    "None are worthy. None are Significant enough." The guardian responded, swinging the blade in two long arcs, advancing towards Malevolence with each step. Off to bed now

    "Yes yes yes." Desolation smirked. "I believe you have something that will, one day, belong to me. Would you agree, Rebus?"

    The Guardian let the darkness sweep over him, clearly unaffected. His pale green fire enveloped his off-hand, and then he slammed it into the ground, creating great geysers of the lime flames.

    "That's not an option." Ribbon said, and then giving one last smile, she brought her water over Malevolence. It was a portal to another dimension, another plane. Standing before Malevolence was the one person that Ribbon had never seen defeated. The Guardian of the Plotblade of Plot Significance. He spoke in an ominous voice. "Malevolence. You have commenced the challenge for the Plotblade." A dome of pale inferno erupted from the Guardian, setting the arena constraints. He pointed the massive Plotblade at Malevolence, clearly waiting for him to make the first move. "It will take some digging. I will work on that."

    "There is a weapon sharper than the sharper blade. That weapon is Rebus' past. Target his author by reminding him of the cringe he used to post, and you may find it very effective." Rirrom said. "Narrator Rebus, isn't it?" Desolation formed in complete form, with Foreshadowing in his hand. "Complete Antagonist. Congratulations, Narrator."

    Rirrom stumbles out of a portal, dazed. "I cannot aid you in combat. But I give my best wishes." "That's a great help." Ribbon said. "I don't know who that voice is, but I'm going to choose to ignore it." He always is. In the shadows, Desolation watched. He remembered when Rebus was just a young boy! Ha! Look at how quickly he grows up.

    She waved her hands, and the drones were shattered into pieces. Bullets and lasers tore through her aqueous wings, but never hit. Her wings reformed, and she gathered more water. Her water started gathering in a massive swirl. "Malevolence," she said, speaking directly to him, "I will give you one chance. Leave us be or I will have you removed."

    "Not everything is about you, sir." She didn't attack first. Malevolence would have to do that. She mentally prepared herself. Very well. Moment said. I shall remain dormant in your possession until the time is right. "Yes." Ribbon flickered for a second. "How strong would you say the Guardian is, based on your duel with him?"

    What I want to do is bring Malevolence into a fight he can't win, Ribbon communicated, knowing that Malevolence was probably listening. I don't have a plotblade myself, I think, but I know a few people who might. For what?

    Can a Plotblade fight against a Mordite weapon? She noted how Fog eliminated the infection. That was something she'd need to... account for...

    Rebus prime. The blade communicated, and in exchange, you will have my aid in battle, when it most matters.

    You. Or perhaps, more fittingly, the first Rebus there ever was.

    I don't really know how he works at all. Maybe I'll quickly test some stuff. Cleansing water seeped into Fog, pushing away the darkness. Careful, careful. They ripped right through an illusion. The drones couldn't turn around before a vortex opened up in the sky and swept them away. Ribbon descended from a column of water, then absorbed it into herself and formed wings. She couldn't beat Malevolence in a fair fight, but... Fog, how are Plotblades in comparison to Mordite? Enjoy! Water seeks to defend Alli, and to aid her every move.

    The water doesn't drown him. It merely contains him, isolates him. "I have an idea. What if we tricked him into attacking someone super powerful? Like, say, R-E-B-U-S?"

    I described it once. I don't remember how, but it was character events or something like that. It's a Plotblade AND a narrator, but mostly sleeps, waiting for its time to shine again. "Wait. Are you sure?"

    You... you are The Antagonist, aren't you? Moment asked rhetorically. The blade suddenly dropped from Rebus' hand, no longer held in place. That means I cannot hurt you. You do not align well with me, I believe. It is much better that you bring me to someone that does.

    Ribbon... she twirled past the two spears and into a pose, ending with a pulse that changed the terrain into a sandy desert. Her water rejoined her and formed something different. Sheet music. Her own ever-building tone surrounded her and isolated herself, letting her focus for a second. Waves. Black axe. He's a proxy, isn't he? Something else. Her water formed into a thousand arrows, which fired into Malevolence. Just for good measures too, she made a... backup. 9/10mmHB has it completely metaphorically wrong. The water itself simply didn't change. "You're a narrator, Fog!" Ribbon whispered to her. @NameIess A portal opens up near Subversion. "Ah. It's good to see you again, friend."

    The water resisted the cut of the HB pencil. It was pure water, after all. A waterwall erupted all around 9/10mmHB#2 and surrounded it, containing it without a single thought from Ribbon.

    Ribbon glared at Malevolence. Her... narration was half as strong. That's right. She glanced at Fog, and then closed her eyes and started to create pure water. It surrounded her, protecting her, feeding her, letting her live. But to Malevolence, the Water was as deadly as a volatile chemical. Pure water flooded through her, and waves crashed down on Malevolence. The Plotblade started draining something out of Rebus. It was uncanny, but it also prevented it from being released. You think you can just kill MY WIELDER? The blade screamed into Rebus' mind "I didn't like him either."

    "... I wanted to thank you, too." She managed to crack a slight smile. "You're..." Ribbon struggled to find the words. It's a play on words, because the only thing Rirrom really reinforced when making Ribbon was that she was really good at chasing things, and the idea was that by "Tagging" shadows of other's remains, she was able to warp to them.

    Ribbon wasn't there though. The knife wasn't either. Because love ALWAYS wins.
