Fox was quick to pick up her knife once more. "Not a step closer!" She eyed the man closely. Fox glanced back at Nath. She was going to need to get someone's help. Perhaps she could observe closely that which they would do him. Fox would need to be very careful about this. She took a shaky breathe in, and then out. "Alright. Nath needs immediate attention, and I am... desperate. I am fairly certain that his ribs are broken, and he may even have a punctured lung. You may send forth one person to help, but I will be watching closely to make sure that there is no funny business." @DramaQueen Fox turned her attention back to Fadran. "Alright? Am I alright?" The irony of the question rolled over Fox, causing insane laughter to erupt from her lips, "Of course I'm not alright!!! I have no freaking idea what's going on anymore!"

Fox stood there, dirt and blood smudging her face, her hoodie still darkened around her stomach. A bit of white bandage peeked through the rip in her hoodie from when she was.... stabbed. (just cause I forgot to describe her when she first appeared) "Fadran.... Fadran." Fox's head throbbed as she repeated the name trying to remember. When she spoke her words were strained. "I get the feeling that... I should... trust... you.... but... I don't... know.... why...." Fox's knife clattered to the ground as she raised both hands to her head. "I.... think Nath mentioned you. He said he... failed you, but I didn't know what he meant" She looked back up at Fadran. "Are you really... a friend?"

Nath returned to unconsciousness as they were transported somewhere new. No, he couldn’t leave again! Fox tensed as a man came running at them. She pulled out the knife from her belt, getting to her feet “Don’t come any closer!” She commanded with a slight quiver in her voice. “Who are you and what do you want? How do you know my name?”

You Know You're a Sanderfan When...
Scarletfox replied to Shardbearer's topic in General Brandon Discussion
When someone at your lunch table says, “shut up about Sanderson for once!” When your teacher says that you’ll be learning about metallurgy, and your first thought is to ask if it’ll be Allomancy, Feruchemy, or Hemalurgy. When you expect to hear Harmony’s voice every time you put in an earring. -
No, no, no, no, no! Why hadn't this worked? Fox choked over her words, "Nath, Nath come back. Oh, what am I going to do..." She laid him down on the ground, limp and lifeless, before closing her eyes, and returning to the physical world. Fox knew couldn't save him, but she had to do something. Her head throbbed as she thought through the options. Fox really needed to get Nath somewhere where he could get help, but where. She'd just have to choose a direction, but even if she knew where, how? She had dragged away many a dead body, but she wanted to keep this person from further injury, so she probably shouldn't just drag him across the ground. Perhaps she could carry him for a bit? She was strong, but not strong enough to carry Nath for more than a mile at most. Well, she would just have to hope that there was help close enough. Fox strained as she heaved Nath up into her arms in a cradle like position. It was awkward because Nath was so tall, but it would have to do. She took a few strained steps in a random direction, and then leaned against a tree to catch her breath. She would do this. Fox stumbled through the wood carrying Nath, hoping and praying for help.

"Welcome to the show, Hyaaa. What solution do you propose to help a woman who thinks that she is the hulk?"
-
"May I ask who's calling?"

Fox stood paralyzed for a moment by Nath's rage, before walking over to him, and wiping away his tears with the sleeve of her hoodie. She spoke softly, "Yes, you have failed, but that does not make you a failure. You will only be a failure if you allow your past mistakes to prevent you from living. If someone trips on a bump in the road, they do not chop off their foot for hitting the bump, they avoid the bump the next time they walk that way. Do not dwell on what you have done, but on what you will do differently."
