  1. Hyron nodded, then walked up to Miyako, and took her hands in theirs, examining them. The revelations during the storm on deck helped with feeling less embarrassed, but Hyron still felt a blush climbing to their cheeks. "Where else are you injured?" Hyron asked softly.

Basically, for me and @DoomslugLuna's 6 month anniversary (hippity hoppity i'm happity) I wrote her a song which I spent like three weeks working on. I showed it to her last night, she got really excited.

There was much hugs, and much talking and snuggles and it was very fun.

I will post the song here now for those who wish to listen. @Szeth's Facepalm you've already heard it so I guess enjoy it again or smth idk.

  5. Calano sat down, scribbling something on the paper in front of him. "We have two people Connected to Kaos. Can we use that to our advantage, and if yes, how?"
  6. "Good!" Hyron shouted. "We should actually get below now!" Hyron looked at Miyako's hands. "I'll help you with your hands when we're below." Then they turned and began walking across the deck, contemplating what he had realized.
  7. funny Babatharnam government man ahaha *dies by Szeth death*
  8. 3 things occured when Miyako split. One, Hyron immediately feared for her safety. Two, Hyron realized something. They were in love with Miyako. It all made sense now. She was skilled, beautiful, and all around a badass. They couldn't help but realize how awesome Miyako was, and everything that had happened before finally made sense. Dammit. And three, Hyron realzied they had to help out. Hyron used vines to lash together the sails quickly and efficiently, anchoring themselves to the deck in the process. The sails had to be tucked away, to prevent the ship from being too violently blown around. The ship just had to be able to weather the storm. Hyron didn't know how they knew this, but it just seemed to make sense. The revelations of the past 2 minutes had somehow boosted the mental capacity of Hyron.
  9. Hyron created a thick, powerful vine, which wrapped around their waist, Miyako's waist, and then wrapped itself to the railing of the ship, firmly anchoring them to the ship. "I'm gonna be honest," Hyron shouted to Miyako, "I've always wanted to see a storm. Although, I never expected to be in the middle of one." Hyron was very aware of their hand in Miyako's. @Mr. Misting
  10. Hyron opened their mouth to say something, noticing what they'd done, but when Miyako squeezed their hand, they shut their mouth and nodded once, agreeing with Miyako. They didn't feel like shouting. They had the distinct impression they'd say or do something stupid if they opened their mouth.
  11. Hyron looked down at the ocean. Looked down. Because the boat had rocked so far to the side that they could see the ocean. Below them. And Yerik was messing with their gravity. Instinctively, out of fear of the storm and of Yerik's blaspheming, Hyron grabbed the nearest thing. Which turned out to be Miyako's wrist. Hyron didn't immediately notice because of the weird gravity and the storm. @Mr. Misting
  12. holy crud. oh rusts. oh gods. oh good heavens. i am so amazingly happy for you your best friend is the most amazing person ever and i want to give thema hug on your behalf. dude good luck, hope it goes well.
  13. Calano blinked, then put his hands up. "Wait, wait, wait. Run that by me again. You're connected to Kaos more than the Nethergrim?"
  14. Hyron sat up as leaves from their vine ball began to fall off, and gather on the floor. The leaves on the floor moved back and forth, and Hyron noted the ship rocking violently back and forth. They created a sharp edged club, and slashed through their vine cocoon, jumping out of bed and out the door. They rushed onto the deck, and looked up, seeing the massive, looming, onyx black clouds. They cursed, "Stalks," and heard Yerik shout, "-can help!" They ran up to Yerik as the wind ripped across the deck, making Hyron shiver and lean forward against it. The wind sounded... in pain. "What's going on?" They shouted.
  15. Hyron's brow furrowed as Miyako shoved past them, and they stumbled back a couple of steps. That had been strangely bold of them to do that. They glared at the vine, which lay lifeless on the ground. They pointed at it. "This is your fault," They said. They then walked out of the room, leaving Yerik alone. They grabbed their pack off the deck, walked to the back of the ship, selected an empty room. They pointedly ignored the closed door. They walked into their room, spread dirt around the bed, then grew a large ball of vines and plants around themselves and the bed. They lay there, staring at the large purple flower staring down at them. "Don't look at me like that," They said to it, "I don't know what that was." They contemplated what the hell was going on, because stalks, something was going on.
  16. Calano stood up, laying his hands on the table. He nodded to Bookwyrm and his team. "Good luck to you all. I hope you return with good news. On our end we'll do everything we can about keeping Kaos contained." A thought suddenly occured to him. He turned to Emma, and asked, "Is the Nethergrim connected to Kaos?" @The Wandering Wizard
