  I know a fair bit about the character, they're just not clicking in the way that most characters do for me and it's so blasted annoying that her current character traits don't make me get a full picture of her as a person.

  That's why I don't outline characters I just write things as I come up with them and that's why my attempts at long-form storytelling are abysmal!
