    Tonight's stream (I have prior commitments, so I always watch them after the stream ends), is reminding me a lot of how I'm helping teach the family dog. 'Nooooooo' and 'you did ____, so you lost ____ privileges'.

    When your mom tells you that the local game store had a Mistborn poster in the window. It's gotta be the Mistborn RPG. I wonder if the Stormlight Call to adventure will show up... I've been looking for it.

    When a classmate says that left gloves should be banned, and you immediately think of how un-Vorin and heretical that statement is!

    "Right. Memory." That shouldn't be too hard. He just has to find a distinctive line, something that looks right, and he can keep it in his head. "Are you going to teach me more now, or later?" He asks as he traces out the rune again.

    Martin feels his heart skip a beat as darkness shutters the world around him, because living on a starship means that sudden darkness is very bad, and before that it meant that someone had taken out a generator, and that was just as bad, because no generator meant no cams, no backup, and on far too many occasions, getting locked in. "Cool," he says turning his thoughts away from that.

    "Okay." He's doing this. He's actually doing this. Get it right this time, he tells himself, and begins the glyph again. A little bit slower, but that's okay right now. Once he's got the lines good, he can speed up. He's doing magic.

    Martin feels air rush out of his lungs in a disbelieving gasp, a smile trying to form. He did it. Probably not very well, but he did it. "Wow," he mumbles, blinking spots out of his eyes.

    Martin follows her movements, sweeping a finger through the air. He feels a tiny bit stupid.

    After a moment of deliberation, Martin obediently holds out his left hand, palm up. He doesn't know what to expect. Doesn't know if magic dust is different than normal dust, and it's making him just a tiny bit nervous.

    Yeah, I think it's uncontained rage and technology brings headaches.

    A bunch of people traveling the universe in search of adventure! One could say that we're a Fellowship. What is the Thing? That's up to you to find out what your Thing is. Pretty sure mine is accidentally falling out of the plot.

    I was talking about this the other day. I'm used to coming to the party, so to speak, long after the books are released, or I hear about the series during final-book release hype and starting the series as said final book is coming out. Getting to experience the anticipation, theorizing, and general excitement is incredible.

    'Space Marines' is somewhat of a flexible term in my definition. It looks interesting, I'll definitely pick it up!

    "Okay. I guess I could try - I definitely need some kind of ability if I'm gonna get anything done." He'll never be good at this, but he can get good enough to at least do something. What, he doesn't know. "What should I learn first?"

    My library finally got book two, so I can keep reading it now! Anybody got a recommendation with space marines? No swearing, graphic content, the usual parameters.

    Mine has been fine so far, and I've carried it around in a backpack and loaned it to someone.

    Finished Champion! I've decided to read Hamlet next, mostly to get it over with because I don't like the layout of the edition I got. I'm excited for the story, though.

    "Uh, I guess? How does it work?" He's never heard of anything like this before. And he does need to get better at defense...

    I've been listening to several of the songs from the RvB soundtracks, because I deal with emotion by listening to the music over and over to slightly numb the emotion. And I really like sad/bittersweet piano music.
