  1. Remembrance is confused, shocked, and unsure about this new thing. It did something new, and it was not sure how! Thoughts from Craven continue to fill Remembrance's head, and Remembrance begins to feel a new emotion: anxiety. This is very new, and Remembrance does not like it at all. It feels Craven's pain, which magnifies its own anxiety tenfold. Suddenly, it feels sympathy. Remembrance follows Craven into his cabin, and hesitantly reaches out toward Craven's cognitive light. It is again unsure of what will happen, but Remembrance does not like this new pain filling its head. It touches Craven's light, and is flooded with memories. It cannot sort through any of the memories, so it decides to keep its hold on the light. It pushes its own anxiety away, which is slowly replaced by... >curiosity!<
  2. Remembrance touches the light, unsure of the result. ... It is confused. A lack of result! Confusion! It touches the light again, this time pushing against the veil separating it from this little life. ... Nothing. It is even more confused, and beginning to become frustrated. Remembrance touches the light again, swiping through its incomporeal form with increasing frustration. Finally, it reaches out towards the nearby storm of energy, not really realizing or understanding what it was about to do. It latches onto the energy, finding it very similar to its own life force. It draws in the energy, and then reaches towards Craven's cognitive self. It pushes. ... Connection! A name enters its mind: Craven. Remembrance leaps back, shocked and surprised, its mind filling with things that were not familiar.
  3. Remembrance feels a sudden resonance of disappointment. After a bit of confusion, it is finally able to pinpoint the origin. It approaches one of the new lives, Craven, represented here by a wisp of light.
  4. Crossing the veil between universes was a bit harder than Remembrance expected, but it was not afraid. It was excited! This was a new thing, a wonderful thing. It would experience new things because of this new thing. This new thing would let it see more, let it remember more. Suddenly, Remembrance met resistance. Resistance? Well, the veil's purpose was indeed to resist such travel, but Remembrance could provide its own resistance. It pushed, and soon the veil parted, allowing it to pass through. Remembrance felt life. No, multiple lives. Enriched lives. New lives. New lives! It sought out the life, but instead of finding the life, it found an ocean of beads, lights, and a strange new rock. The lives it sought where nearby, but on a plane not accessible to Remembrance. It was disappointed. It decided to explore its new surroundings, and after a quick glance, it found a storm of energy. This storm made it remember its own energy, its own life force. Excitement!
  5. Colors, such hard questions all around. I really love Elantris and Warbreaker (I know they're not series yet, I'm sorry lol), but I think I would have to pick Mistborn, if only because I really want to see Feruchemical/Allomantic starships. (And fabrial starships, for that matter.)
  6. Oh, that's a hard one! Hmm... In all honesty I must say that I appreciate all of Mr. Sanderson's characters, because I feel that he invests (pun intended) all of his writing capability into each and every character he writes. Sure, there will always be those characters that cause frustration or even hate, but I always find myself loving them at the same time. The fact that Mr. Sanderson can forge such unique and wonderfully detailed characters, to the point where it invokes both love and hate simultaneously, creates a big problem for myself in that I find that I cannot truly hate any of his characters. For the sake of politeness, I will try my best to answer your question anyways.
  7. Thank you, I am glad to be here. I have loved browsing through the various forum posts, reading the interesting ideas that people have, and observing the enthusiasm that people have for the Cosmere. I feel like I'm returning from a battle, with friends and family standing up to greet and welcome me home.
  8. Hello! You may call me Echo, as my real name is forbidden from mortal tongues. I have been on the 17th Shard for a few months, and it just now occured to me to introduce myself! My manners are very refined, as you can tell. On another note, I am very excited to have officially joined the 17th Shard. I have read most of the Cosmere books, all but volume two and three of White Sands, and I am Beyond excited to read the future Cosmere books. I am proud to say that I have brought many new people to the fold, and plan to continue to introduce people to the Cosmere. I consider myself to be pretty Cosmere aware, but I also recognize that there are plenty of people a lot more knowledgeable and observant than I am. I am always excited to meet and talk to such people, and any Cosmere fan in general!
