  1. "A diary from a soulless who was present when the treaty was being drafted, a few other important documents. I have a friend of mine going through the information right now."
  2. "That sounds fun." Thaidakar adjusted his glasses. "Me and Bookwyrm stockpiled some information from a Worldseer archive."
  3. are those canon pictures? Where'd you find them?
  4. "Hey, Nameless." he had a sip of the burning tea, "it's been... exhausting. I was fairly certain soulless ones weren't supposed to be able to be possessed. I was wrong. Now I have to deal with things trying to take over my sanity. I'm sorry I missed most of the wedding though, or I think I did? I don't know, my sense of time lately has been... less than functional. Enough about me, how've you been?"
  5. General stormlight (row spoilers) General sanderson stuff, no spoilers and one that describes this thread
  6. Kiss Buffalo (the animal), Marry Buffalo (the verb), kill Buffalo (the city) A flagpole, a sword, a chess set.
  7. Thaidakar leaned against the wall of the dance-room. He held a warm mug of tea in his hand, he stirred the honey mixture absently. The look on Calano's face as he danced with Emma, you could tell he would compare this moment to the rest of his life fondly. Calano would wish he could preserve the happiness forever and remember every detail of this moment. But Thaidakar, he didn't want to remember much about this day. For one thing, his head was killing him. For another, every motion was like moving through sludge. Ever second seemed to slow down like eternity. Earlier that day, he'd taken a nap because of it, something in his dream had laughed, "you reject our gift? Well, here's another one." He took a gulp of the tea, the steaming hot liquid burning his throat. His powers kept it as hot as possible, thankfully. If he didn't keep it searing, he'd fall asleep on the spot. He thought about the gift he'd prepared. Hopefully Calano would like it, and hopefully he hadn't rigged it to kill Calano. That was always a risk. Thaidakar sighed and muttered a mental strengthening spell. Perhaps he could try and dance soon, goodness knows he needed to stretch his muscles. Part of him screamed at the idea, last time he'd danced, he'd danced with her. He took another gulp of the tea, dismissing the thought. Why did he keep thinking about her lately? That was ages in the past. Let the past stay in the past. He nodded slowly, trying to follow his own advice. He let his thoughts swirl like the dancers as he took another gulp of the searing hot tea.

They are amazing, Morningtide. Helped me get through today- I'll post an SU about it in a few mins.

    4. Szeth's Facepalm

      Szeth's Facepalm

I totally agree with you about nico :( I just re-read pjo and that part was so sad. but although his character progression is sad in the first series, it's pretty great throughout the whole percy jackson universe. I'm super excited that he’s getting his own series!! He's my favorite character :D

  9. You get a crown with the last slice of pie on it ;-;
  10. we could start a foolhardy war over a simple bush throne with a bunch of thorns.
  11. "Can I see your copy as to fill in the gaps in mine? I suspected there were more than just that one, I'll want to help you out with those if we find them. And no, the wedding hasn't happened yet. I've just been using my study to slow down time exponentially at my very whims. In actuality, it's been about ten to thirty minutes since I got back."
  12. Because Time was relative in TLT, technically infinity had passed since the whole affair had started.
  13. Excuse me, don't you mean the throne you've kept warm for me?
  14. Thaidakar opened his mouth as if to say something about the purple velociraptor, but then decided not to. "I got a lot of info. I used a trans dimensional portal powered by soulless energy and something else. A spark, per se. I got a lot of information using a gadget I used to tinker with, it's become increasingly useful."
  15. Thaidakar rubbed his head, finishing reading the second entry. Now that was interesting, apparently this was from the point of view of a soulless during the time when Calano's and Emma's parents were discovering the pocket dimensions. The soulless in question was apparently named Zavien. He felt Bookwyrm enter the lobby and realized he'd enabled the time warping in his study. He flicked it off and stood up, kicking off his unicorn slippers and walking to the door. He locked the door once he was outside and teleported next to them, expending some of the energy he'd gained in sleeping. "Ah, you've returned? That was a fun adventure, yes? I've been looking through some of the info, it's quite fascinating."
  16. heh, that is what I thought the second I posted that-
  17. Yeah, I'll start working on that next week, so I should have something up by Saturday.
  18. His dreams were more akin to nightmares. Torture, pure pain. Faces swam in his peripheral vision. Voices whispered in unknown languages. And worst of all? The multiverse in chaos, a dark power rising, a secret order killing important people and friends left and right, and in the center, himself, Thaidakar, ordering it all from behind the scenes. Power could be yours, the dream seemed to tell him, you could be the greatest power in the multiverse, this could be yours. Part of Thaidakar wanted it, wanted it with every fiber of his body, but something in him, something deep, something powerful, pushed back. He rolled over in the bed and tried to banish the nightmare. After what seemed like an eternity of failure to sleep, Thaidakar sat up and slid out of bed. He turned on the glow globes and had a drink of water. The computer had a notification on the screen, the downloading was done. He rubbed the sleep out of his eyes and grabbed his glasses off of the shelf. He went and sat down in the cushioned chair at the desk. He tapped the mouse and a vast library of info was open to him in various languages and codes. He selected a small document, a tome in a code that the computer recognized. Thaidakar widened his eyes when he realized what the title was, "A Soul-less' Journal." Thaidakar opened it and sorted through the information. Now this was interesting... very interesting. He adjusted his glasses and prepared to read the first entry.
  19. I am so happy rn, twelve episodes! I thought it was eight and I was so sad. I'm at ep. 3 and
  20. Thaidakar shivered, put a hand on his shoulder where the tendril had stabbed. He healed it immediately. Thaidakar put a hand on his head, he felt a headache coming on. Hopefully this wouldn't effect his already unstable mental situation. He flipped on the defenses of the study and dimmed the glow globes floating around in the room. Thaidakar tapped his wall and a bed extended from the bare space. He crashed not the sheets and put his glasses on a nearby shelf. In moments, Thaidakar was peacefully asleep. His eyes glowed under their lids softly, giving him dreams and nightmares and scary speeds.
  21. Thaidakar slammed his hands together and something moved through the air, making a kind of shield around Thaidakar as he formed the portal. He swiped his hand upwards, sparks forming. He'd gotten enough information to last him a while. This would be fun once he got back to the clinic. The portal opened into the clinic hallway, right in front of his private study. Thaidakar stepped out, readjusting his glasses and sticking the gadget into his pocket. He wiped the sweat off his forehead then opened the brassy colored door. The inside held a desk with various knicknacks on it, a collection of spikes on the walls, various famous paintings, a few magic weapons, a large computer on the desk and a giant archive like bookshelf. Thaidakar sat down at the desk and pulled the device out of his pocket. He stuck a nozzle into the computer and it started uploading the knowledge into the fail-safe computer.
