Morningtide

Overall, it was really, really good. but I thought they screwed up the ending kind of a lot actually. For one, we didn't get white hair Alina and she kept her powers. Instead of losing her powers, Mal broke up with her and became Sturmhond, which was lame and didn't make sense. Then, they did the whole scene from Crooked Kingdom where Kaz gives inej her own ship and she says the "without armor or not at all" line, but they didn't actually give her her own ship. The delivery of the line was amazing and I got chills and the actors are both amazing, but the writers apparently decided that Inej doesn't get her own ship, she just goes with Mal on his ship. THAT'S LAME YOU GUYS. 

Also apparently now Nikolai doesn't suddenly turn into a demon, he is just undergoing a slow transformation into one? I think? It's very unclear and that's sad. 

They foreshadowed the ice court heist tho so that's awesome!!! But Inej is away on a ship so are they doing it without her? I wouldn't like that. 

So it was generally amazing and fantastic and I love all of the characters to the depths of my soul. But the end was a bit disappointing. *shrug*
