EmLee woke up and looked around. Looks like she fell asleep in her clothes again. Huh. She summoned some Starlight and elongated her dress, changing it into a silky nightgown. She took off her boots and dismissed her Starlight-formed socks. She then laid back down and fell asleep again. -
EmLee followed and went in the tent. She laid on the army-issue cot and fell asleep.

“Nice to meet you, too!” EmLee took the herbs and put them in her mouth. “Thanks. Is there anywhere I can rest?”

EmLee sat up. “l’m feeling okay-ish, but I just feel tired and I have a slight headache. No, I don’t think there’s anything you can do. I’m EmLee, by the way- Enter’s little sister.”

EmLee slowly opened her eyes to find a stranger’s face looking down at her. ”That was worse than the time I got caught in a highstorm on our vacation to Roshar,” she said groggily.

EmLee screamed and stumbled back. She felt drained. No, more than drained. She put a hand to her head and collapsed. ”Well, that wasn’t how I imagined my first adventure to go.” Then she passed out.

As EmLee reached the dyrling, she held out the Starlight to the monster’s head and tried to push it into it’s brain.

“Thanks! Start running… NOW!” EmLee sprinted in the direction of the Dyrling.

EmLee closed her eyed and put on a look of concentration. Suddenly, a white ball of light grew in EmLee’s hand. She opened her eyes. ”I just need to press this into the monster’s head, and I should be able to influence it’s thoughts. Any idea of how to get me over there, without dying?”

“Probably. But it’s worth a shot, right?”

“Uh, maybe if I got close enough, I could put some Starlight in it and make it stop being monster-ey.”

EmLee stood up and turned to her older brother. “I’m here to help you on your adventures, of course! And back when you made your backpack I snuck an emergency teleporter in there in case I needed you.” EmLee wore a simple yellow dress that went down to her knees, along with bright blue leggings and stylish- but practical -leather boots. She had on rose-red glasses that had a slight cat-eye shape to them. Her brown-red-gold-but mostly brown hair was in two Dutch braids that reached her mid-back. “So, what can I do to help?”

EmLee fell out of Enter’s backpack into the sky for a few seconds before falling back down on to Enter’s head.

I went inner-tubing for the first time on Saturday and I fell in the lake only once. It was fun.

What happened when you take the “r”s out of literature?

Also, fireworks are unicorn bombs. Why they have never succeeded in abducting me, I’ll never know.

I may not be able to come here to the Shard as much as I’d like because I usually use my school chrome book, but we have to return those on Wednesday.
I guess I’ll just have to get used to using my mom’s old phone that is now a communal kids phone for me and my siblings.

(I'm at one of the very first stages of making it so the only thing Harry-Pottery is the penciled-on design... I'll post a picture when I actually get around to finishing it.) Also I forgot to mention I go around in Roblox dressed as Harry Potter characters screaming random spells. I mostly do this in a game called Adopt Me where I can have a flaming marshmallow on a stick and say, "INCENDIO!" Also-also, what do you all think would happen if a witch/wizard put a marshmallow on their wand and cast the Incendio spell? -

I dub myself as the Shard's Biggest Potterhead's Apprentice because I have read the series 4.5 times, I have around four homemade wands, I have Ravenclaw pajamas, Ravenclaw playing cards, a Hermione wand that you can actually cast spells, I have a lot of HP lego sets and am saving up for he $400 Hogwarts Castle Lego set, I painted a rock with the colors of the four Hogwarts houses, and the only reason I stopped re-re-re-re-reading the series is because I was introduced to Brandon Sanderson. I really want to learn all those weird tidbits of HP lore and become the Shard's Biggest Potterhead! (Also, I am making a Harry Potter punch-needle pillow.) -

A couple of weeks ago, I found out that we are doing a class read of a novel in third period with two other classes. There were three candidates: Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo, Fellowship of the Ring by J. R. R. Tolkien, and [Drumroll please...]

For the next while, I brought my copy of Skyward to school, shared hilarious Spensa quotes, and made people vote for Skyward. When my teacher put out the Google Form for the vote, I was really exited. I kept recruiting people to my side, and the winner was finally released.

The winner was released on Friday or Thursday last week, and me and my family went on a vacation to visit family over Memorial Day weekend, but we had to (sadly) miss school (Where they would start reading the book) yesterday in account for us driving back home. I brought Skyward with me so I could read it on our drive.
BUT
When we were packing to go home, I could not find Skyward anywhere.
This really scared me because, in my opinion, books have the equivalent worth to diamonds.
When we got home and eating dinner, I suddenly remembered something. Sometime during our trip, I put my book in the front pocket of my backpack. I tried not to get my hopes up, but when I opened my backpack, there it was.
Today at school, three classes read part of Skyward and was introduced to the wonderful world of Sanderson books.
I'm just so elated.
