  1. Depends. Sometimes yes, sometimes no. TPBM is hungry.
  2. Listen, I don't know why the grass went BACK INTO the ground. This place is weird...
  3. She.... She turned into a winged lizard and flew away laughing and screaming "mcdonalds burritos!" It is not my fault.
  4. Suck it back in and remember everything. What would you do if you found me in your pocket?
  5. Calano stumbled out the door, a Croling tangled in his hair, and another dizzily swaying on his shoulder. "The Crolings... Are they all ok?"
  6. Calano stands, swaying with the house, using his wings to balance on the shifting winds. "What the hell is going on?"
  7. Calano stares at the pieces of the device, and struggles to maintain his balance.
  8. Calano smiled, almost sadly. "I will miss that one. See to it nothing bad happens to him."
  9. The Croling seemed taken aback, then looked at Calano. Calano extended his hands, and the Croling flew up into them. They looked at each other for a couple of minutes, before Calano nodded solemnly. "Don't be a bother." He whispered to the Croling. He cupped his hands around it, whispered something in a different language, and gestured to Rond. "This one has been Unbound from this place. He may now go with you, and you may choose a name for it. He will help you." Calano said to Rond. The Croling flew up on top of Ronds head and chirped cheerfully.
  10. "I don't know if they qualify as living things. Technically, by the scientific definition, they aren't 'alive,' but they do have a consciousness, and can be quite clever sometimes." As if on cue, one of the Crolings flew onto Calano's head and began gently pecking at his eyebrow. "Sometimes." Calano said.
  11. Calano paused. "Forget I asked. What do you want to do with my Crolings?"
  12. The Croling bobbed it's head up and down, chirping softly. Calano shut the door after the man who's horse died. He turned to Rond. "Now," He began, "Who are you?"
  13. The Croling chirped something that sounded like a laugh, and it's chest opened. A small piece of paper with a comprehensive paragraph about it emerged, enough info to properly catalogue it for Rond. "I don't know, and honestly, you've caused me a great deal of annoyance, so I'm sorry, I am, but I don't care."
  14. "The farthest any of them have been outside of this room is not even a foot. I keep track of all of them. They've never left, and they're fine with that. I. Didn't. Kill. Your. Horse. Nor did anything I've created." A Croling hopped up to Rond and chirped, hopping onto a hand Rond extended.
  15. Calano glared at Rond. "Not up to me. Ask one of them. They'll probably ask me, but they like to be asked first."
  16. The Crolings chirped defensively as the man stepped over the threshold. "For your own safety, I'm asking you once to step back outside. The Crolings don't like it when strangers get aggresive. They will attack, and there will be very little I can do to stop them. Please step outside."
  17. "Well, I can say with confidence I haven't made anything large enough OR dangerous enough to kill a horse."
  18. "The Crolings are harmless. Your horse was probably mauled by a bear, and you're looking for someone to pin the blame on."
  19. "I don't have demonic creatures. I tinker with small things. I don't create beasts. I tinker."
  20. "Sir, I think you have the wrong guy." Calano began to shut the door.
