Okay, I have a crack theory. We haven't been seeing Kandra kills. We have coinshot kills and elim kills, plus the Illwei/Ventyl hema kill, but no Kandra kills. From what I've gathered, the Kandra had a kill ability in LG66, so either the Kandra is hesitant to use their ability (doubtful) or they have something else going on. That brings me to my wild theory: what if the kandra started as an elim. Look, we haven't found them yet, and everyone is throwing around wild kandra theories, but as far as I can tell, we haven't heard a peep from them. Could be bc TUO is the Kandra, but I wouldn't put it past Striker to do something screwy and way throw us off our game. This would align with Illwei's post that implies the possibility of five elims. If one of them is the kandra, that would leave us with four elims + a kandra with access to the NK. Am I wrong? Maybe. Probably. But this possibility has been sitting in my mind constantly since we haven't seen any kandra kills. Of course, I'm operating under the assumption that the elims have been doing their NKs. There's a slim chance that none of the NKs are elim but??? That's honestly highly unlikely. I'm more inclined to believe it's the Kandra NKs we're missing. I could also be crazy. I wouldn't be surprised if the Kandra is a hemalurgist (yes Illwei I think you could be the Kandra).

WELL my alarm didn’t go off. Happy Sunday everyone. I appreciate whoever soothed the vote off me since I didn’t wake up to self pres. Alright, time to say it. I’m a Thug! And now that that’s known I’d appreciate some protection since my extra life is gone, but I doubt I’m gonna get it XD I’m sure araris is the more valuable player that needs protecting

Shara could feel the eyes on her at today’s meetings. The hair on the back of her neck pricked up while they watched her. She knew suspicion was hot on her. She did her best to keep calm, but it was hard when everyone just kept staring. Iden didn’t look too good himself. He fidgeted whenever someone suggested that Shara was a rebel, furiously denying it but sweating bullets all the same. They were tied together, and if Shara was executed, he would probably go with her. Shara hadn’t prepared herself to die. It was the one unknown, the great mystery. Despite her comprehensive notes and piles of analysis sitting on her desk, she hadn’t planned to die. Hush. You will not die. The reminder, though frequent, was softer each time she thought it. They’d tied her to Philico now, the thief. He’d been on her radar, though not enough for her to do much analysis on him, and that implicated her. He was adamant about her execution over his. He argued it even now, swaying others to join him on voting for her execution. Should she run? She’d never make it to Elendel. No, she wouldn’t run. She would stay. You will not die.

So, it does feel a bit strange that we're jumping down Mat's throat for claiming in thread. I can't imagine an elim would admit in thread that they're just targeting for the most amount of boxings?? I just can't get behind voting on role alone, but if that's the route everyone else wants to go I at least think we should know who the other thief is?? It's just so strange to me that we're clearing the other thief who probably has the same goals as Mat. Am I suspicious of Mat? I mean, yeah, but not because of the thief thing?? I can't justify voting on him just for that. Suspicious of Araris slightly, but since his Lotus kill claim hasn't been countered, I'm inclined to believe that he's the coinshot. This is sad because he's probably going to kill me next, based on that recent vote XD. Can I persuade you not to Araris? No idea what to think of Dannex. Anyway, I'm gonna drop a vote on TUO because we still haven't seen any voting or reads and I know that's his playstyle but it's rubbing me the wrong way. This'll probably change if TUO joins us in thread or someone else catches my eye.

Yeah, sorry, I know I’ve been uncharacteristically quiet this turn, and I’m sorry for that. I plan on being more engaged today. I’m in an insane 4 week intensive summer class, and the past few days have been very heavy due to exams, homework, and projects. But I think today I can participate more

I understand it's your playstyle, but I feel like not voting just actively hurts the village. However I can't see an elim admitting that they don't vote as a playstyle, so yeah I'm reading you more positively now ig.

My thought process is kinda we have a lot of people that didn’t vote, and not many people voted on me in the first place, so I feel like the likelihood of one of the four people that voted on me was storing D2 and a ferring that gets their vote cancelled is unlikely. I know that’s a bit of a reach but I’m trying to reason what the vote manip could be now that we’ve lost a rioter. edit: someone post I forgot to say something and it needs a quote that I can’t edit in lol

Okay, N2 thoughts: I'm leaning toward soother, because it seems like there was less vote manip this time around. It could be possible that a ferring was storing on D1 and, in order to make it not obvious, they voted despite knowing their vote would be cancelled. @StrikerEZ would we be able to tell a difference between a ferring vote cancellation and a soother? ie the ferrings name wouldn't show up at all on the votes? Could possibly be explained by Ventyl asking for a pinch hitter XD. I know I was #1 on the "let's exe Ventyl" train but I think he seemed less involved for whatever reason he ended up needing a replacement. I'm inclined to believe this based on Ventyl's chaos and the joking blackmail. Why? Okay, so, not liking manu or TUO currently for continuing to not vote. Voting is our one big power as village and lets us put pressure on the elims. It can force them out in the open to defend teammates, too. Maybe TUO or manu is the coinshot and thinks that is more useful than voting but like... why not both? (Okay also if either of you two are the coinshot don't claim. I know that's been said a million times over but yeah). Basically, bad vibes from not voting and taking a backseat. Illwei, you have a lot of good thoughts early on. Welcome to the game! Since a lot of my suspicion was directly Ventyl-based, not sure what I'm going to do now. Can you give me a reason to suspect you? Jk lol. With your claim of hemalurgist, I can't imagine you're an elim. I'm still thinking kandra a little, but I'm not sure.

Shara dreamt of a forest. The trees surrounded her, dense, towering. She picked her way through the forest, skirting trunks of dark wood too large for her to wrap her arms around. As she moved deeper into the trees, they seemed to stretch, growing taller, bending over her in increasingly strange ways. Suffocating. She wasn’t breathing. Or, she was, but she was underwater. When did she get underwater? Oh Harmony, she was drowning. Shara held her breath until she no longer could. She gasped, water filling her lungs, but she breathed it like air. She was in the forest underwater. The trees warped with the currents, swaying, watching her. One of the trees turned to her. It had a face she didn’t recognize. It twisted, grinning, teeth made of jagged bark. One by one the trees turned to her, each wearing a new face. Faces, faces, all facing her. She knelt in the center of a ring, chained to the ground, on trial. A man stepped out of a tree. His skin was of bark, his hair leaves. He looked down at her for a brief moment before jamming a knife into her heart. Shara sat up with a gasp. Daylight filtered into her room through the tiny window. Her cheeks were wet and her lungs burned as if she’d been running. She was alone. Shara pulled her knees up to her chest and held them until Iden returned.

Ah, fantastic, look everyone we had an elim out himself! Get him! To make a kind of long story short, I received blackmail in PMs from Ventyl along the line of "if you hurt my feelings (vote on me) I'll kill you." I reported it in the thread and let the mods know as well. It was handled by mods, and Ventyl says he was joking, so I've elected to let it go for now. If other reasons pop up for me to be suspicious of him I'm sure that this'll be part of my reason to keep voting on him. Speaking of all this, I'm surprised Ventyl hasn't been on. I wonder what's up? A lot of this voting philosophy stuff is a little heady for me, but I managed to follow somewhat. I think the reasons on both Ash and TJ are somewhat weak, but I don't see anyone else I can argue for except for Ventyl, but I don't want to put a vote on him when I don't have any more information than I did last time. I think the reasoning against TJ is stronger, but not by much. Ash hasn't done enough in thread for me to get an accurate read on him, but also the same could be said for TJ. Gah XD. Okay, conclusion from this is I'm not ready to vote. Mmmm don't like the feeling of Szeth jumping on the vote but... well, I'll leave it for now, bc I know that feeling of school getting way too much to give thoughts in this game lol.

So, the thunderdome makes me read both Araris and Drake village. If y'all are elims hats off to you that was good distancing XD. TUO, are you gonna vote this cycle? It would be helpful to get your contribution. After rereading some of the last two turns, I'm getting kandra vibes from Mist and Ventyl. I'm leaning more toward Ventyl, but Archer brought up some good points about neutral playing. Anyway, Ventyl's chaos still leaves me with a strange taste in my mouth, as well as his absence in the thread today. I can't glean much from the Lotus flip, though it does make me want to say TJ is village because of his reads list. And while I understand that there's a lot of focus on the votes D1, because that's the info we have, at least from my experience D1 votes are a shot in the dark. Was an inactivity exe a bad idea? Eh. There's reasons for and against it, and I can understand both. Voting to save an active player over an inactive player I can definitely understand. Like I said D1, 2/3 games I've played elims have won in large part thanks to village inactivity. Yeah I don't have much experience playing games, but the experience I do have makes me more understanding about the inactivity vote... I guess This got rambly, sorry XD.

Iden watched Shara sleep, curled up on her side, breathing softly. Her hair, normally tied up in a professional updo, was down around her face, curling at the ends. Asleep, the dark circles under her eyes stood out even more. He’d left her to sleep while the first emergency meeting took place. Three deaths in one night… Survivor above. At least one of them had been a rebel, but at the cost of two of their own? Accusations flew wildly in the meeting. People shouted, claiming this and that. Iden couldn’t even tell what was true, what was a lie, and what was someone’s hallucination fabricated from sleep-deprived paranoia? And without Shara, Iden felt exposed. Vulnerable. He’d taken the best notes he could, but they wouldn’t compare to hers. He’d been worried sick about Shara. After hearing shouting in the all about a murder in the building, Iden had awoke to find her bed empty. He was close to sending someone out to find her when she’d sprinted into their room like a bat out of hell. How close had she been to the murder in the streets? How close was it to being her? How long until the knife was in his back?

Okay, I've done my Spanish studying, so I'm here for a bit! If you're the coinshot and you got Lotus: nice! You're a much better coinshot than I was in my first LG. I don't have enough to vote right now. This hasn't been the greatest game for me, suspicions-wise. Currently a little sus of mat, confused-sus about Ventyl (still), and sus of Szeth. But now Mat is voting on Szeth, and Szeth voted on Mat D1, which could be a distancing plan but I doubt it? Realized I'm just trying to pad this to 200 words, and I just... really don't have enough to say to do that. Our pm was nice! But I want to reiterate that I took my vote off of Experience very quickly. I understand that it's probably the timing of my vote that looks suspicious, I get that, but it's just so odd to me that the basis of suspicion on me is a vote I said was partially a poke and then moved off the person. I really, honestly, did not expect people to go for the Exp exe. I expected more people to join me on Ventyl, to be quite honest, but the situation was handled by the mods, so I'm not going to push a Ventyl exe based on the blackmail. I do this too. I've been doing Spanish class all day with this tab open in the background. Pretty sure if you check the game at any point during the working day you'll see my name at the bottom XD

In the early hours of the morning, Shara left the tavern. Two cups of coffee sat comfortably in her stomach, though it did little to pull her out of her half-awake stupor. She really needed sleep, and Harmony knew she’d get it as soon as she returned to her room. At least one other person at the tavern had remarked on how tired she looked, and that had decided it. As soon as others noticed she was tired, she lost her edge in meetings, and she needed to remedy that. As she moved through the quiet streets of Garmet, an eerie quiet settled around her. The hair on the back of her neck pricked up, as if someone watched her, but she could hear nothing. The tavern lights had faded from view, and with it, the sound of happy patrons. Now, the early morning chill blanketed the streets, bringing with it the quiet of pre-dawn. No one moved, no wind blew. Just the dew and dust and Shara. A scream split the night. Shara ran. She sprinted blindly through the streets, turning corners so fast she nearly collided with light poles and mail boxes. Her heart thundered, threatening to push it’s way out of her chest. Harmony, why had she worn flats? The building that housed her room came into view. Shara threw the door open, sprinted up the stairs, and flung herself into her bedroom, slamming the door behind her. Her breathing came in labored gasps and she leaned against the wall, closing her eyes and tipping her head back to try and catch whatever breath she could. Hands clasped her shoulders, and she almost screamed before Iden began speaking. “Shara, Shara, what happened? Are you okay? Are you hurt?” Shara coughed. Wow, she was out of shape. “A scream… out there… I was--” she coughed “I was at the tavern.” Iden shook his head. “Survivor above, another?” Shara wiped sweat off her brow. “What do you mean another?” Iden blinked. “You haven’t heard? It’s Josephine. She’s dead.” Rp for now, discussion to come.

Shara held the mug of coffee between her hands. The warmth seeped into her skin, warming stiff fingers that had grown cold in the night chill. Iden would criticize her for drinking a coffee so late at night. Shara, rest! I said rest! Not caffeine! She could hear his voice in the back of her head, and the thought of it pulled at the corners of her mouth. She sipped the coffee. Watery, but tolerable. She’d had worse. “Not much of a drinker myself,” Shara replied to Josephine. “Where are you from?” She’d let Josephine talk, get a read on her maybe. The idea immediately made Shara grimace. How long had she been working, pouring over half baked theories and letting paranoia get to her? She was about to place payment on the counter and move to a more secluded corner of the tavern when another woman burst through the doors of the tavern, loudly introducing herself. Shara recognized her. Her notes flashed in the back of her head. Juno, loud, boisterous, not afraid to speak out about what she believes. Has a lot of thoughts, leader type. Unknown allegiance, leaning to loyal. Shara tipped her head toward Juno. “Shara. And to you.” no need to be sorry

I guess that's a fair point, but I'm just confused why you're kinda coming after me for temporarily voting on someone you voted on ? And I can assure you that I voted on Ventyl because I had clear reason to, not because I was trying to pull out of the Exp vote. Like I said, no one else had voted on him before I removed the vote. I also did say that I did it partially to bandwagon. I admitted to that. edit: wait okay I think I misunderstood something
