OK, let me try this out. So she’s on a ruby chair and with normal conjoined Fabrial Mechanics, you move one ruby up, it moves the ruby chair up—but completely stationary. Then you touch it with aluminum and now it’s only vertically connected with the other ruby. You can push the chair around laterally...?

Can someone explain to me how aluminum is allowing lateral motion in her chair? I don’t reallly get the whole system behind the chair, the fourth bridge or Kaladin’s Captain America fabrial. The aluminum makes the spren flee to a side... and I don’t understand how that makes the chair move laterally.

Here’s a thought. What if the fifth wind runner oath takes them into the purview of the sky breakers. They share a surge, it could make sense. Specifically, what if the fifth oath is “I will seek justice for those whom I cannot protect”. Moash no longer seems like a threat (although side note he also seems like an excellent hemalurgy candidate). Does his handicap now excuse him from justice? Is his handicap adequate justice? And here’s another thought, honorspren do seem to be all about form if not function of justice re: Adolin’s bleeding long trial plot line. It could be interesting to see szeth and kalafdin meet at level where they have both become the law.

It would be just like Sanderson to show us the weakness in a blended, ambivalent shard... suggesting that we the reader should incorrectly assume a sweeping generalization that therefore a vessel/shard inner conflict is always a weakness.

I think it means she won’t be elevated to godhood. I don’t know how she will get put in this position or when, but cultivation is a god of progress and growth—so this is the only thing I can figure. What do you think?
