Storms.
Yumi is so good.
It has probably the most masterful ending of any book I've ever read, and the story just connected with me on so many levels.
Spoilers:
SpoilerWhen I found out the she was a nightmare, I literally cried for Nikaro. And when she was sacrificing herself it was right, but so sad. And then the second ending was like the best thing. I'm not even making sense of my emotions. There is now no doubt in my mind that Brandon is a master artist.
Yumi is def now, if not my favorite, then in my top 2 favorite books ever. It took a little to get into it but storms was it worth it.

6 down
Tress is such a good book I really should have read it sooner.
And all the cosmeric tidbits are just...so good. Hoid's 'voice' is very masterfully done.
Spoilers, not to the plot:
SpoilerA couple things that stood out on the cosmere level while reading. First, Tress's description of Death matches that of Marsh the Inquisitor which is quite... interesting.
Also, when Hoid mentions when they undid Adonalisum, he says it was himself and 16 others. I wonder if this means if there were nobody else, and if so I'm kind of surprised as I assumed the dawnshards were 'split up' in the same way and at the same time as all the shards.
Anyway, one of my more favorite cosmere books by far.

Little Life Update:
Have officially started my cosmere reread in preparation of KoWaT. Finished era 1 of mistborn (spook was one of my favorites to read this time around) as well as alloy of law.
Watched Damsel tonight, it's a new movie on Netflix. Would def recommend. Very well done and no nudity or anything like that (yay!)
Finally started outlining a short film, the working title of which is Joy. More updates as I progress with that.
Still looking for a new show to watch cuz I finished stranger things, so if you have any ideas hit me up.
My brothers and I are starting a landscaping business, which has been very...interesting to say the least.
I know I'm going to major in media arts, but I've been trying to decide if I should minor in acting (whatever the technical name for it is idk), or if I should just take acting classes because I also want to try acting out for funzies. Still have a little time to figure that all out though.
Yeah that's about it. I love y'all and you're amazing!
Also no point in counting in this one cuz the previous is still going lol

It's always good to hear from you!
I would also recommend Demon Slayer (my pfp came from somewhere . . .) like Panda, but I would like to add that it is rated TV-MA on netflix, which is important to consider. It's mostly rated that way because it's really violence, and there's a lot of onscreen gore. I personally don't think it's that bad, but gore and violence have never really bothered me that much, so I guess I can't really say. It does also have some sexual references in it. (I highly recommend checking out the IMDB parents guide for more info.
Another really good anime you could watch is Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. It's honestly one of the best fantasy stories ever written (imo)--I'm not sure where you can stream that though.
I did start watching Damsel last night, and I'm about halfway through. So far I haven't been super impressed, so I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on it when I'm finished.

I found out today I may have a chance to a return to proselyting mission again.
I am equally extremely hopeful and terrified.
