    The helicopters land at the headquarters/secret control office building for Villin and Eivel Corporation for Child Welfare, and Konna rushes out to meet them. "Let me see her!" The soldiers step back to reveal Tion, still shackled to the chair, and Konna steps over to the unconscious girl. Almost giddily, she says, "I've prepared a special cell for her. Follow me, and bring her along." They walk into the building, Tion hoisted over the soldier's shoulder again.

    The group of soldiers that ransacked the house enter their helicopter, and the blades begin to spin. The helicopters all lift off and depart with an honor guard surrounding the helicopter containing Tion. Within the helicopter, the soldiers shackle Tion to a seat and tranquilize her again. @The_Truthwatcher

    Hee hee. Did you know that Quentin's Talent isn't actually saying random things? It's actually seeing the future in weird random words.

    Technically, that's Quentin's line in Alcatraz and the Evil Librarians. The line in Mistborn is "Wasing is of wasing was."

    The soldiers walk across the yard as the other soldiers file into their helicopters, then salute to one of the soldiers wearing a camera. "Target acquired, ma'am." Konna's voice issues from a microphone pinned to the soldier's jacket. "Very good, you may return to base. Ensure that she does not wake up before she is in her cell back at base. Dismissed!"

    The soldier opens the trapdoor, revealing Tion, who jumps out of the hiding spot just in time to get shot by a tranquilizer bullet and pass out on the floor. The soldier tosses her over his shoulder and carries her out of the house.

    As the soldiers move into the family room, one checks under the couch, then flips the couch over, revealing the trapdoor hiding Tion on the bottom of the couch. He calls the other soldiers over, who level their guns at the trapdoor as the soldier reaches out to open the trapdoor.

    One of the soldiers, clothed in gray jackets, puts his hand to his ear, then nods and begins to speak. "Ransack the house. She's in here somewhere." Tion searched the visions, looking for a future in which she escaped, but couldn't find any, but she also couldn't see the most urgent futures, so she could hope. The soldiers began to move around the house, checking every corner and possible hiding place.

    Jeremy starts as the group disappears, all except for Tion. He calls Konna. "Everyone here but the target just disappeared!" "Can you tell, is it invisibility, teleportation, or something else?" "No, I can't tell." "No matter. As long as the target is still there, our mission is unaffected." Tion gasps. "They--left me behind?" She sobs, once, and pulls herself together. She steps carefully through her house, avoiding the view of the cameras. She makes her way to the couch, and crawls underneath to the hiding place she has there to hide from the soldiers, who burst into the house just as Tion is absent from view.
