  1. Sure, I can write it out and have Mythos, EoF (if Nameless will let me), Shadow or Darkness say it sometime.
  2. exactly why he could potentially not have the Great Warrior title. He could be something else entirely. Maybe.. OH CRAP That works so well- Suddenly, Mythos grinned. He stood up, putting the pencil over his ear as he inspected the page, "Well, well... now that could be interesting if I just..." The Legender scribbled something on the side and laughed, "Well isn't that something..."
  3. Platypus doesn't know this, don't make him know this yet, but he isn't the Avenger. He might be the Great Warrior or something else entirely, I'm just discovery writing all of this practically. Mythos grunted as he wrote down the prophesy Shadow had given when he'd died. That... that had not been good... They were, most definitely, in a lot of danger this time.
  4. "Hmm... I don't know about that." And, by coincidence, Thaidakar started rippling, seeming to start turning to dust. "Well... that's interesting." -- "I might try to kill you at one point, maybe monologue once or twice, but I'm not really in the mood right now. Don't mistake me, I'm going to be destroying a good lot, killing a good lot, stealing powers a good lot, but that will happen in time..." Darkness said, adjusting his sleeve. "For now, I'm going to continue my riveting conversation with Yarenhalyon." He turned back to the shimmering patch of air. "Alright," Mythos sat down, writing down all of the prophesies that he knew.
  5. Thaidakar shrugged, "I suppose so, then... I assume that I'll be moving on to what my Author has planned sometime... I don't know, exactly..." "I'll get to that eventually," Darkness said, "Though, I can rip your arm off if that would be more to your liking..."
  6. "Nameless... the World of Dreams isn't the afterlife. Not that I know of, at least..." Thaidakar said, pacing now, getting excited. "This place... this is where we go when we die, yes, but it is not the final destination. Far from it, actually... I never made it there, but... if I can..." He shook his head, "and, besides, if this was the afterlife, I would be a bunch of splintered soul pieces scattered everywhere. This can't be the afterlife. Just an in between." "Yes, well..." said Darkness, looking back at Moni. "I haven't had much practice lately... and, besides, I still only have roughly a quarter of my powers and personality in tact. Thankfully I have my skill intact... I also happen to be a scholar, not just a world dominating force, so pardon me if I want to talk about something that has emerged since my long years of being captured."
  7. @Nameless* look at the edit of my last post. Mythos turned, his lips pressed into a line, "I know. The Darkness has come and we are not ready... And, besides, if you need my help, than you are in desperate straights indeed. I'm just that one guy who barely knew anything about himself one moment and the next he's suddenly the Legend of prophesy and the former king of an ancient kingdom that absolutely no one remembered till yesterday. Platypus, I'll give you the ancient prophesies and what they say to do, but... Foe did something when they died that changed a prophesy fundamentally. anything seems to be subject to change... Do you know what that means, Platypus?" Mythos asked, looking right at him, "Everything we've ever known, everything the Time Keepers ever knew, it could all be wrong and this conflict could go anyway. This could end in any of us dying and any of us surviving. Anything could happen, Platypus, and that scares me."
  8. ah- crap, that's another thing I'll throw in the edit. Forgot some things originally.
  9. Edit: oops- ima add the text "You might have. But in the process you would've ruined what I'd have built up," Thaidakar said, "or so I thought. I will not leave to return their either and- wait, did you say this was the World of Dreams?" Darkness nodded, "Noted. Now, run along, child, the grownups have things to do." And, with that, Darkness turned to a shimmering patch of energy in the air and started discussing animatedly about the economics of Mordite. Mythos was still in the library looking at the prophesy.
  10. your welcome- mmm.. me wanting plot... that seems to be how it goes, innit?
  11. Thaidakar turned, looking taken aback. "I did not realize... Nameless, we have both wronged each other, it seems. I am sorry that I had to kill you, but I will reaffirm my position there. I wanted to kill you, yes, but I could've done it sooner. I only did so with satisfaction because I had a small glimpse of the future. If I had let you continue as you were, you would've learned a valuable lesson, been forced to come on an adventure, and then would have stopped me from giving those who are alive currently the tools to fight Shadow." He shook his head, sitting down on a forming bench, "Yes, I created my own enemies, yes I made the world worse. But..." Thaidakar put his heads into his hands, "It was the only way I could make sense of all of this. Waking up with only a few memories and a vague feeling that I'd just been wronged... Yes, my Author made the world a worse place by adding in more villains and more morality, but, all in all, it would've happened eventually anyways. And... my Author wasn't the only one. 365 added in the Witherlord at one point, if I recall, and there are plenty of other examples out there. "Nameless," Thaidakar said again, looking at him right in the eye, "We can't affect the rest of the world, I think, but we are still here and there are still words to say before we fall into whatever lies next in our adventure. My Author made the world worse, but he made me into the person who can admit when he's wrong. So... Nameless... I was wrong. Wrong again and again and again... over and over. I was wrong about the whole thing with Adonalsium. I was wrong about who I thought you were. I was wrong about how I proceeded with this potentially world ending scenario this time. TLT is horrible in my eyes, but it is also joyous, it is gladness, it is wonder, it is beauty. This place is the reason I exist, this place is the reason I've grown into who I am. You are a part of that. I thank you for that. "I am sorry, Nameless, truly sorry for what I ruined. You helped my story grow. A story isn't a good one without an antagonist... even if that antagonist turns out to become one of their closest friends and allies, and I do regard you as such. We've made many, many mistakes... I don't want our friendship to be gone, even in death. I regret what I did to you now, knowing that I am, indeed, one of the reasons why TLT is as it is now. I also cared because... I couldn't not care about it all. I had to care about all the interesting people, all the places, everything all around. TLT was one of the greatest places ever... I already miss it." Darkness turned, raising an eyebrow, "Is that so? Well... go ahead, I don't have all day."
  12. no that's the Witherlord. Darkness isn't as powerful as the Witherlord precisely, but he also is? It's difficult to explain. you'll all find out in TLT as time goes by.
  13. I won't say what Darkness's power level is, except this: he can beat a lot of people, but not as many as you might think and also not as few as you might think.
  14. lol- ima go edit that. I was just kinda in a rush at that point.
  15. lol, I was soooo confused so I was like "Welp, I'll just roll with it." I'll edit it out with something else to cover it.
  16. Eof hesitated, then said, "Fine. What you need to do is find Mythos and Moniker to learn more. You are the Great Warrior or the Avenger. Whichever one you are, you are key to the prophesy. You must stop Darkness from fighting Spook, otherwise the final events of the prophesy will be keyed into action, forcing all of us to move on its strings. We need to move before we physically cannot. You also need to figure out what the current prophesy is, what has been redacted and what has been added. Darkness is one of the Time Keepers, but he doesn't have all of his powers back yet. While he is still powerful, he needs all of the Shadows killed so that he can be back in his usual form. Kar was a fool to kill two Shadows." Darkness watched with satisfaction.
  17. "Kar..." He shook his head. "Zara's husband. His name choice is ironic, all things considered. Tell me, however, Platypus," Eof said, looking right into his eyes, "If I know everything, why did I have my mind wiped of a very important set of circumstances? Platypus, this is far more dangerous now than anyone realized. Thaidakar was the Herald. Shadow was always the Darkness. Moniker being Name was clear... but..." He shook his head. "I knew some things. I knew some of the prophesies and how some things would go, but some paths were hidden to me, some paths were gone and some circumstances were non existent in my head. Now that I have what I used to know, I don't think that I can offer you good advice when my past self couldn't give myself the right knowledge in time."
