  1. Ji nodded, taking in the bit of information before he answered. "Thank you kindly, Ellis," he said, smirking. "Now for my end of the deal: The Death Angels will be meeting in the Washdor Plaza. I, Ji Natio, will be there, as well as Kalter Junge, David Brown, and of course, Finnick Wilder." He sat back down on the arm of the sofa, waving to the door. "You are free to leave, but remember that this will not be taken lightly." Ji gave Ellis a devilish smirk. "But do be a dear and give my regards to your girlfriend, why don't ya?"
  2. "I know, I know," he chuckled, rolling his eyes a bit. "Anyways, your answer?"
  3. "Didn't think that she was in the romantic game," he said, half-joking to himself. Ji took a second to think, before looking to Ellis. "Last question: She's still in the city?"
  4. "'Was'?" Ji asked, raising an eyebrow. "Do you have an idea where she is now?"
  5. That could've been a disaster. >.> "The Angel of Death?" Ji finished the sentence, hopefully getting it correct. "If we're talking about the same person, then understand that I need to know where she is. Better yet, who she has killed recently."
  6. Actually, no. I was talking about Q, lol. Ji raised his eyebrow at the man. "Are you sure about that? If I remember correctly, you have a very important friend on the line right now and it would be a shame if you were to forget the information that I needed so that you can free that friend."
  7. "Dark blue." Ji tilted his head at Ellis again, smirking slightly. "You know her?"
  8. "Ah, she must be going by a different name." He cocked his head at him. "She's a young women, obviously. She has short dark blue hair, but she once had it longer at some point in time. Her eyes look like they pierce your soul. They're blue, almost like sapphires in the sunlight. Often mutters to herself like she some sort of madman, but she's probably one of the most sane people out there." Ji gave Ellis a half shrug. "Ring any bells for you?"
  9. He narrowed his eyes at Ellis. "I'm not talking about Arthur; I'm talking about the Angel of Death." Ji rose an eyebrow at him. "I'm sure that you've at least met her."
  10. "You want information, and I want information." Ji looked at the man expectantly. "I'm certain that you at least know about what who I'm going to say."
  11. "Took... his power away?" Q thought about it for a second, then shrugged. "Well, at least it's not the weirdest thing I've ever seen." She pursed her lips. "Better question: Why did you do it?" Ji nodded, not saying anything as he thought. He paced for a moment as he considered his options. Ji looked up at Ellis. "Alright, I'll help you," he said, "but on one condition."
  12. Right as I was drawing k-pop Zuko lol. Ji nodded, understanding appearing in his eyes. "I see," he whispered. For a moment, thoughts passed through his eyes as he waved his hand in the air, swatting an imaginary fly. "This friend important to you?" "What do you mean... gone?" Q rose an eyebrow at the child.
  13. me who is already has too much on my hands rn I mean, I'll do it if needed lol.
  14. Ji smirked. "Knew there was a reason." A thoughtful look appeared in his gaze as he tapping his chin. "Lemme guess, you were found out the Mafia in some way and they're holding your friend hostage, as you have said, and they want... oh, going to go off a limb here, some locations from us..?"
  15. Ji shook his head, chuckling. "You're still trying, aren't ya?" He tilted his head at the man. "Strange that the Mafia only works in this city, and yet you're 'pretty new' here. I admire your guts, but I'm not sure if you have what it takes, man." He got up from the armchair, taking a step towards Ellis as he leaned forward a bit. "The door is over there," he said, waving towards the inviting outdoors. "I suggest you make good use of it, or convince me without lying of how much you can be a 'good use' to us."
  16. Ji raised his eyebrow, perhaps looking a bit surprised, then laughed. "You expect me to believe that, Ellis? When you just came from the direction where the Parvis Dolor Ira Populo has been last seen, I think that you're in league with them. After all," Ji said, leaning forward again, his eyes bright. "Why would you come to me when you are 'new to the city'?"
  17. "The pleasure is mine. Now," he said, leaning back a bit. "Why are you looking for us? Didn't the Angel of Death warn you of us, or something else..?"
  18. "Haven't you figured it out?" He spread his hands out, the smirk still playing on his face. "Ji Naito, one of the most powerful underbosses of the Dark Angels, at your service, Ellis."
  19. The young man's smirk grew larger. "Apparently you're not bright enough to figure out that I was using a manner of speech, Ellis." He rose his eyebrow. "Although you have a point; you are older than me, but I don't think that you have the same amount of experience as I do."
  20. Oh frick, I forgot. Forgive me. Q followed Gerald up the stairs, saying nothing as they walked up. "That's new," she muttered. The young man threw his head back and laughed. "Boy, you're not the brightest of the bunch." He smirked as he looked back at Ellis. "Thought you would have figured it out by now."
  21. "You could say that." The young man sat on an arm of one of the armchairs. He rested his elbow on his knee, leaning forward. "Now tell me what you want with me, Ellis."
  22. In the building, it appeared to be a lobby of some kind. There were a few people in there as they walked in, sitting on the sofas and armchairs. They all seemed to be at peace, but as soon as the young man showed himself into the lobby, the people froze then showed themselves out of the lobby. The young man sniffed, then pulled off his hood to reveal raven black hair. He let out a breath then waved over to one of the armchairs. "Make yourself comfortable," he said, remaining standing.
  23. The young man gestured for Ellis to follow, then entered into the nearby building.
  24. The young man glared at Ellis from underneath his hood. "That's what they all say," he spat. The young man took a glance around, then nodded to a nearby building. "We can talk in there."
  25. "Not here," the young man said briskly. "They'll hear and trace it back to either you or to the Mafia that you're taking this job from."
