It’s gonna be Adolin. So I feel like the blending of these two gods is inevitable as foreshadowed by Sazed’s suggestions (in the captions) about his own weakness due to the dueling natures of being both preservation and ruin. So when the duel of champions inevitably ends in Dalinar’s defeat, I think that Adolin kills Taragangian and ascends to BOTH honor and passion and that this! is why Sanderson had Adolin kill Sadius—to establish him as not *entirely* a representative of honor. Also I feel like Hoid will come to the conclusion that a weaker 1 god of Roshar is preferable to the alternative and will push for this conclusion. Also, I don’t 100% think that this is the end for Adolin because I just don’t think Sando would separate him and Shallon forever. But I do think that this could be the story arc that takes us through the planned 10 year narrative interim. Opinions?

What kind of radiant spren? Different how?

So what do soulcasters look like in the cognitive realm? Dead eyes? Maybe deadeye inkspren? How has Shallon, Navani, and/or Jasnah not thought to take a quick peek at one of their world’s biggest mysteries?

There’s definitely something more threatening if formless is male, and it does line up with the science behind alters. But is the gender continuity there?

Formless is definitely referred to as male in the book, but if I understand correctly, is implied female at the end as it’s actually just Shallan. Typo or intentional?

Anybody else notice in chapter 45 that Eshonai says she knows the song of making paper? Did we know this was a thing? She can’t possibly be soulcasting in a singer kind of way....can she? At the same time I can’t believe she’s just “whistling while she works.” Opinions?
