While I appreciate Gavilar not being a Kelsier level plotting mastermind, I find myself being a bit letdown. I feel like there are still secrets and information that have been hinted at enough that I would call it a "promise" that we don't have the reveal for. How did he get anti-voidlight? How did Gavilar get wrapped into all this in the first place? What did Gavilar set in motion that Thaidakar couldn't stop? Nothing about Axindweth or Gereh?

If a Koloss-blooded human and a Singer had a child would it's skin overall gain a slightly blue-ish tint or would there be blue swirled with the red/white/black pattern?

I like the thoughts you both have on this. You're right in that Sazed is intent on keeping them in balance but separate which I think is the problem that we are seeing. He is capable of holding both but either doesn't know how to do what Navani/Raboniel did on a large scale or is incapable of doing this. I wonder if a Singer were to find their song if Sazed could hum it to help push the powers together into one? Sazed may have been the Hero of Ages but I'm not convinced he's finished with melding the powers or that he will be the one to hold them in the end. We talk about Harmonium being proof that they're melded and I see that - even mentioned it myself above - but with it being as combustive as it is I wonder if maybe it's an incomplete fusion of the two. The two forces inside aren't merging but trying to push apart and need just a nudge to do so.

Do we know if the ratio of investiture matters when creating the combination? So, would it be like this?: 3XVoidLight + XStormlight = XWarLight + 2XVoidLight If so, then maybe that would be how it works but I still am not sure Harmony actually has merged them at all. If he had, I think that the Kandra would have been right and Wax would have been unable to split Harmonium/Ettmetal. The only problem I am running into with this theory on Harmony's state is that Ettmetal doesn't appear to be two metals and I would think if Harmony wasn't merged then the metal wouldn't be merged together like that.

So we know now with Lights that they need to have their rhythm or wavelength altered so that they "snap" together and combine rather than just circle each other - never touching. Harmony is supposed to be a harmonic fusion of the two but Sazed very much talks about the powers as if they are separate and not a single harmonious force. Does anyone else get the impression that Harmony is still holding two separate powers and has not learned/found out what to use as an Emulsifier to truly combine the investiture of Ruin and Preservation together?

I've been considering a Stormlight Archive tattoo (and a Mistborn one, but for now Stormlight Archive) and am running into a problem when I think of what I want. Dalinar's Oathbringer quotes really resonate with me - you know the ones (rise a better man, most important step, I will do better). My first thoughts were to get the Bondsmith Glyph and then to put a line of text above and/or below it. I would probably go with the "Always the next step" part of that quote or "I will do better" as they encompass the soul of the whole quote to me without being too wordy. The problem? I don't really identify as a Bondsmith. When I think about the orders and which one I would fit into there are many options but Bondsmith isn't really one of the ones that come to mind so I'm not sure I want a Bondsmith glyph. The only other thing I can really think of would be the Kholin glyph but I'm not sure what other ideas are out there. Thoughts?

Very interesting! I wonder if he has improved a lot since Warbreaker then since they emphasized pretty heavily that Vasher was - at best - third best swordsman there. I guess I figured Roshar would have a few just as good as Denth and Arsteel. Despite that, I still think a discovery will be what he does. It fits who he is too much to ignore it - even if its not a collab.

Hi all, just registered. Reread warbreaker and I was thinking about this very topic right at the end so much it prompted me to register! I, too, think he is Endowment's play on Roshar - well him, Nightblood, and Vivenna who are all there. Her future sight seems to be incredibly powerful compared to what we've seen so far in the cosmere with one Mistborn related possible exception and maybe cultivation who we just haven't seen much of yet. However, I find one thing really odd with Zahel/Vasher on Roshar. He is serving as a swordmaster. That wasn't what he was best at. He was always a researcher who understands the magic system of Nalthis better than arguably anyone save Shashara. What if his role isn't as a sword master, combatant, or even a returned but as a researcher. We have a large focus on research with Navani and Jasnah so it would make sense if somehow he got drawn into that and helped them uncover something that changes the tides.
