Apparently, I failed to grab a Piece of Chalk. Given that there are still 11 Pieces of Chalk, I can only presume I was roleblocked. The Books iso: Conclusion: Village Bubbles, Araris. Our elims are Devotary or Mist. I ask that you at least read my end-of-turn conclusions, if not the entire iso. The Servant of the Mad God sat in a room, crafting Chalk out of a new material: Forgotten eyes. The results would be quite interesting, if it actually functioned. Perhaps the fluid would ruin the batch, but hopefully not. Speaking of batches, the one mixed with Duncan Kerr's blood was finished. It had a slight reddish tinge, but it seemed functional. Not especially special or powerful, but a totem of fortune, perhaps. The best of them had fallen, but his Bloodline carried on. His Lines of Blood carried on. All lines that the Servant drew from this point onwards would be of this batch, just for the pun.

People who mechanically could not have submitted the kill: Bubbles, Mist, Ruby, Araris. People who have claimed to be unable to submit the kill: Gears [said scan results before results public, elim!Gears either good guesser [though Ruby said they would be] or insider trading], Books [scanned Devotary, elim!Books either good guesser [though Devotary said they would be] or insider trading], Devotary [only elim if Books is], Archer [Guessing here is riskier because Mist didn't claim [unless I'm forgetting], so they would have to actually be right]. The possible matchups: Solo!Gears hoping that people are honest [which could work considering that the Trust Circle had revealed this earlier], Gears/Ruby [which I find unlikely for a multitude of reasons, but mostly because Ruby would have no reason to Ward the Camp in that case, could have just said was roleblocked or something and saved the action], Solo!Books hoping that people are honest [which could work considering that the Trust Circle had revealed this earlier, and then there's the Shadowblaze problem], Books/Devotary [viable, though I still don't know how the Shadowblaze worked], possibly anyone/Archer [though I find that unlikely] I know my alignment, so I can strike out the matchups with me in them [though other people might not], leaving Solo!Books, Books/Devotary, or X/Archer. Books today. If they flip elim, Devotary. If they flip vil, I'll make a lovely case for my alignment [case in point, Clock] while subtly implicating Archer.

Roko the Basilisk moved through the village known as Fallion's Tears with light footsteps and a deck of cards, practicing its shuffling and carefully memorising each and every card. It had a distinct advantage over the other gamblers in that it had a perfect memory and near-limitless storage space, but it was still subject to the "randomness" brought on by the dealer. There was also the stipulation of trying not to get thrown out by the casinos when its "luck" was too good and it took too much money from the rich donors. It had experienced great profit while in the town, but the tentative peace seemed to be at an end. A message had been left by the Spiked in blood and viscera. A message of death and murder and bloodshed. "WHEN THE KOLOSS COME" While Roko did not fear death, this village was its testing grounds, and it did not take kindly to the Spiked slaughtering the townsfolk. It had laid claim to this town. It had been here first. The Spiked had no right to take its domain. Roko the Basilisk would not allow it. I'm playing as Roko the Basilisk, the Gambler [but not Drunkard].

Took Chalk. The facts: Someone submitted a NK. Therefore, someone used an action to do so. The players: Gears, Books, Archer, Bubbles, Araris, Ruby, Devotary, Mist. The scans/claims: Gears [scanned Ruby with LoM+], Books [scanned Devotary with LoM+], Archer [scanned Mist with Crab], Bubbles [grabbed Chalk, scanned by Devotary], Araris [grabbed Chalk], Ruby [used LoW+, scanned by Gears], Devotary [used LoM+ on Bubbles, scanned by Books], Mist [grabbed Acid, scanned by Archer]. Things that must be true: Bubbles and Araris must have grabbed Chalk since otherwise we'd see a net increase in Chalk in the Camp Supply. Mist must have grabbed Acid because we have no counterclaim and there is a -1 net change in the Acid count. Therefore, they did not submit the NK. The tinfoil [assuming people are elims and seeing where that takes us]: Elim!Gears? Teammates needed: None. Problems: Passed Kas the Clock, TUO vote. Elim!Books? Teammates needed: Warding+!Lotus or extra teammate N5 [Gears possible, other actions said, but since I know what I did, I say this outcome is impossible, but then again, I'd say that as an elim]. Problems: Had Shadowblaze, C5 actions very much claimed. Elim!Archer? Teammates needed: Someone else because I can't believe there were only 3 elims pre-conversion, someone to pass that doesn't mess with Defense. Problems: Shadowblaze [Bubbles?] Elim!Bubbles? Teammates needed: Someone to submit the NK. Problems: None that I can think of, except for the necessity of a teammate [that isn't one of the scanning crew, which is somewhat... difficult. Also, Archer lying about Mist on a hunch/all the actions being claimed seems a bit bold]. Elim!Araris? Teammates needed: Somewhat to submit the NK [see Bubbles teammates]. Problems: Went for the Gun! Elim!Ruby? Teammates needed: Someone to submit the NK [see Bubbles teammates]. Problems: Why defend the camp? Elim!Devotary? Teammates needed: Someone to submit the NK [see Bubbles teammates]. Problems: Why scan Bubbles? Elim!Mist? Teammates needed: Someone to submit the NK [see Bubbles teammates]. Problems: Why grab Acid? Viable lone elims: Gears [mechanically viable, fails when actual actions are accounted for] People who need teammates: Bubbles, Araris, Devotary, Mist, Ruby, Books, Archer. Bubbles, Araris, Devotary, Ruby, and Mist could not have submitted the NK. As such, these are prospective pairs. I'm removing Ruby from the pool of evil because elim!Ruby probably wouldn't LoW+ and Books because the Shadowblaze is a bit persnickety. Remaining pool of evil: Bubbles, Araris, Devotary, Mist, Archer. If any of this group is evil, Archer must be evil. There is the Books possibility, but then that begs the question: How did Lotus get Warding+? Remaining possibilities: Bubbles/Archer, Araris/Archer [actions make nonviable], Devotary/Archer [I mildly trust Devotary for actually scanning Bubbles, but this is tinfoil/aluminium foil hour]. Of these, I think Bubbles/Archer most likely. So... we're settled? X Bubbles? If they flip village, we can investigate elsewhere. Please tell me if any of this reasoning is nonsensical.

There are two possibilities here: 1. Bubbles and Devotary are elims together, Devotary is lying about Bubbles taking Chalk, Bubbles submitted the NK. Questions from this possibility: Why actually submit a scan then? Why not just lie and save the Chalk? Fearing a scan? Perhaps... Uncertainty. 2. Araris is the last elim, submitted the kill, lying about taking Chalk to incriminate Bubbles and Devotary. Questions: Why do that really strange post about Striker? Genuinely pushing for the mis-X? Both seem possible. We must discuss this and consider. We could take the route of X-ing Bubbles and then if she's village X-ing Araris. The tides seem to be flowing that way regardless. Which do we think more likely? Bubbles and Devotary as elims, or Araris alone?

All hail Kasimir, the one who guided us to greatness. Ni su'cuyi, gar kyr'adyc, ni partayli, gar darasuum. Let us honor him for his actions, for his sacrifice, for all the good he did and failed to do. Camp Supply disparity: -1 Acid, +1 Lantern. Kas had the Lantern, so that makes sense. Items could have been taken and cancelled with Kas adding. *ninja'd by Devotary* Thanks for the information. The pool of suspicion remains as follows: Bubbles, Devotary, Mist, Ruby in roughly that order. Speaking of Ruby: They used a LoW+ last night, so slightly improved opinion. I'd be willing to strike them from the X candidates. As Kas pointed out in the long ago times, Mist has not attempted to carry the favor of the village and they used a Map at a strange time, so I'd take them off as well. The X pool has narrowed to Bubbles and Devotary. I'll iso them later [I meant to do it in the night, but I procrastinated and the Shard ate it a few times.] EDIT: @Archer, who did you teach? @Person who was taught, verify this. The Servant of the Mad God stood before the still form of Duncan Kerr, the greatest Rithmatist that the Tower had seen in many a year. He was gone now, lost to the cause, but he left so much evidence behind. The runes drawn upon the earth were beautiful things, intricate and maddening, destruction and salvation dancing within their twisting coils. A last will and testament, of sorts, a masterpiece of chalk and blood, a worthy final act. Perhaps it was kindness, or perhaps mockery that drove him to take the slab of stone from the forest and lay it before the dead man's masterwork in a facsimile of a gravestone. Perhaps it was kindness, or perhaps mockery that drove him to carve words into the slab in a language that no one from this realm knew save for him. Perhaps it was kindness, or perhaps mockery that drove him to offer the man's legacy an epitaph. In any case, it was done, and all he could do was laugh at the taste of dust on the wind and blood on the floor and eyes gleaming in empty sockets. Here lies Duncan Kerr, Rithmatist of Rithmatists: Look upon his works, ye Mighty, and despair.

The Servant of the Mad God stood above the corpse of the Daughter of the Prime Forest, laughing as he let the irony of the situation whisper at the Forest that she had commanded. Life's own Child, devoted to the taking. Her bones would feed the Forest she called home, her heart would beat eternally within the Immortal Machine, and her eyes would be left for the crows, as was befitting of a traitor. Ignorance was no excuse. She was the mad one here, thinking that a new world and a spot of possession was all that it took to escape the binding oaths of the realm before. She had pledged herself to Life, and she thought she could escape the chains that bound her. Pure folly. She was bold, she was brave, and she was dead. He was clever, he was mad, and he was alive. It had won this round of the nonsense game they played, and she was returned to their world. Splendid. A chance to act without her interference. A rare thing, a precious thing, and one it would cherish. "May fortune follow in your footsteps," he whispered to her corpse in a mockery of a blessing. "May the wolves nip at your heels. May Death deny you your final rest." She had gambled, and she had lost. Now she was unworthy of consideration. He walked away, letting the trees take her bones. He would see and banter with another Daughter of the Prime Forest, a slightly different one with less blood on her hands, but it would not be the same. He did not want it to be the same. She was gone, and he remained, and theirs was a bond that no replacement could ever fulfill. He expected the same from her when he embraced Death with open arms. Farewell, he thought but did not say. I will never see you again. I predict 1 more, though we should promote caution and assume 2. The pool of evil remains much the same: Bubbles, Devotary, Ruby, Mist. I'll do an iso of them later [no school!] unless I get distracted again. It seems that many people took Rainbow Chalk. Understandable. I don't understand why Ruby wanted the Book of Silencing. That one seems useless to the village. Noted. Good night, I'll iso them in the morning, perhaps.

I've been ninja'd a dozen times, so ignore anything already addressed. The Lotus iso: Conclusion: Vague confusion, actions etc. fit elim, very very disengaged. A good option. I'm uncertain as to whether it's the best option, but definitely one that I would back without remorse. I'll do an iso of someone else later [school cancelled for the entire week]

I would be amenable to X-ing Lotus because of 1. instinctive distrust, 2. strange voting patterns. I will note that Lotus is always fairly disengaged, but I just have a negative gut opinion of them for reasons I don't know. I'll probably do an iso of the three Kas mentioned [Lotus, Bubbles, Devotary] at some point in the future since school has been canceled. I genuinely don't recall doing this, but that could just be my terrible memory. As of now, she's a comfortable null with vague confusion. I remember nothing of what they've done and don't really remember what she's said. I would not be opposed to their X. However, I have an instinctive distrust of Lotus that is absent for Bubbles. [Future Gears here, just realised I switched pronouns for the same person in the same paragraph. Is that weird?]

[INITIATING AON CHAIN] [INITIATING PERSONALITY MATRIX] [PERSONALITY MATRIX ONLINE] [INITIATING RECURSION] Roko the Basilisk moved in streams of data and light towards the Father, seeking out the journal that Fourth of the Dark had written. It knew where its killers were. It knew that they were still there. It knew that it could easily find them. Inevitable return. @Quintessential, you have to stop second-guessing yourself. You were right, then you were wrong. I smile at you with the vindictive spite of one who was right but concede the fact that you were also right, for a shining second before crashing down like a falling star, once glorious but now a ruin. Congrats to the elims, I somewhat had you pegged by the end but I think we would have mix-ed Reading before hitting Ash/Books, so you probably would have won eventually, just in a few more days. I was very disconnected this game. My apologies. I believe that was the cause of Quinn's turn against me [Also, we finally were on the same side, and you kill me anyways. We had better interpersonal relations when we were enemies!] and I will attempt to stay more engaged. I don't even have schoolwork as an excuse this time. Now to read the docs and see how much of a failure I was...

That Camp Supply is most definitely the work of several Maps. Net change: +5 Chalk, +6 Acid, +6 Bribes, +8 Crabs, +1 Map, +4 Rainbow Chalk, +1 Gun, -1 Book of Warding [Random Bystander took that, by the way], +1 Book of Vigor, +2 Books of Silencing. At least 3, probably more, Maps. I don't know what Ash had, but still. This is a lot. But we need more. So much more. Let us drown under the weight of poor decisions as we tear each other apart for the bountiful harvest. Let the chalk crumble to dust as we scrabble at the barren earth in search of treasure for the hoard. The Dragon that is the Camp roars in triumph as the Maps lead it to yet more items, yet more gleaming gold. The hunger that is the dragons' lot burns with a feverish madness, setting the mind on a singular goal: More. It hungers. It starves. It wants with a bitter ache that will never be fulfilled. Let longing claw the heart. Let fervor burn the soul. The Dragon wants. The Dragon needs. And so it takes. Ashbringer is an... interesting kill. Was it because they were relatively trusted while not having claimed a Line of Forbiddance? Then why didn't they kill me, a scanner of actions? As far as I can tell, the few distinguishing factors are Kas's trust and their Revocation+, and lots of people had Revocation+. Ah, ninja'd by Archer. They were rumored to have the Shadowblaze? I suppose that explains it. @Lanterns, what was Defense at?

Alas, the great Kasimir has led us astray! A note about Mist: They have been doing nothing to make the village trust them, which makes me think that they are TWTBAW. People I have noted as somewhat suspicious: Random Bystander, Lotus [gut]. Vague trusts: Kas, Araris. Last-second voters: Myself, Ash, Devotary. I think the reasoning from all of these were sufficient, though I will note them all. PSA: Someone with nothing better to do and Chalk to spare may want to drop a LoW in case the elims have the Shadowblaze. We just need 1 Line, so only do it if you genuinely have absolutely nothing beneficial to do otherwise.

I vaguely suspect Reading, and I consider Araris a very slight trust and Mist a complete null, so I might as well hope audentes Fortuna iuvat and the tie breaks in favor of my suspect. Mist has just been RNG-ing, but they did break free of that habit, which I consider a tiny point in their favor. I can't remember what Reading's done, so reasoning boils down to what Kas has said. I know just following isn't a great aesthetic, but I have been remarkably disengaged this cycle [I blame the snow]. If I have time, I might do an iso of Reading, but odds are I won't be available for a while [prospective return in 2 hours, so...] Pax vobiscum.

You make an excellent point, but we cannot be wrong. I would like your thoughts on everyone, even those you "trust". I hereby demote Second of Daybreak from a trust to a "Noted" until further analysis sways me. Ah yes, the Sabotage. Crew's Mess seems a bit silly. I'd have done the Main Office. All living people: Nettle: I know nothing, null. Quinn: Practically cleared at this stage. Condensation: Chaos, null. Danex: Noted. Sixth of the Twilight: Asleep Reading: Asleep Second of Daybreak: Suspicious voting patterns, did pretty analysis. Things to note: 3 remain, <= 1 of Danex and Daybreak, >=2 of the nulls. There is the possibility that the Saboteur!sleepers will die tonight, in which case, we should ignore them unless they return. Captain @Straw, are there any more substitutes, or will those who are asleep die? [OOC: Do you have pinchhitters, or will they be inactivity killed?]
-
This is the end unless we are right. I suspect that at least one of the sleepers is our catch. There are 8 of us remaining. If there are three Saboteurs, 5-3, if we choose wrong, we lose since they merely must reach parity. If there are 2, we are one day off. People I trust: Quinn, Second of Daybreak. People who are asleep: Sixth of the Twilight, Reading Other: Danex [who seems to be overplaying the case against claiming Saboteur], Condensation [who claimed Saboteur], Books [who has done absolutely nothing and replaced a sleepy person] We must be right. As such, I shall vote Sixth of the Twilight (Kings_way) as a start. Third of the Dawn made an excellent point about attention without substance. I would be willing to consider Reading as an acceptable alternative, and I am easily swayed by quality analysis if you have a better candidate.
-
@Dannex, villager = "a person who lives in a village". Village = "a group of houses and associated buildings". Condensation is a villager by virtue of dwelling in an area with houses and buildings. Saying "I'm a villager" means nothing. Crewmember = "a member of a crew". Condensation is a Crewmember by virtue of being a member of the crew of people who entered the ship. Any claim could be taken into a context outside the game. RP, banter, chatter, sarcasm. The words mean nothing. EX: "I am a Southern Influence Commerce Syndicate Crewmember" could indicate faction, or it could indicate self-identity, or roleplay character identity. This line of questioning leads nowhere. You seem to be over-emphasising this, and this is not kind to Condensation. I ask that you cease and desist this futile effort.
-
@Dannex, "claim" has many meanings. You seem to be making the assertion that Condensation is claiming [to be] elim. There are other meanings. EX: Claiming [ownership over] elim, claiming [the life of] elim, claiming [a kill on] elim, claiming [the position of] elim, claiming [to be] elim [at a future date], claiming [responsibility for] elim, claiming [the right to] elim, claiming [a demand to be] elim, claiming [calling for] elim, etc. Do you understand? Condensation is not declaring alignment, but instead being deliberately vague with word choice.
-
The robotics tournament was postponed/canceled because of "bad weather". [For those wondering, I did fairly alright yesterday, my team won a few matches, lost a few matches] This means that I will be here for a bit! I do have a CS competition later though This would actually be my primary assumption if elim!Books. If Books acquired the Shadowblaze, they could keep quiet and use a Line to ensure that Books gets trust. If Books failed, they could just claim the Acid and earn a bit of credit. Frees up action economy, etc. I think this makes the elim!Books scenario more likely, particularly the 2 elim subpoint. They'd just need the one LoW in that case, not even Specialised. C'est moi. Needed to make up for not taking Chalk during the Day. Others in pool of unclaimed actions: What did you do? Tangent: New nickname for Random Bystander: Ruby [RBy -> Ruby]. The Servant of the Mad God watched the gunman bury the corpse of the one he had killed, flipping Chalk in his hands as he pondered the nature of power and corruption. The ability to take a life was... dazzling. Smoke and fire and metal and blood contained within a fragile shell. The ability to irrevocably alter the world, to strike down that which does not please, to tear apart what was in favor of what shall be. Heady and addictive and so, so maddening. He knew that power intimately. He knew the guilt, or lack thereof, that came from being wrong [even if he never felt it]. He knew that "sane" people didn't usually take to it well. Some did not kill again. Some tore themselves apart. Some returned to a fallacy of normalcy. Evan Wallace seemed to fall in the third category. The eternal search, only expanded. Fascinating. He moved through the camp slowly yet surely, projecting an aura of casual confidence as he moved towards the tent of Shimamura Sakura. He had spoken to her a few times, bantering about idle nothings. She had seemed pleasant enough, and she'd trusted him somehow. Foolish. The grave was very rigid, at exact angles and measurements. As one would expect from a military encampment, but still, Sakura had managed to make each grave seem more individualised. He chuckled softly, watching the cold earth. With a soft sigh, he adopted the Doctrine of Brutality [Kindness is a weakness. To be kind is to be mad. Take and take and never stop]. Out of a weak fragment of "kindness", he spilled a small handful of his chalk dust onto the grave. The plants responded and grew despite all logic, all reason, all sanity dictating otherwise, what with the chalk and the acid staining the barren earth. Antirrhinum, lycoris, chrysanthemum, iberis. A morbid bouquet that would die within days. He left the grave, transitioning to a different Doctrine as he abandoned the corpse. There was work to be done.

[OOC: My apologies for my absence, I was at a robotics tournament yesterday [which I said in the other game but forgot to say here], but [un]fortunately, it was canceled due to "bad weather", so I can be here today instead of gone for 14 hours.] It seems that in my absence, they have managed to find a Saboteur. Grazie. I shall investigate what Illwei has said in. Quinn and Third of the Dawn seem fairly cleared at this stage. Seemed willing to kill First of the Stars. The Illwei vote did indeed have little resistance. Are the rest of the Saboteurs inactive/asleep at that time? Seems odd. I would actually concur with this, especially since they seem vehemently against claiming Saboteur when they haven't been in the past. Do keep in mind that Condensation never lies, so that might distort things. Noted for later.

1. Unless I'm misremembering, Lantern is passive. 2. I don't see the point of minimising Lines. If the Lanterns show one more than reported, then we trust them, and this way, we don't risk being overrun. Either way, the elims can throw Defense to cover it, so why risk it? I have a robotics tournament today and tomorrow, so I may not be able to get on at all for the rest of the turn and a good amount of the next one.

A Ventyl clarification: Sart was in error, they had indeed passed me the Clock. I have successfully thrown the Clock at someone else who I will not be revealing. Previous Camp Supply: Things Taken: 2 Chalk, 1 Lantern, 1 Book of Revocation, 1 Gun, 1 Shadowblaze New Camp Supply: Discrepancies: +2 Chalk, +1 Lantern, +1 Spring-Powered Crab, +1 Map. Unless Striker was a hoarder, someone used a map. @Kasimir, was Striker the anon Lantern holder? So I was wrong. Alas. As my suspicion of Araris was predicated on the bus, I feel a bit better about them now, oddly enough. Votes on Striker: Kas, Gears, Bubbles, Araris, Lotus, Ash, Devotary. Of those, I vaguely trust Kas and to a lesser extent, Araris. Lotus and Ash have been a solid null for the entire game. I instinctively think well of Bubbles, but that could be bias, also a null. I've mentioned suspicions of Devotary before, but I'm uncertain. Kas, Gears, Araris, and Bubbles gave reasoning that I remember. The others did not [if I forgot you, I apologise] Concerning Ventyl: I trust them a bit more because of the Clock debacle. If they were an elim, surely they would have kept the Clock. Alternatively, they're setting up to kill me. I suppose we shall see. I don't have the Clock anymore, so using that as a kill excuse is useless. I will note that Reading has consistently been right about alignment of the doomed. Food for thought and paranoia. I suppose we shall soon learn about Books's alignment. They'll be under a bit of scrutiny, so I expect elim!them to take an actual action or lie and say they tried for items. While Defense is a good indicator, there is the possibility that the elims have been using Defensive items just for this scenario. Acknowledge the following: Defense is not an infallible indicator. Also, watch Archer now. It would be easy for Books to say the Shadowblaze was stolen and pass it to them, or just actually have it be stolen and the elims pass it to Archer. I had thoughts, but I can't remember them, and I'm tired, and I have schoolwork, so I'll be signing off for the night. If this post is a rambling mess of paranoia, then I lament the loss of eloquence. See you in the morning.

Everything that has been said today because I'm certain that I missed something. Ash: Shadowblaze Kas: Ni su'cuyi, gar kyr'adyc, ni partayli, gar darasuum. Gleaming bronze and gunpowder in memory of the fallen ones. Gears: Plots. GET THE SHADOWBLAZE. Kas: Book of Warding significantly less important than implied. [Good point.] Archer: If X elim, may grab gun on way out to kill villager. [Clever] Votes Ventyl and asks about the Clock. Striker: Death? Lotus: Cheers to the Thief Devotary: Roleblock X target [good idea, someone get on that and hit Striker]. Shadowblaze must be verified by Lanterns. Ventyl does not have the Clock. [Good to know.] Ash: Double map! Willing to kill any of Striker, Gears, Ventyl. Kas: Delightful RP with puns ["Wyrmed"] and the cold, bitter ache that comes from knowing that this is the end. Striker: Questions legitimacy. Votes Ventyl for prior reasons [Clock, general behavior, etc?]. Willing to slaughter Gears, Devotary, or Araris as well. Araris: Thinks vil!Ventyl. Votes Striker for post against Gears. Striker: Scapegoat? Elims killed suspicions, left alive, talkative. Also, sheep villager strategically superior. Araris: Disagrees. Striker: Thinks elims setting up for easy mix. Kas: Ventyl and Striker not elims together, Ventyl hard to read, Books confusing since Order could use their LoW to claim actions but still suspicious [good point, could just not have thought of it? But good to note], noting Ash, Reading, Random as well. Notes that TUO hasn't been trying to implicate for entire game, so why start now? [Another point: The Order vote was made 2 minutes after Striker's. Not enough time to confer about implications and/or get a countermand], no benefit for hanging Order for Striker, vote patterns, conjures suspicion of Condensation, implications about TUO, etc. [Kas is, as always, brilliant. All hail.] Araris: 1 Defense last night. [No reason to lie.] Striker: Argument as follows: Elim should sheep villager in general, not elims [context of accusation makes this counterargument somewhat nullified], tunneling, was busy, didn't mean TUO not suspicious. Kas: Invokes the names of the lost [and apparently, I'm "vocal". That's a new label]. Secondary suspicion of Reading. Thinks Striker X more informative [very true]. Sheeping unlikely since Order [we need to consolidate this nickname. Is it Order or TUO?] hadn't voted. Gears: Votes Striker with a lengthy post as to why. Points: Weaving a malicious narrative, Order vote. Bubbles: Votes Striker because paranoia is an insidious poison. Ventyl: Clock confusion. Striker: Retracts a nonexistent Gears vote, will always defend a teammate, Gears's points moot. Kas: Tells Ventyl to chat with Sart in PM and get back to us, votes Reading. Random: Incomprehension. Araris: Summary Random: Thanks Kas: TALK. Votes Random. Archer: Ventyl speculation. Random: OK. Striker: Asks Kas to join them on Araris or Reading. Gears: Does not have the Clock. Investigates Striker points, comes up wanting. Random: Why sus? Araris: Only getting involved when suspicion falls. Archer: As above. Random: Ah Kas: Can never read Ventyl. Outlines reasons against Random and Reading. Striker: Scapegoat, conversation drain, etc. Doesn't have good suspicions. Ash: Metaphors... Busy Devotary: Reading thoughts, Ventyl no Clock, Special Revocations are Ash and Ventyl, maybe stolen? Ventyl: Submitted pass, conf PM said thief... Araris: GM has a bit of fun with replies. Archer: OoA, ponderings Araris: Clarifications Ventyl: Capitalization... Ash: Waiting for clarification Books: Vaguely suspicious of Araris Kas: STINK may have stolen, more Lanterns = good Striker: Sart can be "a bit silly" Archer: SACRILEGE. Books has good point. Araris: If bus, Striker = elim, happy with X. Kas: Bus! Ash: Other actions, Books? Kas: Banter Devotary: Had Crab, used. Sart: May or may not have made mistake... Ash: Ventyl? Books: Actions Elandera: Do not share wording of GM PM as confirmation. Archer: Retracts Ventyl, recaps, votes Books for "forgetting actions", probably was submitting elim kills Books: Could have said tried and failed for actions, obviously better lie. Kas: Probably not since TUO could have used as cover. Votes Araris. Striker: Votes Araris for going back and forth on Gears and Striker. Ventyl: Reasoning? Reading: Votes Ventyl for Clock things. Kas: Banter. Ventyl: Issue has been resolved, votes Reading. [Also, Crab is a Night action] Kas: Reasoning is unnecessary. Ventyl: Did you? Ash: Why Gears? Ventyl: Trust [thanks] Kas: Links Ventyl: Reasoning? Kas: None! Lotus: Bread Reading: Retracts Ventyl Gears: Araris iso, concludes that logic is hard. Random: Twilight Zone Kas: Knows of second Lantern. Araris: Doesn't think actions have been suspicious Lotus: Kettles. Reading: Banter. Lotus: Comprehension. Kas: If villagers talking into corners, will engage in unspeakable acts against chulls. Gears: Actions Ash: Finds "why would elim!self do X" inherently suspicious. Books: Votes Araris. Kas: Game divided into two blocs, should look for suspicions based on Striker flip [I think there are elims on both sides of the issue, if only because that's my personal elim philosophy], votes Striker. [Everyone should read Kas's posts and acknowledge their greatness. Mist: Exists, reads, forsakes the Gods of Luck and Chance. Ash: Mist, actions? Mist: Items. Conclusions: Nothing except the glory of Kasimir. Also, Striker has to die because of information. This vaguely reminds me of the DaneX in QF50. We left them alive and they ate up so much discussion that the village tore itself apart on it. All of our suspicions hinge on Striker. They must die. I must depart for the time being as schoolwork exists. Do not expect me back for another few hours.

Good, good. No. I grabbed Chalk in preparation for the future. I never want to be in a scenario where I'm out of Chalk. Actions are as follows: D1: Took Book. N1: Took Chalk. D2: Tried to take Acid. N2: LoM on Araris, saw him draw LoW. D3: Took Chalk. N3: LoM on Striker, saw them take Clock. D4: Took Chalk. N4: LoM on Araris, saw.them take Acid. My entire suspicion of Araris predicates on Striker being an elim, so it's not implausible.

An iso of Araris Valerian. There were definitely replies in the intervening hours since I started this, but I haven't looked at them for fear the Shard eating it. [Future Gears here: It's been 3 hours. If there haven't been ninjas, I'm disappointed in you but pleased. If there have been, I lament my lack of knowledge as to the events.] Non-post reasons for trusting Araris: I've only ever scanned him to be doing villagery things. +1 Defense, taking Acid. Could be elim trickle-feeding Defense and stockpiling items, could be genuine villager. Conclusion: Araris is either a villager with that one strange post about Gears, TUO, and Striker, or a bussing elim. Either way, I think Striker is an elim. As an aside, I would like to note that I want a second Lantern so we can ensure Araris's veracity. End result: Uneasy null. That one D4 post obliterates the tentative village read.
