Even looking at just plain statistics, with twelve players and 3/4 eliminators, the odds of catching one are significantly higher. This isn’t to say we start randomly lynching left and right, it’s just a thought I found slightly interesting. Especially with the lack of activity and discussion this cycle so far, we have very little to go off of in terms of evidence for substantial lynches.

Updated vote count: Kidpen (1) Abstrusity Striker (1) Fifth Scholar Xinoehp (1) Araris Valerian Shanerocks (1) Sart @Abstrusity I think you're trying to not vote for anyone, but it looks like you haven't officially taken your vote off of Kidpen. Could you clarify your voting intentions?

I can see how a day one lynch is effective in starting real discussion and allowing analysis to happen. However that being said, it feels unfair and a bit mean, so for that reason I will be abstaining from voting this cycle. The gunner would be a pretty powerful role for the eliminators to have, so if they do have it the other 2-3 eliminators likely wouldn't have as strong of roles to keep the balance. With the Heirs having the ability to inherit skills, it seems likely that there would be at least two of them, and one on each side of the table. However with fourteen players, six roles, and no guarantee of players who are role-less, there will be others that are doubled. The gunner I feel is unlikely for that, just because of how powerful it is.

Well, despite only having one game under my belt I’m back for another! I’m really excited to join one in which I’ve read the source material. (Not my favourite Sanderson though.) Hoping for less cycle one helmet fire!

Quick Fix 42: Alcatraz vs. the Watakotse Infiltration

I had so much fun with the translators lens! I spent way too much time playing detective and piecing together who was who in every one. It helped that @Elkanah used the same opening line for 3/4 of their PM’s! special thanks to @Kynedath for convincing me to join! So worth it!- 240 replies

Thank you @Elandera for running this game and sending me all those PM’s even when it glitched out on you. (Gosh people talk a lot!) I had a phenomenal first game with everyone, and look forward to hopefully playing in the future and being less terrible at all of this.- 240 replies

I don’t particularly understand FeruSky’s playstyle much either. @Feruchemical Skybreaker, could you maybe explain some of your logic and reasoning? Overall, although if possible specifically from last cycle.- 240 replies

Quick Fix 42: Alcatraz vs. the Watakotse Infiltration
Zillah replied to Elandera's topic in Sanderson Elimination
CadCom: They survived two attacks in a row, which definitely could’ve put them in a mayor role. They seem to have successfully avoided being a true mayor as of yet though. Overall, trusted village. Elkanah: With all of their shenanigans and false claims and backstepping, I don’t feel like they’re an elim. I feel as if they are likely village. I won’t go into the detail on that as it’s all been said previously. That being said the strongest doubts I have are actually from the high ratio of new players. We are trying to understand all the motives and play styles, and that would make it easier to successfully pull things like that as an Elim. Overall, likely village, but I don’t trust what they say because of the lies. Kynedath: Their posts seem quite logical for the most part, and as of yet I haven’t been given any reasons to distrust them. We seem to have similar thought patterns though they have experience. I don’t read anything shady or elim. StrikerEZ: That whole PM triangle thing seems quite sketchy, and their reasoning as to how that would help a villager was quite flimsy. I don’t see how it would help, and that makes me quite suspicious of them. Apparently their lack of activity is also abnormal? But I’m relying on other players for that one Devoraty of Spontaneity: Hasn’t posted much at all, but nothing they’ve said makes me suspicious or trusting so still neutral. I don’t think they have been voted on for a lynch once as of yet Furechemial SkyBreaker: A lot of their posts seem to be quite abrasive and I’m not entirely sure what their logic or reasoning to many of their choices is. Now I’m not sure if this is new player as elim, or just new player. The God King: Similar to Furechemical SkyBreaker, but far less abrasive. Rathmaskal: When I got to them I realized I didn’t have many thoughts because of their playing style. They’ve been contributing, but in a way that they’ve been really easily missed. They are slipping under the radar. That and their votes seem really all over the place. Summary: Trust: Kynedath, CadCom Trust that they are village but don’t trust what they say: Elkanah Neutral: Devotary Sketchy: Furechemical SkyBreaker, The God King Real Sketchy: StrikerEZ Rathmaskal- 240 replies

Quick Fix 42: Alcatraz vs. the Watakotse Infiltration
Zillah replied to Elandera's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I would agree with this, however I would like to add that I find it unlikely that they are a special role of the village as well. Again, claiming as two special roles knowing that it was likely they’d be found out for that is risky. It makes the possibility of being killed by an Elim as well as lynched by the village very likely. Neither of which would be good since the special roles are fairly useful to have. I’m still not set on trusting them, just less suspicious for now. I’m going to go a bit outside the box and talk about DeTess for the moment. Majority of their posts seem to be centred a lot more around picking apart what others say and asking players questions rather than bringing to light new things. They have nearly rock solid arguments that are difficult to challenge, which makes them much more trusted it seems. It feels like people are hesitant to go against them because their post could get turned around and made into ample Lynch material. This is nothing against DeTess, just an observation on their postings style. Naturally though, noticing this does make me suspicious of them. It seems like a smart way for an elim to play. Being active, but focusing on others and their posts rather than bringing their own information which could get turned around on them.- 240 replies

Quick Fix 42: Alcatraz vs. the Watakotse Infiltration
Zillah replied to Elandera's topic in Sanderson Elimination
@DeTess I would like to point out that you yourself was one who voted against Venture, along with four others. I personally provided reasoning as to why I didn't believe Venture was an eliminator, which wouldn't make sense should I be one myself. Yes Elkanah had a role in the D1 Lynch. However if they were a villager it was nearly wholly luck. No abilities or lenses had been in effect yet, and everyone admitted to being scrambled and unsure of anything. If they were an elim, voting for one of their partners immediately would gain credibility. Voting against could pull them into question if and when Kidpen was Lynched, and it was learned that they tipped the initial vote against. I had more evidence against Elkanah through PM's than I did the others.- 240 replies

Quick Fix 42: Alcatraz vs. the Watakotse Infiltration
Zillah replied to Elandera's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Nobody seems to have any logical claims against Kynedath aside from gut feelings. Striker because they want a tie for lunches. It seems that people are going for Venture because of what I feel was a slightly underhanded comment to The God King. They also seems to be a target because of as their willingness to go for Rathmaskal early on with very little reasoning. I don't like that comment, it feels off, but their roleclaiming is kind of putting me off of it a bit, for reasons I said earlier. I'm definitely suspicious of Elkanah, but I’m not sure I feel that has to do with their playstyle or just gut feeling. How nonchalant they seem with voting (As Kynedath put it) feels really off. Another thing to note, is that I do feel some tension brewing between Venture and The God King. I’m not sure if there’s substance to that, but Ventures comment and God Kinds instant response to vote for them seems like the brewing of a possible feud. All that being said, I think I’ll put one in for Elkanah- 240 replies

Quick Fix 42: Alcatraz vs. the Watakotse Infiltration
Zillah replied to Elandera's topic in Sanderson Elimination
As of now Butt Ad Venture is the only one to make a public roleclaim. Therefore his post would be a pretty easy choice for someone with a truthfinders lens. If they are an eliminator this would be a very risky move, and they’d have to bet their money on the holder of the truthfinders lens chosing something else. It doesn’t make sense for an eliminator to be the one to initiate this, so I’m feeling less distrust towards them as of now.- 240 replies

Trust the least, potentially yourself in all honesty. Something just seems to be off, I’m not entirely sure what it is. I’m also not entirely sure I trust Elkanah, PMing everyone seems a little bit sketchy. Could be interpreted as trying to gain trust individually so they aren’t found out. I do think things are going to get interesting since we got an elim day one. They’re now likely down to only two.- 240 replies

Quick Fix 42: Alcatraz vs. the Watakotse Infiltration
Zillah replied to Elandera's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Yeah, I wanted to hold off posting till I heard a bit more of what people had to say and how the game actually worked. Turns out it’s a tad overwhelming but I think I’m finally getting it. Hopefully I’ll be able to post something more productive next cycle. I also started a new semester today so it was heavy with course outlines and beginning homework, should calm down for the next cycle though. It seems to go by so fast, and there’s so many lenses, that by the time we analyze all of it we’ll be onto a new cycle.- 240 replies
