  1. I did vote her originally, but her logic has been enough to change my mind. Could you maybe... describe the post? :P? Thanks. I just don't like that logic, but you already said it was bad. TJ used it at one point against me too (incorrectly, I might add) and just cause I'm village reading you as a village doesn't mean I'm an elim, just that maybe I actually figured it out for once. (And actually I like elim reading you as an elim. Easy to mislynch, you are ) EDIT: OH I just connected the dots from your '0.o' you did xD Yeah I see what you're saying. Those are completely unrelated
  2. Thanks. Reporting just seems more... angry.
  3. @Ookla the Intimidating I summon your mod powers to move this to a RoW thread. Just so you know, @Valigus, RoW discussion (or anything that has the slighted RoW reference) is not allowed outside of the RoW forums. Thanks!
  4. Ok, I'm back. If I hadn't popped in those few times I'd be completely lost :P. I mean it was a new world so I only had full iron and had just found a big string of diamonds, lapiz, redstone, emerald, etc... and then fell into lava trying to get obsidian -_-. It's fine though. I dug a lot of tunnels :P. Disliking this post. Slight elim read mixed with her other not-much-of-anything post, but Lotus is one to do this more than others. We'll see how I think about this later. GASP I do indeed think Connie/Illwei is v/v. Or at least not v/e, but maybe v/n or v/t or maybe even n/n or n/t and that's a lot of letter/letter 's :P. All true, though I'd say she also did exactly this in LG69 but I don't remember exactly. Still reading Illwei as village. How does village!Illwei = elim!Connie? I am also naturally defensive, and would jump out at 2 votes regardless of alignment (though maybe more so as elim) and I sympathize. I mean, yeah, but I also was like the only one there who had played more than 2 games :P. Claiming village is not AI. Nope, not at all. No she is not. Conclusions (AKA jumbled mess at the end)(AKA TL;DR): I stand by thinking Illwei/Connie is v/v. Reasoning is simply that after reading both of their posts again they both individually read village. My vote on Danex is solely based on my village read of Connie. If Connie flips elim I will not suspect Danex at all, the contrary, actually. (Unless Danex unvotes Connie before she hypothetically flips elim.) Quinn was looking fine at the start of the cycle but recent posts (quoted up there^) have made me more skeptical. I'll be keeping a close watch on Quinn for the next while. Other slight elim reads: Lotus, for reasons above. Exp, for slight reasons from earlier but he hasn't said anything in a while (@Ookla the Shadowed) and I'd like him to. Village reads: Illwei, Connie, SfS, Books Everyone else is null/null+/null- and I don't have the time to differentiate between those at the moment. Tagging the people who have not posted yet: @Ookla the Larkin, @Ookla who goes DORIYAH!!, @eltruT, @Ookla the Watcher, @The Windrunner Supreme, @Ookla the Sprinkle EDIT: Apparently Danex unvoted Connie... Now I'll be sus of him either way. Brilliant. Also @Ookla Fell From The Sky I cannot for the life of me find where Connie voted Illwei. So either that's a mistake on your part or one on mine
  5. @Ookla the Grammatical I am not an elim in this game :P. Though if you are I suspect this is sufficient payback. also I completely disapprove this idea again I am in no place to properly read the last 2 pages or multi quote. Sorry for sparingly popping in. I’ll properly reply later.
  6. So I only skimmed the thread as I’m technically not supposed be on rn, but @Eternum, concerning Illwei, their playstyle rn seems akin to what I’ve seen in the past (though I do want to read their elim game, LG69 iirc) and Connie is slightly different but explained it to my satisfaction. In 2-3 hours I’ll do a megaquote (in theory) when I’m not sneakily on mobile
  7. ...Fair, I suppose. Though it's not really my fault if I agree with the other reads However, I was the first to village read SfS and Books, with the former being questioned. So while both of the elim reads there might have been just in agreement, it's an overassesment to say it provides "nothing new." Am I back already? Yes. Is it because I quit playing minecraft for the day/week/year after falling in lava and losing all my stuff? Maybe.
  8. Connie Danex, subject to change later. I'm off to play some Minecraft and then I will be unavailable for a bit, so don't expect any large posts from me until this evening. Random notes: I like Alv's posts. Edit: This doesn’t equal village read though. Quinn, replying to every post cause I'm bored is exactly how I started an got an active reputation. Not a bad thing, but I've stopped cause it's not summer anymore and I actually have a schedule
  9. Why not just post that now then? It might help change some reads. Stone Shaman. But don't claim Stone Shaman if you are them.
  10. Go right ahead That first sentence is why I have a village read on Books, for their first post about the Shaman strat against the elims. I agree with all of that. I'm leaning that it's all villagers on the Connie train right now, but if anyone else jumps on it I'm probably gonna get off of it. It picked up fast and honestly her defences have lessened my suspicions of her. xD I can confirm that Quinn was mostly in the background QF48. Dunno what point that was for, but there :P. That vote count posted by Illwei is indeed correct (at least to what I have) Define 'acting'. Cause I reeeeeeally don't like that word. It sounds like exactly what the elims are doing. 'Last post' makes me think you're not vanilla.
  11. As much it looks weird for me to be defending Connie, I think this point is flawed. Connie's reasoning for arguing against the D1 lynch is that in her past games they always ended in a villager death. She couldn't have made that point in her first game as she hadn't played a game yet. I addressed this in my post with this: But I maybe should have been more clear. (Granted, apparently Connie spectated her siblings' games, so that counterpoint could be redundant. But I dunno)
  12. What good evidence would we have D1? Nothing. Nothing has happened, nothing could have happened. There is no possible way to get evidence D1. What if we don't vote, then? N2: No deaths. We're in the exact same place as before. Nothing has happened, nothing could have happened. Sure, once D2 begins there will be a kill or two, but we'll only have alignments to go off and maybe a hunch cross-referencing their posts with who they interacted with. Maybe. The vote count is a huge outlet for analysis, as it's one of the only village-controlled (or should be village-controlled) deaths. Elims, especially D1 elims, will want to steer the focus away from teammates, and D1 is useful for that because villagers don't know enough to recognize it when it happens. I will always be an advocate for a D1 lynch unless there is a huge swing in the meta, the vote analysis I view as too valuable to stave off for a 'better chance' at lynching an elim. That being said, it makes me wonder why you waited three games to bring this up. New players who say this do so in their first game, though I suppose your reasoning behind it wouldn't have worked then. Either way I'm feeling okay about my vote here.
  13. @Straw, I've reconsidered my schedule and the LG, and I think I'll drop out of this one. I think you had more than 15 hopefuls anyway, so one of them can play in my place. I'll take a spec doc, though. Thanks!
  14. Hmmm... tentative vote on Connie. Could change based on later Connie/Illwei interaction, currently just a gut feeling. *Shrugs* Gut instinct (and past observation) tells me that SfS is the kind of village player to do something like that. I agree the claim itself isn't alignment indicative, but I think the person claiming is. He also could be the Truthless, but either way I'd prefer to keep him alive.
  15. Reads: SfS, Books: Slight Village Quinn, STINK, Araris: Null Village Danex, Illwei, Alvron, Devotary, Gears, TJ: Null Connie, Experience: Null Elim
  16. The elims... have been winning a lot lately. I've only played two village wins. And yes one of those I was an elim Caution doesn't hurt though. PM safety isn't an issue now, but that would be nice to try to improve from recent games I kinda want to vote before I head off to bed, but a later rollover for me doesn't provide enough content for me to feel like putting a vote down just yet. Y'all can analyze that decision while I sleep if you want
  17. It's not a mechanic, just the situation where Szeth kills himself to take out the Shaman What Araris said. Though when I wrote my post I had forgotten the benefit of the Truthless' survival, and I believe you did as well.
  18. He said he's not claiming anymore as he's now been an elim. And he has, in my MR that just concluded. I don't see anything in there where he claimed.
  19. Ah, thank you. This is why I need to reread the rules... Edit: @Ookla the Shadowed, I believe stink is voting Gears for not claiming elim
  20. Ok! I need to read the rules again, as it was over a week the last time I did. I guess I could read Gears' post as opposed to skimming it, also I think the Truthless is a good point of discussion to start with, what do we say about their survival/death? On one hand, their wincon doesn't impact ours but on the other killing them wastes a cycle. But it'd be nice to let them win, y'know? Actually, the more I think about it the Truthless is just a big IKYK waiting to happen. If someone is obviously acting suspicious, is it an elim, the Truthless, an elim trying to appear so obviously as the Truthless to get us not waste a cycle on them, but we'll think they're an elim who is actually Truthless... y'know, what's the downside to killing someone trying to appear as the Truthless? Villagers obviously won't. Elims would (riskily) to avoid being lynched for wasting a cycle, but I dunno how much of a waste that would be. I guess it depends on how many people we have as Truthless candidates, and if we even are going to think about the role. What makes you say this? Daziron hefted a spear, looking out at the Shin country. Such a strange nation, with the soft ground and the green... spikes emerging out of it. Spikes, but soft to the touch. The ground made Daziron feel like he would sink right into it, but because he was one of the Gravitation Fused he didn't have to set foot on it.
  21. The Epic powers that you’re seeing are solely for fun and RP. The Reckoners ‘figuring them out’ is a flavor way of adding them to the kill list, I believe. If you have any other questions, just ask! Welcome to SE!
  22. Hey, there was that one Epic whose weakness was Kool Aid. My guy's powers go away when he has socks on!
  23. Ok, character: Matthew, a.k.a. Liquify. Powers: Water manipulation (ie waterbending). Weakness: Wearing socks.
  24. I'll play as Matthew, since this is non-cosmere. Edit: Read the rules, maybe not. Hmm I'll have to think about this. @Ookla the Paradoxical (Archer), here are the signups for the next game! Enjoy
