  1. LG91 I broke a tie onto Xino and got exed for it D1. A bit different situations then, but Xino was V then too. Essentially I don't want to push them rn, but more for meta reasons / inability to read them than me having a solid V Read. Hi Flash, how's it going
  2. Perhaps, but it doesn't make sense for there to be another Neutral Faction hunted by another specific Neutral, especially with that specific Neutral claiming D1... that and his claimed role doesn't seem to make that much sense. Granted, I'm not expecting most roles to make sense, but PM Spider who only has made 3 PMs by D6? Ouch. I don't want to exe Wiz, but I'm keeping an eye, I guess.
  3. Haven't done one of these in a while... but I haven't needed to catch up in a while. Fadran, Shining, Bookwyrm(?) and Wiz(?) have all sort-of softed Neutral (Wiz more by immediately assuming all World Cuppers are Neutral, which is interesting.) TKN claimed vanilla, then claimed Midfielder after Aman said the first Footballer claimant would get a free pass. Wiz claimed PM Spider after Stick supposed PM Spider as a role. (Then again, I guessed Striker earlier... and penalty kicks... and yes Stick guessed I was Santa Klaus in MR56) Araris claimed at least partially a role D1. That does feel strange to me. Nothing Biplet or Dannex said stuck with me - I think Dannex just posted the once, while Bip posted a few times and has claimed busyness. It's now a 3-way tie between Striker, Bookwyrm, and Walin, yes? I could be convinced to go for Walin. Shining, Fadran, or Dannex I also like. Striker, Wiz, Aman not so much. Xino is what happened last time and it didn't go well. And can people please Green Out their votes if they change their vote, that might be what's throwing off the tallybot so much and it makes my brain hurt. And run run run
  4. I'm working on things. Idk what I think about the attention from Fadran decreasing, but I don't necessarily E-read them. Also I think Striker is a Striker which leaves me curious. But we have some time. I still like Dannex as an option.
  5. Okay that‘s a lot of posts. I’m gonna go eat and then maybe look at things. RandBy claimed RPer as their role.
  6. I haven't really done any big focus posts tonight. Just pointed out a few things Aman has said. And Dannex hasn't said much in the meantime (or maybe I'm just blind). Edit: hey 3,000 Posts!
  7. What would their hypothetical win-cons be though? Score a penalty kick? Outnumber other factions? Pull off a WGG to get someone Removed from the game?
  8. (From Aman because multiquote on mobile is aaaah) These two immediately after each other makes me weirded out.
  9. Okay one of these days someone’s going to lie about the vote count being wrong and we’re all going to go along with it and exe Orlok or something.
  10. Sounds like it is possible there’s secret roles we may have to deal with, but there’s not shenanigans like Calamity where we have to. Village (and Elims) still win through their posted wincons. Idk if a secret SK with a “be the last one standing” could be in play, but the JOEs (spreading Conversions) might be. That was a feature of LG53 iirc.
  11. I think focusing on Aman's Referee role is a bad idea, yeah. It doesn't scare me as much as Calamity did in MR56, and if it starts becoming an issue we can deal with it then. Plus, it might just be a random claim like Striker did. Trolling might be a central mechanic, or even the other extra roles, but we've got other people who claim (can't really tell if seriously or not) that they interact with Trolling. Also to the PM people, I'd request not to gain PMs. You seem to have plenty of requests already and Ash is allergic In case you are a Villager - Eliminators and other smaller factions typically get a shared Google Doc that they can talk to each other in. The fact an Elim Doc exists (assuming Elims exist) is one of the few things we actually know.
  12. Hey that's Lamentation's thing But I think this is probably a Dark / Doctor Who thing. Dannnnnex
  13. "It will be used," Cassie said offhandedly. "As for the Forgery... I don't know if it changed me. Or rather, how much of my transformation was from the Forgery or from me. But the Alleystorm grants the city a massive amount of Investiture, regularly. I'd imagine something on that scale would need... much more. A Well's worth, at least. And then the same power to undo it, or the same power being unleashed as it's undone... but we don't get to flow down the river, we just break against the current." She'd died to become what she was. She knew that. But with what was happening to these two... maybe she'd died earlier than she'd thought. She looked back at Balance. "Rusts, that's definitely worse. The... temporary abilities, they don't affect the spreading at all?"
  14. Anyone who played LG71 should remember LG15a and LG15b, and why there is an A and B... Or, you know, some people who were around way back then.
  15. TJ! Keeper or Striker, methinks… or something more literal.
  16. (Side note - I’m not talking in quotes all game for actual game related things, as it quickly becomes complicated on mobile ) I’m taking nothing for granted atm. We did have one old QF where the Village had to find out where deaths were coming from, where there weren’t actually Elims. But yeah, assume we can actually make progress here somehow. That would be good to see… although MU scares me. I have a few ideas (mostly just looking at votes a lot) but the more the merrier. The thing is we only had a real lead after Archer claimed he could ressurect people / had indications early of the fliplessness. Then Stick arsoned, V!Thaid killed two Villagers, and Devo claimed in one cycle and we were completely lost again. Kas and Aman went down the same turn and I was too dumbfounded to push through organization. (Though I tried to get Devo.) TLDR, we were doing good, then we weren’t, then we were, then we weren’t, aaaaaah, please be organized.
  17. Ash the Amateur rushed to his desk. Well, “rushed” was relative. Slightly faster than the slog across campus, when relief was so near and yet needing to stop in order to open the door. Playing Pathfinder wasn't nearly as exhausting as Biochemistry, but... still, sitting down in a chair with a functional back was a nice change. Relief can be relative too. Ash paused for a moment, then pulled out his laptop, grabbed his earbuds, and told YouTube to play something. He should really get Spotify one of these days. Had the LG started yet? Fifth had said less than an hour… yep, there it is. Oh. Oh dear. “Okay…” Ash said, trying to catch up to everything. “Actual Eliminators. Not good. Limited to the subforum, at least.” He didn’t post much outside of it, but there were a few places he looked at from time to time. “Let’s see what I can do, then,” he said, and began to write. Ashbringer had arrived. “Alright. So all we know is that bad things are happening. No idea who’s doing them, no idea what else we have to work with. I do want to mention briefly the possibility there are no Eliminators, and either this is set up for the Gods Beyond’s amusement or something else is involved. But until we see something strange, I say assume things are standard alignment-wise.” Perhaps a bit of stating the obvious, but sometimes the obvious needed to be stated.” “We also don’t have several luxuries. What to analyze. I have my classics, but it would be much easier to determine things if everyone votes each cycle. Vote analysis is hard with alignments, but there can still be patterns.” He looked around. A lot of familiar faces. Some newer, some older, but only a few that were entirely new. He'd come a long way since LG66... that had been fun, but he'd been new and sometimes it showed. Always fear the KGB, or Pyro-Mage-TJ equivalent. But he could do this. Or could try. “And if that doesn’t work, I’ve got a few tricks,” he said, holding out his hand. A beat. Two. Then a large, straight sword with two indentations down the side appeared in his palm. “See, I won a bet recently. But Faleast didn’t get Nale’s Honorblade,” Ashbringer said, grinning. “I did.” Ash paused. That fit. Was the Lamentation epigraph a bit much? Eh, it had been a while. And he had a few ideas what to do with it. This didn't seem like a time to try and get away with speaking in only RP, anyway. He should probably go work on homework.
  18. It had been a while since the 2 hour mark had been said
