    Oh my gosh. On the very first D&D campaign I was a part of, my first 2 rolls were both ones. 4

    I rolled a 17 to hit, but can add 1 to that if the rat is within 30ft of me. So I assume I rolled an 18.

The ladder keeps shaking, as if something is knocking against it. I don't know what is down there, and don't intend on climbing down until I know what it is." I say, still somewhat panicked.

    I'm just watching this go down at this point (due to the fact that I am both dead and useless), and it is extremely entertaining.
