"Me!" Called Mallory. She was still in the armory.

Shade thought for a moment. I had wished there was another option for me. Why can't I give her one? "Hey Janice, you can work with me for a while if you want." she said softly. "I know what it's like to feel like you are going to end up hurting those around you. You don't have to feel obligated to, but if you want to work with me, my door is always open."

"I HAD NO CHOICE!" She roared. "IF I DON'T GET CERTAIN DEBTS PAID, MY 5 YEAR OLD SISTER WILL DIE! THEY ALREADY KILLED THE REST OF MY FAMILY. I CAN'T LOSE HER TOO!" She stalked back to her hotel room.

"Which was one of those situations I was talking about. Do you have even the slightest clue how dangerous some of the criminal organizations are? I was given a bounty, and I didn't know who had given it. If I ignore stuff like that, I could end up dead. Or worse, my younger sister..." Her voice cut off in her throat, and she forced down tears. "Besides, you should be glad I was the person who kidnapped her. Do you really think anyone else would have let her go? Much less been as gentle as I was!"

Shade raised an eyebrow. "Do you understand the exact circumstances of the event you're talking about? And I also mean what led up to it. Sometimes, life gives you two bad choices. You don't know what was going through her head. Don't judge her."

Camelia took a deep breath, and started trying to fight the Dakhor monks. Did it HAVE to be the Dakhor monastery? It could have been the Ghajan monastery, or the Fjeldor monastery, or the Rathbore monastery. But NOOOOO. It HAD to be the Order of Bone. She didn't even try to use her soulcaster, as she knew that many of them were unable to be harmed by investure. She used all the speed and strength she had in her, and was unable to take down a single monk. Well, at least I'm not dead. -
Camelia gasped, eyes wide with horror. She took an involuntary step back. She was literally shaking from fear. "Dakhor monks." she whispered. "This is really, really bad. We have to save the Elantrian before they sacrifice her." Her face was pale, and she was obviously terrified.

"The definite best are the stormlight archive books. I'd have to go with mistborn being the next best. They are all really good. I can now guess major plot points in movies, and in books he didn't write."

"Later, I'd appreciate it if you told me more, but I don't think we have time right now. It seems way too complicated." "Well they had to be stopped." She said bluntly. "It's worse to let them keep murdering innocent people who are just trying to live their lives."

How could you travel through the stars? What about gravity? And there are that many other worlds? "Wow." She said, awed.

"Why?" She then realized that she might know what he was talking about. "Oh." Awkward... "And as I just said, there are more than just the Cosmere books."

"Who's the Queen?"

"Huh." She wrote that down. I guess that answers my questions for now...

She, being Ladashwy, took notes. "Okay. That's good to know." She looked at some of the notes she had taken during earlier conversations. "What's a Spren? What does it do? How are you supposed to get to other worlds? On how many known worlds is there sapient life?" She forced herself to stop asking questions. She had too many to be asked all at once.

"Yeah, I'm still good with joining." She then turned to Orb. "We're going to have to figure out this whole oath thing."

"Uh, okay then. What is the Cognitive Realm, and what the rusts has been happening in it that I don't know about." This was thoroughly confusing her.

"Oh!" She said happily. "He has many different series. There's his stand-alone books, elantris and warbreaker, there's the mistborn series Era 1, and the mist born series Era 2, and then there is this series, and it's called the stormlight archive. These are all supposed to happen in the same universe, so the books have this one character named Hoid, or as you saw him in here, Wit. There are also series outside of the Cosmere, there's the rithmatist and it's eventual sequal, there's the alcatraz vs. the evil librarians series, and then there's the one I'm talking about, and that's the reckoners series. All of his published books are in my suitcase in my hotel room, except the way of kings and warbreaker, which I have with me."

"Yeah. But book 3 hasn't come out yet. And there is a book of his that is supposed to come out on the 6th. It's in a totally different series." She paused. "Oh wait. My book is in my hotel room. Dang it."
