A loud bang resounded from some place.

Sounds that sounded like screaming echoed from a bit farther into the distance.

"A degree of independence? Look. Calliope," Saffron stood up, locking his steel gaze on the gamemaker, "I don't care what you do. But if you kill me, I will return. And I have your secrets."

"Okay." She walks off.

"At least my generation isn't busy throwing tantrums over people knowing too much." Saffron mused, "But you gamemakers are all insane."

"Throw a tantrum?" She looked surprised, "How many people is this supposed to distract?"

"Calliope!" Saffron shouted, "Tell me, what did you do to Elan? Or Herman?"

Saffron groaned in reply. "Calliope." He muttered. "I'm going to kill you." If you don't kill me first.

"Subtle? Like what?"

"No. I'm going back." Aeoryi says, "I'll be more useful not here than here."

Saffron sighed, then slumped down beneath the window to avoid being seen. @Lotus Blossom

"Of course. Can you describe Cassian for me?" Saffron ignored the voice screaming in his head.

Saffron simply sighed, then said, "Cassian. Cassian." Saffron thought for a long while, then stated, "He would believe you. But he's being constantly held back, if what you say is true. Siylna is probably keeping her leash on him short. And I can see why." Saffron considers each of the gamemakers. Siylna. The one who loved Cassian so much that it got in her way; and his. Cassian. The child who grew up the wrong way. Who discovered truth the hard way. Who had no influence. Calliope. The oddity. Definitely insane. Kaa. He hadn't been around much. There was no way he could save them. Elan. The strange gamemaker had been around for a while. He struck saffron as an oddity. One moment he would be trying to help saffron and the next trying to kill him. There had to be something with that one. Something the other gamemakers didn't have. Saffron paused. They were definitely being watched. "Elsie, what do you know about Elan?" @Experience

"Cassian isn't coming down here. We both know that." Saffron spoke, letting his words sink in, "In fact, Siylna probably has already told him that you're dead. That you died in a fight with me. That you aren't worth looking for. That you're gone, and you're never coming back." Saffron sighed, then spoke again. "The Gamemakers probably have many more dark secrets." He tried to find Elsie amongst the empty cells. "You might escape. But Cassian will never save me." @Experience

"She's going to kill me and you. Or maybe just me. But she will never let you leave." Saffron looked around, then said, "We should be careful what we say. They're probably watching."

"I warned you. But this- this is a whole nother level." Saffron tapped the bars in a pattern.

Aeoryi was silent, but had a pensive expression. "I don't even know you."

"Siylna is responsible." Also I'm going to be probably not available tomorrow or for the remainder of today (unfortunately) but I will still keep a eye on the thread hopefully I maybe be on tmrw
