  1. I mean, I personally don't use any, except maybe 'man' on occasions. But I'm a nerd, and not at all a stereotypical male, so don't ask me...
  2. Ah okay. That makes me much more inclined to trust you. Safe to say, I won't be switching off.
  3. Yeah, I'm with you there. Devotary's argument wasn't bad, but I don't want to be singled out as the sole person to switch off if she flips elim, and it is the best lead we have atm. @StrikerEZ, @Straw, @TJ Shade, @Kasimir, you are are also voters of Devotary. What are your thoughts of the argument she made? I might switch off, if the reasoning for it stays this tight. Both sides of the argument are plausible and possible and I don't know what to think. Makes me want to just lynch Devotary anyway, as it would give us good info on Sart/Kas. But then I don't know, because an alignment scanner is a very good role that we wouldn't want to mislynch.
  4. Sorta makes me nervous how explicitly you are pushing this. If Devotary flips village I may return to suspecting you. Note: I do not find this a likely possibility but I want to note all possible outcomes. I generally agree with your statement.
  5. I mean, this technically would be possible. If this were the case Sart would probably be telling the truth. But this: Makes that less likely. I'm with Kasimir on this. Very sorry if you're village, but it's not looking that way. I think my vote will be staying.
  6. ...Oh. Okay. Lotus, Devotary. With that reveal voting Lotus is useless.
  7. Then Butt realized it was his birthday! No, seriously. Butt Ad Venture is on the 'today's birthdays' section on the front page.
  8. Yeah, I decided it is iconic as well. The guilt of forgoing Mat gave in... So it stays! So does the new pfp/title, though.
  9. Basically the same thing I suspected you for earlier, that is posting filler things, not committing to votes, etc, along with sort of fitting the elim profile Kas mentioned. (Assuming I'm remembering that right). The difference between you and Devotary, who have/is now being suspected for those things, is that you both responded, which I take as good cred. You started posting reads- the majority of which I agree with, iirc. Devotary defended themselves multiple times, and while they may not be generally agreed with, they are there, fighting against the peripheral elim profile. That's something I think is good. Additionally, I don't find Kas's reason for voting Devotary as golden as people have made it seem. It's a good point, sure, but not an invaluable one.
  10. I also have arrived to vote Lotus, as she is still my strongest elim suspicion. I agree that the amount of votes less then halfway through the cycle is a bit striking. It's odd how quickly those piled up. It's been asked many times before, and I'll ask it again: @Sart, who did you attempt to roleblock last cycle? Was this successful?
  11. I've thought about this more, and actually have (tentatively) decided to keep the PFP change and forgo the name change.
  12. (Yes, I changed my profile photo. Might do my display name later. See the poll in my sig for reference.) So here is my updated reads list: Ashbringer- I did originally suspect them, but have changed my mind as I've seen all the votes on them after D1 have been weak. (See Striker below) Slight Village Elandera- Welcome! Nothing here yet. Null. Araris Valerian- TJ's reason of suspecting them seemed sound, but my gut says that was a V/V conflict. Mild Village. TJ Shade- I keep wanting to change my mind about TJ, and second guessing my reads on him, but that it also what I've done every single time he's been village. Which is every single time, actually. Mild Village. Straw- @Straw can you posts reads or something? You haven't said much. Null. Frozen Mint- @Frozen Mint, what are your reads/suspicions? Null. Lotus- I still find Lotus suspicious, but I don't want to tunnel. I've listed my suspicions enough times, I think. Mild Elim but don't want to tunnel. Illwei- I don't know what to think about Illwei at this point. He started out very active, but since then has backed off, which is understandable considering the suspicious attention he was gathering. Mostly Null, but a gut Slight Elim Vapor- I wish Vapor would post more stuff, but thus far they seem the same as previous games. There still is little to analyze. Null. Kasimir- Kasimir is actually one of my village reads I'm more sure about at this point. Their posts and analysis just seems... sincere, for lack of a better word. Village. Sart- Post count minimal, would like to see more, especially concerning who they roleblocked. @Sart. Null, reserving further judgement until they say their target. Lahilt- Similar to Vapor. Null Devotary of Spontaneity- I totally see where Kas is getting at- he has some really good points- but Devotary also makes good points, and tbh they seem relatively similar to the other games I've played with them, down to me not being able to read them very well . Their wall-of-textish analysis posts and voting patterns are all in line from what I would expect from village!Devotary. But in light of Kas's points, and partly that nagging section of my gut, I'll put Null, but leaning on Slight Village. StrikerEZ- The reason I roleblocked Striker was because I found their suspicion/voting patterns a bit strange, and was curious to see if they had/used an action. Their level of participation seems more on the level that it was when they were Jeskeri in the QF. Slight Elim. As I finished this Araris ninja'd me. *Pauses to reload page* Oh, he voted on me. Nice... @Araris Valerian, you said that your reads were mostly based on posts. Can you direct me to the post I made that gave you an elim feel? Hopefully I can clear up any confusion.
  13. Yeah, the SE folks is who this was mostly geared at I probably would make it 'Illuminator', which is the non-canon name for a Nicroburst/Sparker Twinborn, which was my role in LG66. I also would change my rank from 'Rolling Rolling Rolling' to 'Was Matrim's Dice' for at least a month or so, and put that in place of the link to this poll in my sig. And the one-at-a-time idea is a good one. I'll do that, if/when I decide to change them. Would it be better to change it during a game or in between a game? I can't decide which would be more confusing
  14. I think it's BYU Cosmere Club. But there's one callde 'The Herd' that's 704.
  15. I will tell you all a story on this fine morning: Once upon a time, there was a teenager who loved Brandon Sanderson, and he decided to make a forum account. it just so happened that he was reading the Wheel of Time at the time of this decision, and thus thought it would be a good idea to make a WoT name. That teenager was me. And now that my Wheel of Time craze has worn off, I have found myself wishing for a Cosmere name. So this is the question: I want to change my display name and pfp, but have made a sort of reputation on the Shard, and people actually know me. Go figure... So I don't want to cause confusion. This poll/topic serves two purposes: To give everyone a sort of heads-up for the name change that will probably eventually happen- and to get an idea of how confusing this will be. Thanks! Later--- CLOSE THE POLLS! I have hereby decided to keep my name, and my new pfp.
  16. Well, that's mildly unfortunate :P. Everyone still will just have to take my word for it...
  17. No need to sneak Half the people who talk here are girls. More than half, even.
  18. Yeah, I was wondering if you were the other one he told, since we had both claimed to not be able to talk in PM's. Thanks for clearing this up.
  19. I targeted @StrikerEZ, and was told it was successful. Striker, can you verify? Assuming you have an action, which isn't a given. Edit: Gears actually PM'd me D1, after I said I can't talk in PM's, saying that he had a disease that made it so his posts can't be longer than 250 words. Later, he put out a reads list that was significantly longer than that, so I was... skeptical. Now he died, and has no condition. I'm wondering if he was healed, or if he just made up a condition, similar to his 'claiming elim' test. In the PM he also told me that he told someone else his disease in a PM, and that he thought they were an elim, but he didn't tell me who it was. So that's something I'm also wondering.
  20. "Huh?" said George, the new guy, as he slipped on a banana peel.
  21. Once upon a- wait, he's dead. Buttons pushed. Missiles launched. Countries destroyed. Kittens played, yarn flew. A mess.
  22. Important Announcement: Currently the longest thread in the "Social Groups, Clans, and Guilds" subforum is 705 posts long. We have 640. GO GO GO GO! Edit: Jk don't spam the thread. Just saying we're close.
  23. Welcome to the Shard! I am unnecessarily honored that your first ever post was in my club.
