I’m back, I kinda forgot all about this in the chaos of my personal life. Who’s excited for Stormlight 5 in December?!

This past Tuesday (May 30th, 2023), I received my mission call.

I will be serving as a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Lansing, Michigan Mission for 18 months (which is about a year and a half), beginning August 14th, 2023 

For those who might not know what a missionary is or what a mission entails, it’s basically where the missionary – in this case, me – will basically put everything about my life right now (such as schooling) on hold and devote 18 months to serving God and those in the area I’ve been assigned to.

I will be doing things such as proselytizing, and also general service like helping people with yard work or other assorted activities if it’s required of me. I will not be active on any of my social media accounts (except maybe my personal Facebook that basically no one on here knows, depending on what my mission president [my boss, basically] says), including the 17th Shard even tho I’m not particularly active on here in the first place lolll.

I will be trying to keep a emailing list where I will send out emails about what I did the previous week at least once a week. If any of you want to be on that list, feel free to PM me on here (of if y’all have my Discord, do that) since I don’t want y’all to just give your personal emails on a very public website.

I’m very excited, and I also have very little time to prepare, but I know that it will be worth it.

But yeah :)) Y’all have me for a limited amount of time before I am gone for 18 months to serve the Lord.

Me updates:

• I've been in bed literally all day because I just got my covid booster and boy does that sucker punch. (Heh. Geddit - sucker punch)
• While in bed literally all day I watched an insane amount of Grian's Hermitcraft compilations (all of his Season 6 "Best Bits") and continued my 100% Hollow Knight Steel Soul speedrun (currently at about 6 hours and over 77%)
• What's the deal with waiting for the last second to get people christmas presents? Seriously, I have no idea what to get my friends.

Aight, a few things.

Today was... kinda rough. 

I did a bunch of math wrong and had to redo it (and then there was a bunch I didn't redo- but who cares-) and it was taking forever, I was a lil bit stressed. Then I realized what was wrong and redid it and it went SO MUCH FASTER. Like, yeah. I finished about half an hour ago. 

I was a bit stressed and had a huge headache (which is thankfully gone) today. Me and my sisters hand more arguments as usual. 

I am ready to relax and just rp with y'all.

On a happier note, I won the day yesterday! Yay!

A few days ago I ordered a new laptop since this one is falling apart. It's peach/gold colored and is smaller. I'll hopefully be able to use it better. I also ordered a humongous amount of books, about thirty something. I'll get more if I still have money left. I got Heroes of Olympus, Keeper of the Lost Cities, The Kane Chronicles and the Alcatraz books. I'll be getting them sometime in the next week, hopefully in two or three days now.

I know this happens every month-ish but did any of y’all watch mcc yesterday?

While I did not forget it was my Shardiversary today, I wasn't going to post anything about it.  Well, no more!

It's pretty wild that I've been on here for two years, and I'm a hundred posts shy of three thousand.  When I first joined, I saw people like Nath and Xino who had high post counts, and I thought 'ain't no way I'll ever get there'.  And I kinda haven't, but I've said nearly three thousand things on here.  That's a lot of things.

Anyway, quick Kindness round up!  In the two years on here I've:

• Learned I'm a sappy romantic
• Participated in more release hype then I ever had before (Rhythm of War, oh yeah!)
• Had more fun with my writing than I have in a long time
• Wrote poems!  That might actually be good!
• Had my nickname morph from Kindness to Sprennie (not complaining, I really like Sprennie!)

I'm not going to tag anyone, since I don't have enough words to say everything.  But thanks to everyone who made the last two years so fun, and here's to two more!

So ummm………..

I’ve been inactive lately but there is a reason. 
 

I decided that I should go and watch it. So I did. And I watched the entire first season in a day. Then I slowed myself down, and started watching two-ish episodes a day. So, in the time I would normally be on the shard I’ve been watching it and texting my friends who enjoy the show as well.

I just started the fourth season last night and it’s super goooooood!!!

I don’t want to post another update but, I have like 50 notifs so if I missed anything important could y’all tell me? 

Composing “Never Enough” from The Greatest Showman into a minor key is easy and difficult at the same time.

Prom's today, I'm going stag, and so my friends, Vapor, and I went to savers for a "day date". It was a PARTY. 

Also, I got an odd1sout hoodie that should be like $40 for $5 instead. 

And $80 worth of books for less than $20.

I was so excited, y'all, savers has fabulous deals.

HEY GUYS! I'm back baby! I was muted for a comment which I regret dearly. I won't go into details except that I'm sorry. now for other things, I see there is a new version of Doomie here, @CalanoCorvus I like your new username, nice! I got 110 notifs while I was gone, a week and a few days, I mean come on! Beat that @Sequence! speaking of sequence, WELCOME BACK!!!

Im not going through all those notifs lol. can people please tell me if anything important happened that I should know about? 

Another thing, my new worst enemy is protractors. apparently I've been using it wrong for a long while. I was extremely pissed when I heard it. 

I watched avengers endgame. love it so much! it was an amazing ending to the infinity saga. I watched two episodes of wandavision, like it. 

I don't think there's anything else to say, except maybe that I started working on a book I mentioned before as a "secret project" that I won't tell you anything about besides the fact that I wrote a killer prologue that is seven pages long. the book is going to be amazing.
