"They exploded. What did you expect?"

"Ah, here we go!" he says excitedly He pulls out a small cloth packet with a string. He takes out a flint and ignites the string- he then swings it around a couple a times and throws it at the group of bugs. Waving everyone back, he looks on expectantly for the spray of bug bodies.

He nods. "Dyrling, eh? Nasty things, those."

Watching this, Calarian's face goes from the cheery optimism to the great worry you had seen earlier. He could see the hunger, the pain and fear in his eyes. Something was very, very wrong with this kid. He had an idea of what might of happened- but this was far worse than what he had imagined. Talking to the vendor, he says "Excuse me sir, I need to talk for a moment." He then grabs Mike's collar and practically drags him into a nearby empty alley. "What happened to you, Mike?"

I should probably get some of these "Shardbuddy" things everyone's talking about. Where can I get some?

"Yes, I kinda got that. But why are they here? Did an experiment go wrong or something?"

"Alright, but why are there so many cockroaches? Did you put off calling pest control for too long?"

Going in with the group, Rakushta looks around. "I hadn't actually entered this building yet. Can you explain what happened?"

"That's... a good point, Zoe." He turns to the supposed Auror- "Can you prove you are from the people you say you are?"

"Alright. Shall we head back in?"

"Oh, yes yes. I have some gunpowder bombs that at most will scorch the walls. They'll still kill, though."

"You probably haven't heard of it, missus. I come from the great nation of Ravka. I would tell you the name of the planet, but I don't know it and haven't bothered learning it and probably won't anytime soon." He chuckles a little at that.

"Ah, so you are the resident of this place! Good to know. Still, it's a shame." He pulls out a small bottle with a short string poking out. "I never get to use these things..." He tucks it back into his pack. "I assume you don't want the roof blown off, either?"

"Excellent! Tell me, is it okay with you if this lab burns to the ground?"

"The same to you, though the lassoing certainly didn't help. Anyway, what sort of monster do you wish blown up?"

"Indeed! You mentioned bombs earlier, yes? I just happen to be an expert on such high explosives! And low explosives, I suppose. All explosives, actually. I would demonstrate, but I doubt any of you would like that."

"Horde of monsters? I'm afraid I missed that part. If you don't kill me however, I can help with that!"

"Oh, of course. I was scavenging this lab for parts. It look rather abandoned to me- don't you agree?"

"Gah!" He exclaims as he is yanked towards you. "Oh, er... I am Rakushta. Is this your lab...?" To Andante, who is from earth, his accent sounds almost... Russian?

At the corner of your eye, you see something odd- what appears to be a short man is peeking around the corner of the building ,spying you. He's covered in spot, from what you can see.

"Yeah, I agree with Ayra here. Why contact us if they were going to just kill or capture us, and why now?" He pauses for a moment. "Still, it's good to ask these questions."

WAP! She gives you a smack on the head with her stick and laughs. "Of course not, young man! I haven't met this man in my life!" She cackles a little more.

@Omi the Counselor He stays silent, however he appears to be in deep thought. It could be cult magic, he thinks. But no. It's far too specific for that. I've really been sent outside of the universe... It seems a lot less... strange than I excepted. I can't feel my Outer Mind filling, like when I met the Being Khsu, Thing of Unity, so it's not being masked by that. Hmmm... I mean, if there's something outside of the universe, why can't there be other ones? Yes, that's where we are now, and where all these odd people are from. He is still in thought when he reaches the crest of the hill, and finally the military mask is broken when he gapes at what is there.

He nods and watches Gyroto fly away. Wow. I'm not dead. He turns around and starts to head back "home", to inform Depravity of this semi-promising news. Let's hope this is satisfactory for him...
