepp, absolutely not a fan of those Souls-like games. Tried Demon Souls, Dark Souls 2 and Bloodborne and did not get into those games. I have heard a ton of praise for them and I am sure I'll try Returnal soonish, but all in all I don't have the time to spend several hours on an enemy without progress due to the fact that I have 2 kids and not that much spare time to begin with. But if the developers decide to throw in a save-anywhere feature and an easy mode, I'd buy it day 1. I know that the argument is that this would ruin the experience, but the alternative is that a lot of players can not enjoy the game at all. And from what I heard and saw, there is a lot of lore and hidden story that I really would like to see. Even more with George R.R. Martin being responsible for that...
  7. Thanks. And yes, the Reshi Isles! Your turn!
  8. Nope Not Patji's Perpendicularity Not Cultivation's Perpendicularity Not Lasting Integrity 1. This place is not easy to reach. 2. This place is peaceful. 3. This place is not what visitors expect. 4. This place has a mind of its own.
  9. Storms! You are absolutely right! In my defense, I did mean the right place just associated it wrongly with Galladon's hiding place. Anyway, care to take a guess in this round?
  10. Nope Not Patji's Perpendicularity Not Cultivation's Perpendicularity 1. This place is not easy to reach. 2. This place is peaceful. 3. This place is not what visitors expect.
  11. If you manage to find 5 clues that leave only the obsure possibility of pointing to a specific puddle, I'm in! And nope. Not Patji's Perpendicularity 1. This place is not easy to reach. 2. This place is peaceful.
  12. I know! It was the first thing that came to mind when I took a closer look at the places that might be considered "conurbation". Great clues! They were so fitting to the library that I would have given up if it had been wrong. And a really nice choice, the place is an integral part of the story and not some easily missed alley or puddle or something. 1. This place is not easy to reach.
  13. Interesting, but not so surprising. German Wikipedia can be a bit short and... well... wrong in that case. Anyway, I paid my dues, how about answering my question?
  14. I think I got it! Galladon's hidden library in Elantris?
  15. Squinting a bit... The Assassin in White?
  16. Storms, I don't have a clue 'bout either. So I'm gonna guess: Facebook? What's the difference between "a flamingo" and "a flamenco"? Not a trick question, I was just amazed that one of my kids teachers didn't know and want to check if it really might be a hard question... Edit: Wkipedia said Instagram and TikTok. Crem.
  17. Ok, done. Your question?
