"Huh? Oh. er... I think you would call it Scadrial. The outer estates." He seems a little dumbfounded.

Oh dear. After a couple more moments, he says "I'm sorry. That was rude of me." Why did he mess everything up This girl seemed nice- and now he had practically insulted her intelligence. Why couldn't he be like a normal child of Ares, dunking people's head into toilets and being enormous jerks? At least they could hold a conversation without accidentally insulting someone.

With a look of incredulity, he asks "I doubt any of us have been here- the old world is supposed to be exceedingly dangerous for demigods. At least, the Mediterranean is. I'm not sure about England, though."

Jarias seems relieved at the arrival of the newcomer- three-way awkwardness was far better than one-on-one awkwardness. "Oh, um, hi. I'm Jarias, son of Ares. I'm pretty sure none of us know where we are."

@A Windrunner @Elend Venture Entering into the tavern, two men enter into the tavern. One has a Scadrian revolver on his belt and wears a nice vest, bowler hat, and cane. Sittingbar, the Scadrian sits down next to Nardo. He looks at the menu and says "Hmmm... I'll some of the high-quality port, please." He glances over at Nardo a couple of times with an odd expression on his face.

He shakes her hand firmly. "I'm Jarias, son of Ares and I have a weak spot for... er... uh, say, I think I noticed your garden once when I was out near there. Um, I think it looked quite nice." He taps the hilt of his sword nervously.

"These are all quite possible. She certainly seems the type to allow herself to be extorted, though if I were the extorter I would choose someone with a bit more money than her. We'll have to see if she continues to leave." "Anyway, would you wish to go get a drink down at a bar?"

Jarias sat in the seat of this strange train, worrying. He had his sword out and was wiping it with clean rag- back and forth, back and forth- a nervous tic of his. He shouldn't be here. This was the old world- demigod. He had heard of the legendary exploits of the Argo II through the Mediterranean, and the stories of the many, many, many dangerous monsters they encountered. Granted, this was England, which was far from the heartlands of Rome and Greece, but still. And then there was these wizards. Romans? Those made sense. They were similar enough to the greek gods and it had a certain logic to it with the center of western civilization and all. But wizards? How did they fit in with all of this? From the explanation they got, they weren't associated with any sort of gods. There was some sort of explanation, surely. His rapier was already perfectly clean, but he continued wiping. Where was this school? From what he had heard, it sounded like it was a proper school with classrooms and teachers, unlike the summer camp that was Camp Half-Blood. Was it close Why were we here anyway? What went wrong- after all, that's the only reason we'd travel here is if something went wrong. Very wrong. Hey, where are the other dem- The door suddenly opened, and a blonde, round face girl walked in. He recognized her from earlier- she was one of the others who joined into this strange expedition. "Hey. "I'm Zoe. From the camp. The one with the plants." She says. "Oh, uh, hi Zoe. Um, not to be rude, but can you be a little bit more specific then 'The one with the plants?'" He looks down at the long rapier that was blocking her seat. "Oh! Sorry," he says as his face goes red. He sheathes the sword in it's scabbard, which was sitting next to him.

Amazing_Goob, confused by the complete chaos of the first two pages of this topic, and startled by the sudden logic of the last three, decides not to join in. They might watch, though. Edit: Amazing_Goob didn't realize this topic hadn't been posted in for nearly two weeks and now feels stupid. -
