Well, Kimora certainly wasn't expecting that response. For once, she was at a loss for words. "I--erm...nothing, I suppose." "And you think that will make me trust you? I don't yet know if your promises mean anything. However, I am willing to give you the benefit of the doubt." Kimora extended her hand to Chorale. "I've decided. I shall help you. Don't worry about payment; being able to help is payment alone. Oh, and you're welcome in advance, though there's really no need to thank me."

I know it! And it is so good oh my gosh! Do you watch Katherine Steele on YouTube? She recommends that show basically every single video, though she calls it a Popera because that's cool. Oh...I know the song, but not the show, dang it!!

Kimora had reached the woman, only a few steps behind. "Hey!" She shouted, a rare action for her.

Kimora reached the door just as she saw the woman from before disappear around a corner. Feeling very inconvenienced, Kimora picked up her pace and followed her.

She must have left. Kimora felt an annoying surge of frustration. She walked briskly down the stairs, her long black hair swaying like a curtain. I might as well go to the marketplace, if only to clear my head.

Kimora couldn't relax, no matter what she tried. Exasperated at herself and the woman who had disturbed her, she got up and walked to the next room over. Normally, she'd use one of her illusions for this, but she was almost out of purple crystals, so she had to be sparing with them. Tempted for a moment to just bathe in, the way this woman had to her, Kimora grudgingly raised a hand to the door, knocking sharply.
