    Yay! I run to my room, grab my crossbow and short sword, and run back to the basement.

    "Nope." I reply. "I am very much not. Anyway, I'm going to go get my crossbow now." I run back up the stairs in an attempt to get out of the basement before it is locked again.

    I look up, surprised. "Wait, who're you?" I say. I begin to go up, wanting to grab my crossbow.

    She hasn't gone down the ladder/stairs yet. She will not go down without her crossbow. It's like a good luck charm for her. And, you know, a weapon. (Her weapon of choice, actually.)

    I curse extensively in Auran, before pausing and trying to figure out if going down is a bad idea or not.

    "Alright!" I say. "Gimme a few minutes, and I'll start."

    "Okay. I can deal with some rats. How much are you paying?" I ask, getting ready to go up to my room.

    "Heck yeah!" I say immediately. "What's the job?"

    I smile, and leave, heading back to the Inn with my herbs.

    I nod, and pull out the 6 gold pieces.

    Okay. I grab a few that I know I can afford.

    "Thank you!" I walk over, scanning the herbs.

    I smile sheepishly. "Sorry. I just got a bit distracted. Do you have medicinal herbs?"

    "Wow. That's awesome!" I say, looking back at Jerry.

    I turn. "The plant's name is Jerry? What kind of plant is it?" I ask, legitimately curious.

    I stare at that one, feeling slightly disturbed.

    I look at some of the suspicious plants with interest.

    I start browsing the stuff in the shop.

    I pause for a moment before walking in.

    Thank you for the clarification. I didn't know if it was a 3.5 term I didn't know, or if I was being dumb, or what. I sigh, as the town seems almost boring. But I head into one of the nearby shops. (You can choose which one. )

    ...The what? I walk around the town, getting an idea of where everything is.
