I am completely confused now. I am not removing my vote on Ventyl because otherwise Gears would die who, in my opinion, has less probability than Ventyl of being elim. But I don't feel that Ventyl is elim any longer? Completely confused now.

Wait a second aren't there another 24 hours before rollover?

But we do not know any thing about Fortune, while we do have some knowledge about Quantum Mechanics. Also, the two expplanation have entirely different predictions, as Fortune is related to Cognitive and thus is unlikely to show somebody exploding. But what do you predict Electrum would show in the above two cases?
-
I doubt that this is what electrum shows. Quantum decoherence is a very small scale phenomenon, at the level of humans reality is basically deterministic.
-
The main problem I see with this is that electrum only offers a few seconds foresight. Also, I am unsure of how electrum works. If you resolve to walk in a striaght line and then burn electrum will you only see one shadow? What if you have lots of F-zinc stored and you resolve to follow none of the shadows you see?

The Last Post Wins!!!!!

Boom -
Matrim is being suspicious, but I don't think that Ventyl and Matrim both could be elims. There is a high chance that Ventyl might be lynched this cycle and I doubt that an elim would stick their neck out this much. I will be more suspicious of Matrim in Ventyl flips village.

Storm it, Danex. -
I know this, I am inclined to trust Matrim. I still think it is likely for Ventyl to be an elim but Matrim is leaning village.
-
Well, people did make good points against Ventyl being an elim. Matrim's Dice has been squired by Ventyl and this point I am inclined to trust them. Would an elim be so aggressive in defending their teammate? I don't know but I think it is unlikely. More experienced people, feel free to correct me. One thing I am feeling weird about is the number of times that people have misunderstood Gears posts. Is this simply because of their language? Can anyone offer a reason for this? It feels deliberate.
-
Not roleclaiming would avoid the situation? Not sure what you are getting at here. It is way past my bedtime and I am going to sleep.
-
I get this. But why would Ventyl set up this situation??? This situation is clearly bad for the village and could have easily been avoided.
-
Sigh.... I think we are misunderstanding each other here. I will try to summarize our conversation and you can tell me if I have misunderstood you: I said that Ventyl roleclaiming was bad for village. You argued that his roleclaiming was only bad for the village because we were focusing so much on him. I argued that IF we wouldn't have focused on him he would have been killed by the elims. So, this was a lose-lose situation for the village.
-
But this is assuming that we ARE focusing on Ventyl. If we wouldn't have focused on them, Ventyl would probably have been the first lynch.
-
I will admit that I am new to this game, but wouldn't the elims kill Ventyl? Isn't the loss of a village KR bad for the village? This is probably true. But Ventyl as a village KR and with the way he is acting would have been a very easy and lucrative lynch for the elims. To be fair, it is possible that the elims *were* pursuing his lynch but put Striker in the opposite position as... insurance?
-
Not many. I am suspicious of anybody who is defending Ventyl, but I too might be tunneling. Yes, but his actions actively hurt the village, if he is actually a KR. If he is not a KR, then... why is he lying so much? Why was Striker defending him?
-
This is somewhat what I had in mind when asking the question.
-
I don't agree with this. TJ only claimed after there was a high probability that they would be lynched, in an attempt to save himself. This would be pretty NAI because a village Radiant would also do this. About Ventyl, if I think he is a fairly new player? I am basically basing this upon their number of posts which are only 205. I agree that elim!Ventyl would not do this, but a village!Ventyl would not do this either. A villager is much much more unlikely to do this than an eliminator, simply because there is no possible way this could help the village. I have only played OF45 with them, in which they were village. However, if I remember correctly TJ did get frantic in that game when they were a serious lynch suspect. In my opinion, they simply become frantic when there is a good chance of them dying. I only seem pseudo-active because my timezone is very different. I will be going offline in about half an hour but the discourse is just starting. EDIT: I would like all the people who are reading Ventyl as village to at least attempt to answer my four questions to Ventyl.
-
This doesn't really matter. If you can adequately answer these questions, many people(me included) would reconsider: Why did you roleclaim as a KR? Why, after us telling you not to give information about yourself in the thread, you continued to do so? If you are village why would these statements be helpful to the village? Did you actually think that they would be helpful? StrikerEZ continuously defended you after knowing that you are a KR, they have now been revealed as an elim. Why would an elim defend a village KR? I will admit that Gears advoacting for TJs lynch rubbed me the wrong way, especially since TJ is a pretty strong village read. However, that is all speculation and right now Ventyl is much more likely to be elim.

About squiring, I think that Ventyl was simply confused between actions and stormlight charges. This is probably NAI. However, there is plenty of other evidence against Ventyl.
