You are correct about me not having played with you as an elim. However unfortunately that doesn’t help either of us much. I remember you yourself saying that you were known for being a difficult elim to catch. I am rethinking my vote on you for the reason that you are one of the most active players. And frankly we probably need that right now. Without anything to pinpoint aside from gut feeling I’m not quite sure I’m ready to lynch you.

DeTess is following the play style that I remember them having the last time I played with them. Which as usual is pretty hard to decipher anything indicating alignment from. Although something about their posts is rubbing me the wrong way. I’ll try and go back today and see if I can pinpoint what it is. For now though, I’m putting my vote on them

Could you explain why? Another thing to keep in mind is that with a game like this, we will all be losing out on a ton of information because of PM’s. Not to say they’re bad, but it does limit information given to everyone.

Unfortunately I don’t have too much to say as of yet, however I do agree that putting our perspective votes in the thread is important, as it is one of the best ways for the village to get information. The possibility of elims without a doc is quite interesting, and I hope to ponder on that a little more as the game develops.

Long Game 64: Choose Your Own Sanderson Adventure!
Zillah replied to little wilson's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Therapist: To help players find their true potential! Once per cycle they can choose to switch two players roles (even if they have no role). If one or both of the roles is alignment specific the switch fails. The Therapist will be notified that it failed. However will be given no further information. (Just in case I need to clarify, I’m signing up!) I would like to add that this whole “let the players make the game” concept feels a little bit like giving a classroom of first graders acrylic paint at their desks and saying “have fun!”- 421 replies

This post seems incredibly suspicious. Why post within a few hours of the end of they cycle when they could easily have waited until D7? This seems like an elim making sure they have a post in order to submit a successful kill.
-
So what I'm gathering here is that Coda votes block Rath or Alvron, and Alvron votes block Coda. Edit: Abstrusity did not post during the day cycle, which means that they have to post sometime during this cycle should they be an EBI agent wanting to submit a kill.
-
I would agree with the Alvron Lynch. While Elkanah’s information seems trustworthy, I don’t think we should blindly follow them. That’s not just because my head is on the chopping block, it’s because it puts them in a mayor role. Even though they’ve been arrested it’s not a smart idea to do so. I never got clarification on why exactly Elkanah was suspicious of the players on the list they had. Can anyone shed any light on that?
-
That "Some Reason" would likely be the fact that your vote was the sixth on Elandera. It does look very bussy, and can be interpreted as an The closest second place runner had only two votes on them. That being said, voting on someone else that late in the cycle also might have looked suspicious if not for the fact that Elandera had five votes on them.
-
Vote count: Xino: (0) *Elandera* Young Bard: (0) *Elkanah* Elandera: (3) Young Bard, Xinoehp, Rathmaskal Elkanah (2) Elandera, Zillah Coda: (1) Elkanah The Elkanah I’m seeing in this game may as well be a completely different player than the Elkanah I played with the past two games. Both of which they were confirmed Village. They are playing extremely carefully in comparison to their previous antics. Elandera’s excuse of not taking an action feels like an eliminator trying to use the least risky justification. It is safer than claiming to have taken some other action that could have potentially be challenged. Their vote on Elkanah makes me question my suspicions of them. However it could also be an effort to try and remove the pressure off of them as they are currently in the lead by two votes. (Barring vote manipulation) My last suspicion falls onto young bard. Your mention of Elandera being roleblocked was a surprise. And then you were very quick to reveal details about what your subset could do. If you’re a villager with an elim in your subset you’re likely somewhere in their crosshairs now. At the end of this, I think I’ll put a vote on Elkanah For drastic gameplay changes and reasoning that feels very flimsy.
-
Sorry for my lack of activity! I had a sports tournament and was super busy. Also for some reason wasn’t getting notifications from the cycle. . . Anyways I’m back! There was a huge amount of vote manipulation this cycle. Which leads me to believe that some individuals have the ability to manipulate votes. As well as potentially a subset. The reason I say individual players is because of just how much vote manipulation there was. That being said it is very odd that we had this much on cycle two and nothing cycle one.
-
Technically we only have full confirmation of the legal subset. The communication subset may just have been for the initial writeup. The only other note I have at the moment is that there was no obvious vote manipulation this cycle. Not to say it doesn’t exist, just that it doesn’t appear to have been used at all.

Yeah, the first post is a dreaded one for me. I tend to procrastinate with it simply for the reason that I don't know what to say. There's really not much to discuss or analyze, especially in a blackout game like this. I am personally very excited by the concepts of subsets. I'll definitely have more to say come day two, but this is me officially checking in.

I’m just a bit too tired for much analysis at this point, however I have some questions to open up the cycle. @Fifth ScholarCould you perhaps give some explanation to your last minute switch from Araris to Xino? @Araris Valerian @Abstrusity and @Sart , could you also shed some light on your votes last cycle? Another thing to note is the extra vote that Xino had on them. Meaning one of the five in question is a First Citizen. The relevance of that is currently up for debate, but for now I'm alright following Kynedaths initial plan. Araris Valerian

Kynedath Araris Valerian I don’t have time to say much, my phones at 9%. . . Pulling this and having it be a lie would no doubt get xino and likely fifth lynched in the next few cycles. They also with Araris to not tip them off that early on. The information would have been worthless that early on. Not necessarily. After seeing one attack, Xino likely would have looked at who appeared to be in league with the ideas of the prospective elim. This narrows down the options, significantly increasing the odds of success.

@Elkanah to respond to your question, I think I’ll put my vote on Kynedath (I didn’t want to quote you because your post was hecking long.) I don’t have too much on them unfortunately, but that’s part of the issue. They are far less active this game than the last game I played with them. With that there are much less risks, last game they spoke out quite a bit which led to a few close calls with being lynched. This game they’re not doing any of that, effectively staying out of the spotlight and off the radar. Vote Count (as per usual) Kynedath: (1) Elkanah, Zillah Sart: (1) Kynedath Araris Valerian: (2) Xinoehp, Elkanah Striker: (0) Elkanah Abstrusity: (0) Araris Valerian Xinoehp: (3) Sart, Araris Valerian, Abstrusity,

The God King roleclaiming as a gunner really rubs the the wrong way. On one hand it could be a village trying to dissuade elims from targeting them. On the other, it could be an elim possibly trying to dissuade a Lynch. I’d lean towards the latter if they were under scrutiny, but as it is nobody was voting them or turning up suspicious evidence on them. Elkanah, once again you seem very sporadic and all over the place. Last game it was with the PM’s. This game it’s codes and white text. I don’t really get what you’re doing, which definitely creates some mistrust. Abstrusity, I’m not quite sure what it is, but something about your posts seems off to me. More to come if I can decipher exactly what it is that’s off putting. Sart, I don’t think you’ve posted yet this cycle. . .either way, the way you put out the chip passing idea then immediately backed off the second it was questioned feels odd. Kynedath, not much to say yet. Posts seem pretty genuine and logical. That being said, no hard evidence for this. Slight ish village read. I know that’s not everyone, but I don’t have much of a read on the other players at the moment.

Araris Valerian (1) Fifth Scholar Xinoehp (0) Araris Valerian Sart (1) Kynedath Rathmaskal (1) Kidpen Elkanah (1) Kidpen Kidpen (3) The God King, Rathmaskal, Araris Valerian I'd also like to note that it was a six way tie between the people being voted for until Rath and Araris joined on the Kidpen Lynch.
