So you have enough deo to survive for 3 more cycles, but not enough for a murder contract? Something about that math doesn't add up... I mean, that went really well with Silber... I dunno though. He's at least been on the Shard recently and has a chance of coming back, but we'll see Yeah I keep thinking he'll post something. Xino.... Anyone home???? @Vapor @Lotus does he talk a lot more in your PM?

When I said he voted turtle I meant that turtle flipped elim, so it would have had to be a bus. Those are more likely to be early game, which is why I see elim!you bussing Elk more that I can see elim!Gears bussing turtle. It would have been pretty easy for Gears not to have voted turtle and gotten away with it, because as you mentioned, he hasn't shared much about anyone really so choosing Windrunner over turtle would have been easy. This is actually a good point, though there is just the obvious reason that Illwei died because he was a generally well-trusted villager that was not gonna get lynched. I redirect you to this: A lot of theorizing there, but I also disagree with a lot of your reasoning on Gears and am planning on reading previous cycles. I really am... Example disagree: I assume this is said in a negative light. I think this actually is a more village sign, as an elim would be more likely to pick a 'suspicion' and stay with it for longer.

First option didn't happen, as it was just released. The second is possible but there was just a kill with the Nightmaw. The third, I disagree there's nothing to gain from it. I agree Mint or Kings is an elim. I just think you're the other one. Straw. Here's what the elims, specifically you in this situation, gain from faking inactivity: You were the only active elim (Elk was about to die; turtle was only sorta active; Kings/Mint fully inactive) And decided to not submit a kill, framing an inactive elim team. Your vote on Elk establishes you as trusted, so you can bring up this possibility without being suspected for it. You do, and we go for it, taking down one or two inactive villagers. The distribution right now is either 6-2 or 7-1, the first with 4 starting elims (like Elk and you have suggested) and the second with 3. In the first scenario, you and an inactive player are the remaining elims. You push for that, we eliminate both, and you gain yet more village cred for taking down one. In the second scenario, in which you are the only surviving elim, we take out both inactive villagers and you can write it off as a failed contribution crusade and further 'help' us solve the game. Gears asked what the purpose of the elims 'overguessing' the number of elims was, it could be to set up this scenario. Keep in mind all of that is assuming Straw and Elk planned to fake inactivity for those purposes. Well, it's not like there are a whole lot of active players... and he voted turtle.

I got the lashings mixed up noooooo It's impossible to be the winner when the creator takes the quiz They don't miss any! Genius strategy. I did only miss the first two lashing questions though, so I did okay...

Tournament: Cosmere Character Roast Battles
Mat replied to Ashspren's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
You know, I set up my page, I picked out a song, I got it all ready after I moved on a few weeks ago. I did everything but actually write it I will now, though...- 2784 replies

Ah, the sound of silence. The silence of nothing still halfway into the cycle. C'mon, guys. We should talk about something. Elk, Ash, maybe give an idea of what are you planning on using your roleblock for? (Don't answer that. Secrets are good. Unless they're annoying PM reasons) So in terms of roles lost, that's not really a bad one. Me and Lotus were the only ones who actually voted on someone, and that was just a contribution crusade, so... that was sorta a wasted cycle. We'll see what happens tonight and maybe that will give us more to talk about :P. I guess there might be a good reason no one's posted yet...

Yeah, Ene merged your thread with Frustration's Ene Memes thread. It kept your title, but not that you made the thread
-
I remember you saying before that it had turned out well but my mouth still kinda dropped open

Huh how bout that. Maybe I can actually play this game normal xD Farewell, Illwei. You did well. I was about to follow CadCom's vote until I realized that he also voted on Windrunner... I'm gonna go back and reread through last cycle. That probably will result in a Straw vote, but we'll see.
-
Well, Experience beat me too it. Welcome to the Shard! I'll tag you when the signups go up for the next game, which might not be for a week or so. I'm not sure when the ongoing game will end.

Eehhhhhhhh but I think Lotus is probably village because of Ventyl, even though it's kinda weird she thinks you might be bad when you've been attacked twice. If Silber flips spy I'd be more inclined to go this route though.

...Didn't you say Ash was the spy, thus proving you weren't? Or something?

Not really, though next cycle I might vote Windrunner depending on turtle's flip.
-
Well, you didn't vote Elk either...

Ok, I guess I just read the rules wrong. Vapor, but I'm not clearing her completely yet. I don't have any better ideas. I don't have any ideas at all, in fact. Lord_Silberfarben! Contribution Crusade unite!

Philico felt. The ground, the walls, the air. The looks and words of the horrified and intrigued humans. He felt it all, while moving a thousand places at once. It was magnificent. It was fortunate these humans were cosmere aware; Philico didn't know how he'd survive trapped only in that fake meat sack. He needed to live as he was truly meant to. Eventually though, he gathered himself together and reformed in his human shape. He hoped he got the face right without a reflective surface, but doubted it was the same as before. Now, though, it didn't matter. "I expect I will be invaluable in recovering your friend."

Ah got it
