Calano turns back into his human form and grabs Bookwyrm by the shoulders. "Find the problem. Get us the tapes. Report back. I'm trusting you with this, don't mess up." He sends Bookwyrm to the janitorial closet in an outer wing of the clinic with a note that says, This room can expand without notifying the Magical Expansions Alert System. Use it wisely. Calano turned to Emma. "Continue our search while we wait?" He asks, turning back into a white panther.

Calano reached out mentally, gently probing the defenses of the clinic. He felt it too. Something was very, very wrong. He turned to Emma. "Our parents will have to wait. The Clinic is compromised." He turned back to Bookwyrm. "What do you propose we do?"

Calano cursed, then slid to a stop. "Bookwyrm." He said, "What's wrong? What is it?"

Calano grins, morphing himself into a panther, but bright white and sparkling in the afternoon sun. "Or, we could race." And he takes off, out of the forest and into a clearing.

Calano grins. "Onward!" And they sprint in a random direction to find their destiny.

"I know you will," Calano responds, "And we will prove your brain wrong. We will find them." Calano begins to walk away, and Emma follows, holding his hand. "We'll make our way through the forest and find them."

Calano immediately turns to look her in the eyes, grabbing her other hand. "It wasn't. I looked into this world many times over the course of my being the head of the clinic. It was all true. I watched the Scourge many times. The Father is right, it was only recently defeated, I just haven't looked into this world for so long, I did not know." He presses a hand against the tree. "Father, do you know where our parents are?" Far from here, Son of Sky. Far, far from here. But a man and woman of you're talents, the both of you should be able to easily find them. Calano looks back at Emma. "If there's even the slightest chance I can see my parents, and you can see my parents, I'm taking that chance. No matter the cost."

Shortly after defeating the Scourge, they discovered secrets left behind. Secrets to longevity of life. They still live. They still live, and they are also Home.

Calano stares in shock at the tree. "I... Yes, I believe we are. So this," He says to the Father, "This is where we were before? This world had the Scourge?" Indeed. The Scourge plagued this land for many centuries. It was not until recently that the Scourge was vanguished. Vanguished by a very special group of guerilla fighters. You may know them, I believe.

And to the Son of Sky, I speak to you. You have a destiny here. Larger than what you previously believed. You have been scarred, loved one's taken from you, both recently and farther in the past. Do not despair. I offer help in the form of Home. Welcome Home.
