Thaidakar the Ghostblood

Today has been a rollercoaster. It started out good, it went by pretty well, I made a mistake but overcame it rather quickly. I finished school and it was looking like I would have a great rest of the day.

Then I made another mistake and wound up watching some depressing YouTube vids by accident and wound up in a spiral of "The world is horrible, there is no happiness, why am I feeling depressed?"

Thank goodness for family dinner, though. I'm feeling a good bit better, thanks to that, but I'm still trying to get into a better mood.

Also, Discworld is not what I expected at all. I was expecting a funny Alcatraz style adventure. Instead I got adult Alcatraz mixed with Count of Monte Cristo and Lord of the Rings. Basically, I went in with the completely wrong expectations, so at first I was a little less enthused about it, but I'm getting used to it. I really like the politics sub plot.
