    When you don’t need to look up the order of the Great Houses to see who goes first in Mistborn: House War. (For context, the person who goes first is determined by their House’s ranking in the books. So, House Venture first, House Hasting second, House Elariel third, and so on)

    Velen didn’t have a front to their office. They were busy, and keeping that up would be a lot of work. Instead, they had a secret room in their nice, upper-middle class home, which led into the room where they secured all of their jobs.     Stuff that’s happening:

    1. I just watched the new West Side Story, and it was so good. The choreography was amazing, and the use of color was just *mwah*. If you haven’t already, I definitely recommend it. (I’ll be posting more about it in the Musicals thread probably maybe.)

    2. I finally won a game of Mistborn: House War, after two rather… spectacular losses.

    4. My 1000th post is coming up, and I don’t really have anything planned. I think I know what I’m going to do, but it’s really not going to be anything big. I did that for my 500th.

    “Well, thank you. I didn’t ask you to do anything; I’d have been just fine on my own. But thanks!” Velen didn’t really know why they were lashing out. Khusa had just done something nice for them… But they hadn’t asked him to do it. He’d just done it so Velen would be in debt to him; trust him. He didn’t know that wouldn’t work on them. They’d learned that the hard way, back when they were young. Velen stood up, and started walking toward the door.
